It still wouldn't hurt to go back to the manufacturer about your issues if it doesn't look like it's working according to spec especially if it says it's supposed to be soap and body safe.
Make hot process soap out of it. I had the same problem with a store bought fragrance. Turns out it was meant for "melt and pour" rather than cold process. I took my failed batch and threw it into a crock pot and stirred it and let it heat and cook in the pot. Because it was the "day after" and most of the moisture was still in the bar it melted down nicely and made the mashed potato look and I let it cook like that for hours. My entire house smelled like the fragrance by the end of it, and when it finally was 100% cooked and back incorporated together I mounded it back into the mold and let it cool. The texture of the bar it made was a bit off (it came out waxy) and the smell morphed a bit, but it was safe for use. I had to not use that fragrance for cold process ever again. Bath bombs may be a better option for that fragrance rather than soaps.
I'm going to use this to review the scientific method with my middle schoolers. I'm curious if you normally keep pH strips around to test soap, and if you did that off camera. It would be interesting to know the pH of the cured bars.
I love how this went from "oh no the batch is ruined" to "let's do a really precise science experiment"

what was the reference?
Why are you always yelling?
“This is the first week that has like five month in it” will play over and over in my head for the rest of the night
The forbidden fudge
Even though it didn't turn out, it still looks beautiful!!
I wish you did a batch with a mix of the oils too as an additional control batch. I really enjoyed this video tho, do you ever have to test new fragrances or recipes? If you do I would love to see those experiments as videos too! X
I love your background and aesthetic!
Coconut milk gives false trace
Katie, you’re looking beautiful today. I always love your videos!
You made me feel so much better! The exact same thing happened to me.
You have been looking extra beautiful lately!!!
Oof, as a soap maker this hurts to watch, especially since tou have big bottles. I loved the science experiment though!
"now that all the everything is added in" Katie Carson, 2021
I absolutely hate when fragrance oils are not properly tested by vendors. So irresponsible
“The first week to have five months in it” oh Katie. I love you.
You needed to add coconut milk to all of them for a proper experiment
I’m exited for the new collection! Hopefully he next batch turns out better!
Yes you do clickbait.
We 💘 u anywayez
"this is the first week that has like 5 months in it..." I feel you, sister. I feel you.
It still wouldn't hurt to go back to the manufacturer about your issues if it doesn't look like it's working according to spec especially if it says it's supposed to be soap and body safe.
"This is the first week that has five months in it".........me too, Katie. Me too.
I thought this video was a year old for a second
I've never clicked so fast. I refreshed my subs and caught a royalty soap upload before my notifications. :D
This soap Collection comes out on my birthday
I'd still contact the company and say that I should get a refund because their product description was untrue.
Is there nothing else you can use the oil for?
Maybe make candles? Haha I’ll buy them
Off of you to make candles! But thank you for showing us this !
Could you share photos of what they look like up close on IG?
