Thank you for posting this one. The GOT fragrances all seem problematic- they all seem to thicken but this is the worst.
I've learned FO reacts differently to different oil bases so I don't always read the reviews. I've had FO that work in one recipe but not in others.

Hi, last year I made 6 pound batch of soap. I made the soap then separated a small batch, color both of them added the fragrance oil and mixed it by hand. I pour the small batch in my loaf mold. Next stir the fragrance oil into the main batch and pour it into the mold slowed trying not to break into the 1st layer. After a few hours I went to check on the soaps. I see oil all over the top of the soap. So I left the soap in the mold over a week. The fragrance oil reabsorbed into the soap. I cut the soap it had air pocket still with fragrance oil

I'm so sorry that happened to you. Do you ever make hot process? Actual hot process, not rebatch? If you do, you can use what I call "the bad boys" of fragrances because ricing and acceleration aren't issues in hot process. If you have some left that really smell good, you may want to consider using them in hot process instead of tossing them. If nothing else, make some that way for yourself and family and friends. Anyway, that's how I deal with "the bad boys."

I had one turn on me. It smelled amazing in the bottle and for the first 24 hours after mixing it into MP soap. After that it smelled like it was rancid.

I will not throw it away. I'd keep it away and forget it for a few months or maybe a year and then it probably will turn out to be the best soap.

Yes it’s still on my shelf. Made it 2 months ago. Still feels weird and greasy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wouldn't throw it away and never have thrown away soap that seems wasteful. It's still soap just ugly so I just use it for personal use at home

I don’t even want to use. Besides being extremely mad at it, it’s very greasy feeling. Still sitting on my shelves for now

@@LunaFaeCreations the oil should reabsorb into the soap with time

Maybe you could use it in a soap that you do with cinnamon, like an apple cinnamon soap. I am upset for u.
