@@Country_tuff this modification is all that is neccesary. For a 2016 with power folding OEM small mirrors with signal (DL3) the modify door harness adds the running light and cargo light that your mirrors are not currently equipped with.
Just got my Boost Auto mirrors yesterday and used this video to modify my original harness. Works great! Just wish the cargo lamps worked as a puddle lamp, not just with the cargo button. Either way, I love them. Thanks guys!
Are these quality mirrors? I have heard of complaints about the glass shaking when driving on the road? Is there a warranty with these mirrors? Any feed back would be appreciated. I have picked out what I wanted with all options just need some feedback before I fork out over $1000.00 for mirrors
Our mirrors are the highest quality aftermarket mirrors you will find. They are assembled and quality tested in our Northern Illinois facilities. I'd encourage you to read through the reviews on our site.

Just wanted to give a shot out for awesome vid. Installed my to mirrors and instructions where dead on. I can say I was able to depin with a pick to release the 2 wires with no issue . Being a tech prolly helps idk. But great work on the video helped tremendously.
I am new to this I purchased tow mirrors that are power heated etc and my truck already has powered mirrors. I looked and it was manufactured in January 2014. what happens if I do not get this harness thing you guys are mentioning? Please help
@@boostautoparts Thank you for your response. It seems the tow mirrors I purchased already come with harness wires (black and white wires). I have a pictures I can provide just let me know where to send them. I will be calling bc I really want to have these installed but I am not that savvy when it comes to this and need help.

Red wire is for signal. Fold should be plug and play if originally equipped. Contact our support team at support@boostautoparts.com if the mirrors are from us
Predictably, the hardest part is putting the door panel back on.. pain in the DICK! I busted the white plastic piece at the base the door lock. This should be fun sourcing and costing WAY more than it should.
i didnt have signal before and only installed blue and white so far and nothing works i have yet to install black wire but shouldnt some things be working or you need all wires connected for everything to work?
@@camambriati9543 Blue is for running light, white wire is for cargo lights. If you originally had turn signal on glass that is all you should have to install. If you didn't originally have turn signal on glass, this is the wrong video for you to follow and nothing will work without installing the other wires in the kit.

I have turn signal, puddle light and auto fold on oem mirrors 2018 gmc sierra denali, i dont want to go through the door latch adding pins with wires there. If i will just plug the connector to oem and thats it? What wont work?

my gray connector has a wire in number 11 and in number 9. Do I remove those?

What exactly are the two wires that are being removed from the original setup and why?
Auto-Dim & Puddle light. Those features aren't present on towing mirrors, and the pins are utilized differently on the towing mirrors.
@@boostautoparts why did you cut them though ? Now you can’t put the old mirrors back on. Can’t you just tape them off to the side?

My 2018 2500 has wires in the connection spot 11 and 9 in the harness that connects to the door jam. What do I do

Most audio shops would be capable of doing this install.

This is not for a 2020 Silverado. We are working on that upgrade path seperately.
