Thanks to Julio I was able to install my tow mirrors myself using his wiring kit and led lights. I called him my time being 6pm from Cali and his being 8pm and he answered right away willing to help me out and walk me through install of connections for the original tow mirrors which was very helpful! Highly recommended his company TEXAS TOW MIRRORS he is a professional in what he does and best of all Answers all your questions and concerns. Some companies just sell and aren’t really responsive on how to do install and pretty much leave you on your own not Julio he helps out a lot. Thanks again man👍🏻!

Just installed my Tow Mirrors with this harness followed the video step by step total install took me about 1 hour and 40mins but was well worth it all lights work. Very happy with the results .

Man bro, you should have told us how freaking hard it is to plug that door jam connecter back in. Damn thing was a pain. 😖…It’s not as easy & straight to the point like this guy does it. How do you reamove the terminals i got one stuck in there
Mines the z71 ltz if I hook them up will my turn signals work and all my otjer lights work on tje tow mirrors, or will I have to add wires from the fuse box from the tow mirrors
Would the heated mirrors part work even tho you didn’t have them on the stock mirrors? if so how do you get them to work?

I just had my mechanic put them on and Everything works besides when the running led lights dont stay on. Idk if he misplaced a pin or didnt hook them up to my running lights but everything else works perfectly

So what wire is the signal wire for the turn signal ,trying to run switch back door handles and need to tap into the signal wore of tow mirrors
I flowed your instructions but I am having problems when plugging the harness back in on the door jamb. Feels like the pink clip is going to break. And it feels like the harness isn't going in all the way

Are those aftermarket tow mirrors eBay special or are they OEM GM parts will this work on both will these also powerfold
This is for the lights to work and will also make the powerfold work if you purchase the powerfold switch at the dealer . It will work on all tow mirrors.
The led in the mirror are 12 volts?
My 18 silverado stock mirrors are power folding and ha e turn signals on the reflection side. Do I need a harness?

I'm Replacing my existing tow mirrors with blinkers So I only need to add pins 9 and 11. If my truck didn't have the cargo or running light feature will it still work by just adding the pins I need to buy pins and I want to button up the door panels now so I want to run the wires for later

i believe i have these exact tow mirrors on mine but they were installed prior to me getting the truck and the turn signals running lights don’t work and i am not sure if they have a second plug so what should i do about ordering one
When in doubt select “no” . It will work for any 14-18 tow mirrors

Hi , they are cargo lights . They turn on with your cargo light switch under the radio .

Sure you can, I did in my 2017 wt 1500, the new mirror came with 4 bolts but you need drill a new hole, (the spot is already marked) and you will need to conect the lights with the extra plug wires.

Hi, I have the wiring harness, but my tow mirror does NOT have a second plug like in this video, just the main one. So I have no where to plug the harness into? Is there a work for this or do I need to get different towing mirrors?

Hi, all you would need is the powerfold switch . This harness will already provide power for it .

I bought a tow mirror kit from eBay and it came with the harness but it doesn’t have the pins on the end of my wire, just bare wire ends. Where do I find them pins?

Had a couple questions for anyone who has had similar issues with the wiring. I have the heated option so the black wire is supposed to be for the heat. I didn’t know if it will still work if I just grounded it to the door. Also since grounding the black wire my signal on the outside does not work although my signal on the mirror works. Not sure if you could lead me in the right direction thanks!
Hi , you cant ground the all black wire for the heated feature . You will cause a short .
- the mirrors you purchased didnt come with the switchback option thats why the turn signal doesn’t work on the outside marker light.

so before i installed these mirrors, the previous ones where moving just fine (mirrors), but when i installed the one ones, exactly the same, the mirrors where not moving correctly, up and down was not working, and when i switched side, both sides started to move.. any suggestion?

I just wired my tow mirrors up on my 2015 1500 and the turn signal doesn’t flash/blink. The signal on the glass works perfect but the signal on the front of the mirror just stays constantly lit. Where did I go wrong? Thanks

My stock mirror was non heated, and installed a heated tow mirror.. do i need extra wiring for it to work?
Hi , this harness is only for lighting. As for the heated part , if your stock mirrors are electric adjust there is 98% chance its pre wired for heated.

I just installed tow mirrors on my 2016 Sierra. They are power folding, heated, and turn signals on the outside not on the glass. Everything works as it should, except the cargo lights because I didn’t add the harness in which was for the cargo lights and turn signals. My turn signals already work without adding the supplied harnesses. I want the turn signal lights to work as running lights too. Will these harnesses make the turn signals work as running lights too?
Also, the harnesses that were supplied have 3 wires. They’re blue, white, and black. Would those harnesses work like the ones in the video?
Hi , the harness won’t make your marker lights turn on white unless your mirrors came with that option .

So I out mine on today and my parking lights on mirrors don't work but the ground wire on one of the studs on the mirror. Could that be why they ain't working?

If my trucks mirrors have all the options already and power folding do I still need the harness or no? The mirrors on it have the blinker and running lights at the bottom of it
If you have small mirrors the lights at the bottom are puddle lights not running lights . The harness will make the running lights and cargo lights work .

I do not have ANY electric going to my mirrors, will this still work? Also what about the electric extend and retract? Does this allow that type of mirror or only manual extend? And does it work for heated mirror as well? I'd also need a button on the inside of my truck for the extend, correct?
Hi , this harness will make all lighting work even if you don’t have electric mirrors . As long as your truck is built after 08/14 .
Power extend does not exist for 14-18 GM.

I bought other tow mirrors, but for the switchback light the 3 wires aren’t pinned to anything. So For you guys tow mirror switchback option, are the switchback wires pinned to the door harness or somewhere else ?
Hi , this wiring harness provides power to the mirror for the running lights and turn signals to work . If you install the switchbacks correctly they will also work.

Hi there! I wired evrything just like you did in the video but only some of my light functions are working. The only difference is my truck is a 2018 2500... but it looked exactly the same when I put the pins in. Any advice?
