Best review I’ve seen yet. My friend told me about these burners today, so I’ve been studying them. They are not particularly cheap, but they are safe and the XL is perfect for my outdoor tabletop. I’ll make, or buy, a heat diffuser and I’ll put a stepping stone under the burner, when I eventually get one. Cheers!
Thanks! I’m glad you got something out of it. I really enjoy mine when I’m out by the grill or smoker. My fiancée has used it for smores a few times as well
I have a solo stove Bonfire with the heat deflector and we love it for cool nights and s'mores. Been meaning to buy some other cooking accessories for it. I just haven't yet. That mesa XL looks cool for a table top fire. Excellent review!
Made the mistake of going to Costco over the weekend, and the wife asked me if I wanted a 2 pack of these, I just told her she was crazy until we get our backyard setup better. How long did it end up burning for?
45 min to an hour until it went out. So this will burn through pellets if you run it all evening. I definitely am pleased with it. I probably would have bought that 2 pack if I knew it existed before I ordered mine.
I can keep it going with pellets if I’m sitting right by it. Using stick it burns through them really quickly. Using little pieces of kindling feels like the best longer time burn I can maintain.
It hasn’t been “hot” out in New England in the evenings yet so we have really enjoyed the deflector. This particular solo stove really doesn’t put out much heat to the sides. So it’s really worth it for the deflector. That said it’ll never be super warm so if you are some here really cold the deflector isn’t going to keep you warm like a big bonfire
I haven’t tried heating pellets but I imagine you are correct. They are made to be pretty efficient. I just have a ton of cooking pellets around all the time
This is a tough question. I mean its still a fire so its going to produce clear smoke and carbon monoxide. If your area is high ceilinged and there is plenty of airflow maybe, but it really depends on your specific situation. It is also a fire, so have to make sure it wont burn the structure down too.
What do you guys think. Worthy addition to the backyard table?

Bro this thing is cool! I need to get one!
I love it. weve been running it on these warm spring nights out back while cooking or just hanging out. Definitely pleased with it!

Awesome. The bonfire is sweet! Will have to get a much bigger one once we move to a place with a bigger backyard.

these are great on the first burn but crap after that - so tricky to maintain a good flame and burn one the first one has waned

Please provide a correct url for the cooking grate. Thanks! 👍
Done! My bad, Looks like i posted the same link twice
Do you think the heat reflector is worth to get it?

Going on #5 trying to get one that isn't all scratched up. Sooner or later it'll happen.
Wow. I’m sure that’s extremely frustrating. Maybe buy one from a store so you can check it out first
Wood pellets burn down to 99% ash less if you leave it go overnight. Heating pellets are a better deal IMO other than perhaps grilling food

Is it okay under a Gazebo?

Why do reviewers always say the item then say itself? Idk why it annoys me lol 😂 good video though
