- As you know I use a Dual PC Streaming Set Up to get the best quality possibly for my Twitch Streams. However, When ApexDesk reached out to send me their new Vortex M 55" Standing Desk for review, I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to test the New Nvenc Encoder on my MSI Ventus 3080! The results were actually more surprising than I realized.

What do you think? Will single pc set ups be able to eventually do what dual PC can? Also as a side note, the cable management tray for the desk is sold separately! This was just a courtesy they did for me since the desk had a machining error!

First off I really enjoy your videos man, I recently started my own youtube/twitch journey and I've used quite a bit of your videos to help get things up and running. With that said I personally use a single PC setup and during a 3+ hours stream the most frames ill lose are roughly .1% streaming at 1080p while also recording at 1440p. Now I do run a 3080 TI but they aren't worlds ahead of the traditional 3080. I wonder how your experience would change using a more updated driver.
Thats actually incredibly surprising that you can play at 1440, record at 1440 AND stream at 1080 with no lag at all. I did a few solo pc streams this past week streaming at 936p60 on performance new nvenc, Apex legends MIN settings and still constantly overloaded the encoder on a 16 sample downscaler. Id love to talk more about this if you want to hop in the discord!
@@P1xelPerfect well I play and stream in 1080. I upscale my recordings to 1440 for youtube but definitely man I'll be in there 👍.

So big question I'm going to buy a: 3090ti 12900k 32gb ddr5 6000mhz z690-e with a 2tb ssd firecuda and a 2tb hdd with a 360mm ek Triple fan AIO. Will I have issues streaming off one pc?

I use a single pc setup the first thing I do is run obs as administrator. The next thing is set the gpu to max performance and bit rate to 6000 run it on high not main. On 1080. I have a i9 10900k and asus rog strix 1080ti. And this works perfectly. If u don't have a i9 or ryzen 9 I wouldn't even do a single pc setup as you setup would struggle even with a rtx card.

@@alekcena thanks! Yes I got everything up and running and I'm able to stream tarkov on ultra graphics on discord and twitch at the same time and its just butter
