Wednesday was my last treatment. Cancer free!!! Blood cancer. Other than me gaining 43lbs in 3 months from the chemo and steroids and all the other things, and inflammation in my lower back and pain, I'm doing great! So valid to hear you're doing good!!

I have generic Sickle Cell Anemia and I get all the symptoms you mentioned plus, severe pain crises here and there, we have short span life and all we can we do is stay positive and pray for each others.
I was diagnosed with cancer (and I whupped it) in 2016. I stopped drinking coffee and replaced it with pure organic cacao... lots of iron, magnesium etc. I quit sugar (fructose excepted). I was overweight at diagnosis and since then got down to ideal body weight. When I attended appointments I often got comments from nurses that my health seemed to be much improved even though the cancer was not yet eradicated. . . " you're the fittest cancer patient I've come across". . " have you been having your 5 a day?" .. yes, I had 11 for breakfast. Cancer now gone (touch wood) and I feel great. Just making this comment to say things can get better. 71 this week, feel as good as my 50s. (and I was fit as .... at 50). All the best Jay.. and everyone.
Congrats on overcoming so much serious stuff! In my experience, overcoming adversity is no coincidence-I'm sure you've sweat plenty of blood and tears and never gave up, even when it seemed hopeless. Good job and thanks for being willing to share.
As a cancer survivor I relate to health scares. I had whipple surgery, so lost part of my pancreas, gallbladder, and some of my liver. Made it 2 years so far and in the best physical shape I have been in for the last 20 years. Glad to hear that figured it out and it was treatable!
I hope you stay healthy!!! And yep, me too! I have one incurable disease already, and a kind of shitty life because of it, and then: Cancer! Thank goodness for radiation, and science for that matter, and I got to be bombarded with radiation, which is something I worked with as a wave tech engineer for science for a while, making spectrometers and all kinds of custom stuff for very prestigious labs the world over. I knew what people think is kind of far out and way exaggerated (bad quantification due to large numbers meaning very little in the grand scheme of things), got blasted a few times knowing it is nowhere near as dangerous as people think, and so far so good! The tumor couldn't take it, but I sure could, I came in, laid down, held still for 5 minutes, and was done, and didn't feel a thing, and have to say was much better than loosing both upper lung lobes as the surgeon suggestedhe could remove right quick and I'd only have a 2 month recovery time, and many possible complications, my least favorite: Dying on the OR table! I was actually all into the treatment too 🤓and taught the radiologists, and radiation techs stuff about their equipment they didn't know.
Jayztwocents is a channel that I have watched for years I’ve struggled with abuse as a kid and teenager and these videos were an escape for me I’m 25 now ever since I started watching this channel all I’ve ever wanted to do was get into tech and the end goal dream was to one day work for jay phil and nick the three that I’ve watched grow as well as myself
As a 1-year post bypass patient on my own journey (400lbs to 255lbs so far), this is really informative about the long term complications and dangers. Wishing you all the best Jay.
So happy to hear you are doing better! *hugs* I really suggest you watch Adam Savage's Tested shop videos on best practices as far as setting up a new shop. I know you are in different fields but his years and years of experience are invaluable for people setting up new shop areas.
Our bodies are weird. Wish yours would just settle down (hopefully it will for a good long while!) Hope you can get things up quickly with the new space!
You are 9 years older than me, just like my brother. He recently said, "Take real care of yourself. I can't explain it, but from 30 to 40, it's like you fall into a portal and everything goes downhill." He recommended that I get comprehensive blood tests, allergy tests, check my heart health, assess my sleep quality, and also consider therapy to reduce stress and anxiety.
If you gents are getting into CNC stuff, I would 1000% buy JayzTwoCents watercooling products. This channel is the reason I made the move to watercooling - wouldn't have done it without you guys being around, so here's to many more years to come 🍻
Thanks for telling this story. My wife is going through the exact same thing with a very similar history. I just showed this to her because I haven't heard anyone else before that can relate to her condition...
Gastric bypass has far too many downsides medically to be worth it for anyone. My father ended up with complications at about 12 years after gastric bypass and a duodenal switch later on. The complications and absorption difficulties of medications meant that treating him was shooting in the dark medically speaking. He ended up passing after 3 years of battling with complications. Anyone that is thinking of gastric bypass please reconsider. Even Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN has banned them due to unforeseen complications. Good luck Jay hopefully your story is better than my fathers.
it really depends on which one you do and making sure you do the research before hand. but gastric bypass is not something you use as a cheat code for losing weight, it's a last resort after multiple years of proper diet and exercise is showing no health benefits but it's still not a guaranteed thing either. one mistake i see a lot of people make after the surgery is thinking they can continue to eat the same junk they were eating before and not taking the proper supplements to compensate for the reduced nutrient absorption. just because what you buy says it's a supplement doesn't actually mean what's on the label is actually in it since supplements are not regulated in the US. you need to heavily research that crap. end of the day you need to weight the risks vs the benefits, if your weight is causing medical issues that are far harder to control, e.g. family/personal history of heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, back issues, etc. are the potential risks from the surger later on down the road worth it over having at any moment a heart attack, stroke, crippling arthritis, etc. don't just have the surgery because you're X weight and you want to be Y weight without any of the work and see multiple specialists before you decide to do it.
I am a fulltime caregiver for my mother who suffers from progressive multiple sclerosis, been by her side for 14 years and will continue to be till the end. So I know all to well the hardships of poor health and I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery/progress. 🙏
Great to hear you are on the mend and your company is growing. Your channel is the space for a new generation of builders, much like ZDTV/TechTV was for me. Their shows gave me the confidence for my first PC build and you are doing the same for people today. Thanks!
To be as honest as I can be, I have to say that I have always watched your videos for your knowledge, great personality, and general entertainment. I have never noticed your weight and was shocked to hear you say that you had an issue with it. I'm glad you are feeling better, and congratulations on your positive progress! Keep up the great work and please don't retire! We will miss you!
I've noticed it over the years. 2014 vs 2024 Jay shows.. but I was surprised that he mentions getting comments. I guess because I read the first 5 comments I've never noticed it.
I also never really noticed it until my hubby told me he used to be much larger. Now I notice a bit on occasion, but it's definitely not my focus. I'm glad he's on a good path health wise, on top of him being my favorite tech channel, he's got a wife and kids who need him.
I’m very glad your health is going great! That being said please DO NOT retire or quit! There is only 1 Jayztwocents who does jayztwocents things. Please stay ❤
While I understand you trying to be encouraging. I'd rather he look after himself and not kill himself for UA-cam. While it'll suck and be sad when he retires from this platform it's important to allow creators to quit when they feel it's the right choice for their wellbeing. Creative burn out is rough and it's hard to keep up the online persona and be the passionate PC guy when you have no love for the job. Viewers can and will notice if a creator doesn't have their heart in it anymore. Which lowers the entertainment value.
In 2022 I had a bad back and went to doctors and found out I have bone marrow cancer so now I have problems with low energy, bone pain and slow weight gain and the pains are really hard to explain along with the struggle with treatments, iron and everything as my body cant make blood properly so I am always anaemic now. Glad to hear its not cancer as I know how bad a blood cancer can be and happy to hear you are getting better.
Can you explain his backstory? I tried Google and just didn't get it. How did he become so well known over getting scammed? Why does he have so many subs but has almost no videos.@@stonkyboy7606
I have Hemochromatosis (the opposite of your issue), and my count hasn't dropped much below 1000 and as high as 2800, and that's over nearing two decades. Blood tests every Monday or Tuesday to get a 500ml taken every Thursday or Friday... for over 10 years. High iron makes organs fail if not addressed, I could (can) sleep 12 hours and go back to sleep without issue. It's amazing how the body needs so many things just right to function. But we need to do so little to let the body do what it needs to. (If you're lucky enough to have a fully functional body.) Eat well, sleep well, get some exercise, keep your mind active, and your systems take care of the rest. Take care of yourselves, everyone. ❤
So stoked to hear treatment is working. My wife had iron deficiency recently that took a while to get diagnosed. It wasn't as extreme as this, but I can confirm even that level was debilitating and affects every part of your life, all day, every day. I can't imagine what iron deficiency as severe as this feels like. But it's even harder to imagine keeping up with the gym through it all. What a machine.
So I am actually in a similar boat thanks to this video. Mine was iron and Hemoglobin levels due to hemmorhoids. I have a surgery in the next two weeks and I have another blood transfusion on Monday. I got two bags yesterday, I go in for a follow up panel tomorrow, if my hemoglobin and iron are holding steady I get two bags Monday if they're not I get 3-4 tomorrow. This video encouraged me to reach out to my primary and schedule a panel rather then ignoring the symptoms, they were happening so slowly I didn't realize I was in danger. I ended up getting a call yesterday that my panel came back(about 12hours after I went in) and my doctor told me I likely wouldn't have made it to morning(hemoglobin of less than five, currently at a 7 after my transfusion yesterday). So THANK YOU JAY, literally saved my life.
Had several iron infusions about 14 years ago, experience everything you did, but wow, it felt good, went from really fatigued to suddenly feeling like superman. Huge improvements before initially getting my condition controlled. Good to hear you are feeling better.
Just to note, ferritin of 30-70 can still be iron deficiency. You want it to be minimum of 125, and keep it there for at least 6 months. So 131 is great. It’s a matter of keeping it there now. When it comes to iron, it takes the body around 3-6 months to get fully used to new ferritin levels.
Are you familiar with the iron protocol? Curious if he in part had some hypophosphatemia after the iron infusion. Injectefer is the top iv Iron that people experience this after.
So happy for you Jay. I have been going through similar with my recent Diabetes diagnosis. I went from 200 lbs to 150lbs and am now back to normal with no more diabetic symptoms, and back to 170s again. You are doing the work and putting in the time, and you deserve all the credit for getting this on track.
Hey. My wife has T1D and she's had extremely beneficial results by switching to a mostly vegetarian diet. She eats chicken and fish very occasionally. Her blood markers, cholesterol and kidney function related numbers all improved so much more than with medication it's crazy. From what you mention I assume you're Type 2, and it does seem to help tremendously with T2D as well. Just wanted to give a shout out since you've been recently diagnosed and she's just found this out after more than a decade of trying things out. Best of luck!
@@diegoleiva7242 Your wife probably has type 2 diabetes, not type 1. Typically, people are born with type 1, but it can show up in adults since it's an autoimmune issue.
@@Slaggo Oh, I know you mean well but trust me, she's T1D. She's insulin dependant and her condition started out when she was a skinny, active 13 y/o. Folks with T2D do not require insulin injections and they usually get it later in life due to sedentarism and poor diets, from what I understand. I'm not too well informed about T2D but I sure do know my T1D upside down.
I am T2D and I require insulin. Saying T1D is the type of diabetes that requires insulin is incorrect. Also saying that T2D is caused by lack of activity is incorrect. I was extremely active when I was diagnosed. I was then a competitive power lifter, not sedentary.
Hey Jay! Love your channel. My favorite on UA-cam! I'm happy for you and your health update! Quick note. I went from 596 down to 385. I built 3 computers and am now water cooling my first. All knowledge and inspiration I have came from you! Keep up the great work yall are doing!
Agree, seeing no progress for success and got semi-permanent punishment for the mistake is not a good way to encourage deligent behavior . It's good that you've recovered from that, I'll be waiting to see the moving vlog
Emma, I sincerely hope that you are treated well by pain physicians. Far too many people with chronic pain are treated horribly. Hope you can find some relief!

It will be 6 months on July 6th that i was admitted and diagnosed with a sugar level of 936. Diabetes has the same symptoms you went through, found out through blood testing. Lost 50 pounds in 45 days, 30 pounds of it in the last 14 days before i went to the hospital, now i have to live with the complications that the Acidosis di to my body! S tay healthy Brother.

I'm glad that jay is coming around. But I didn't pray, because praying to some man made fairy tale god hasn't helped anyone in history, ever.... (too bad the religious indoctrination is still strong in the US)
Great to hear the good health news. The change to your energy and enthusiasm has been apparent and great to see. Good luck with the expansion and please keep the positivity. The glass is half full and there is a silver lining.
Thalassemia is a harsh taskmaster. My mil (with Portuguese ancestry) had it (T-minor) all her life. It damaged her kidneys and she was on a waiting list for years and years. She had to do transfusions for those years until she finally got a match. It was awful. Once she had surgery, she was right as rain. If you take good care of yourself, don't blow it off when your body is hurting, even if you can muscle through it day to day, that's not a healthy state. Go to the doctor, they want to help.
You're not sympathy seeking Jay. You built a platform that people are vested in and so when people hear your health is becoming an issue, of course we're all going to hope for the best and be curious because, we're all vested in this channel and the ones working on this channel. You have over 4million people who all care for and about all of you. It's great to see the improvements made in your health, tomorrow it will get even better.

Hey! I'm glad you found a safe place to be, so sorry for the overwhelming things you're dealing with. Someone much wiser than me once said "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". Hang in there! Sometimes things get better. It's too easy for good people to feel responsible for the bad decisions people close to us make, but it's healthy to put your own welfare as a priority and make sure you are okay. Take care of yourself!
Just stay here with us mate. People go but other people step into your life everyday; good things turn to shit but when you drive through it there's at least 80% of the tire still clean and the next rain will wash it back to 100. Keep ya head up!
Wow Jay, a whole new level of respect. You've been thru hell and you came back and told us about it. Very articulate, you are a master of explaining the things you went thru. Your metaphors were spot on. I understood everything and tied it all together. Well done. Respect dude. Hang in there... Be well...
You were one of my inspirations for losing weight bro, I went from 420 to 240 and I’m still trying to drop more but you were definitely an inspiration. So when I seen you gaining weight I knew something was up. Haven’t seen ur vids in a min but the last one seen there was a cancer scare. Really glad to hear you doing better and have a diagnosis that isn’t cancer. Keep it up, you got this Jay.
Jay, I am so happy you found the root cause of your aliments and glad you're finally on the right track. I cannot stress enough how important it is for people to advocate for their own health and wellbeing. No one knows your body better than you, and it is shocking how often these blood panels aren't being done by doctors. It took me 10 years to find a doctor who listened and suggested we do a full blood panel and discovered I have an immune issue causing a thyroid issue causing all my aliments. People wake up and fight for your own health. Especially if you're in America.
As somebody who has Thalassemia, and several Primary Immune Deficiency conditions, one of which requires me to have weekly immunoglobulin infusions I know what you went through, both physically and mentally. Glad to hear that you are on the up and hopefully you will never reach those lows again.
I'm very happy to hear you are getting better, I had a similar situation at the beginning of last year. I ended up spending 9 weeks in intensive care with liver failure after ignoring little signs for a long time, I am now back at work and feeling better than I have in years. A good message to all is to not ignore the little things, sometimes there is an underlying issue that can end up very serious but could have been treated easily to begin with. Can't wait to see the new studio build series.
You should get a rail system hanging just below the ceiling, to attach lighting and other studio things too. It'll keep clutter off the ground and be much more organized!
Hey Jay and everyone else, I am excited about the new changes to the channel and hope you succeed in your endeavors. Personally, I had similar symptoms: I had zero energy and could fall asleep on the job, in a meeting, etc. It turned out to be sleep deprivation from sleep apnea. I suffer from severe sleep apnea, and as a result, it kept me awake all night. I was woken up from sleep 90 times a minute, which resulted in no deep sleep. That also resulted in problems oxygenating my blood, and I was seriously close to heart failure. I now received a CPAP machine to sleep with, and I can stay awake all day. My blood tests are better-not perfect yet, but better-and I could see results after a few nights of sleep. If anyone suspects that they suffer from sleep apnea, I suggest talking with your doctor. It can have serious consequences on your life if left untreated.
If you are open for a bit of advice, try changing your pans and pots for cast iron ones! They are durable, non toxic, and worst case scenario they can only leak iron into your food, which might do you well!
You know Jay's feeling a lot healthier when at the end of the video he's focusing on the positive, which actually seems like a massive change. (Ima talk about you/jay in a third person way just in case you never read this) but his interactions on Twitter would often seem, maybe not aggressive, but constantly frustrated and annoyed, FOR YEARS. I have a feeling this improved health will also help you in being more motivated and happier to talk to people. It's good to see. And to be real, it's just nice to see a health update video from my favorite creators that AREN'T a diagnosis of cancer. You've handled the transparency well in not sharing the possibilities, but not focusing on the possibilities more than they needed to be focused on. Major Kudos.
Mike Kelly here, just want to convey that I'm glad you're getting better(healthy) and as a long time subscriber(I believe you had approx. 1M subs at the time) wishing you the best and look forward to the move into the new facility and the videos you, Nick and Phil will create for us. Take care.
for brackets and other small stuff. you can get a bridgeport or bridgeport knockoff(acra, ect). they typically have a digital readout, or DRO with some capable of a CNC control. its small enough that you can easily fit it inside a small garage or shed, but insanely capable for a mill of its size. most tabletop machines wont be rigid enough to work on metals and not take hours, they'll also be spinning up crazy high and be crazy loud and use very small tools, limiting what you can machine out of a large space if you need to. the type of mill you should look for, is in the category of knee mill. any machine shop worth its salt that you walk into, will have a bridgeport style machine somewhere in it. for turning metals, just a basic engine lathe from the 40's or 50's thats small. something an old machine shop either no longer wants/needs, it'll cost more to move it than it costs to buy it. they're heavy, but again, very capable. again, most small lathes will do for softer materials, but if you plan on cutting bronze, steel, stainless, ect. you're going to want a bigger machine. rigidity is not high on those smaller machines. just remember, any lathe you get thats of decent size, do NOT wear loose clothing around it. its more than capable of cutting metal, its more than capable of pulling you into it, and turning you into a red pile of goo.
This random Swede is cheering for you guys! \m/ Also, I dont even know how many years Ive been watching your channel but it has been a hot minute :P Keep on trucking :D
I can feel your pain, because I have a nerve disease that affects everything, including CFS, I am constantly tired. But the difference with me is that they can only give medication and live from day to day. Because tomorrow I could have a severe attack of pain, and at those times morphine is my best friend. And my wife and I run two businesses, a large studio and a PC shop. Not easy with that kind of disease. I'm glad they can help you. Stay strong.
Dealing with CFS myself I can't even comprehend how you're coping with that on top of everything else. Sounds like you've got fantastic support though. I know my family and community are what keep me going in the toughest times. Stay strong yourself mate 🤎
As a cancer survivor when I was the age of 15, I get how all the bloodwork stuff can go and how things can effect you, Very happy to hear you are doing better, and hope you keep improving. Love the vids, keep it up.
I've had CT scans, an MRI, a full blood panel, a colonoscopy, an endoscopy, a bone marrow biopsy, urinalysis, multiple mass removals. No doctor can figure out what is wrong with me. All they are sure of is that there is something. Sometimes you don't get to know.
Went through this till I ended up running into a doctor that was there to figure it out for me. Ended up finding out I have Crohn's Disease with many other acute chronic IBS Diseases as well. What is great is that all the treatments for Crohn's works for a lot of IBS Diseases. The guy is still fighting for me to get the treatment program I actually need to be passed by my insurance. It might take a while but when you find a knowledge doctor that is there for your own good, you will be goodd
@@the_maker1841 i was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis last month, thankfully they were able to figure it out quickly after telling them my symptoms (i left it way too long to go to the doctors because they were embarrasing), hopefully you get the treatment you needed
Glad to hear positive news. My family has been through a fair share of medical issues so I know how difficult that can be to deal with. I'll be praying for you and your family. Thanks for making awesome content for computer nerds like us.
I have lived with pernicious anemia for the last 25 years. Older now and my health starting to go backwards I can understand your pain good luck with the recovery.
Great to hear you are feeling better, Jay. Regarding setting up a shop, the centerpiece will almost certainly be a CNC milling machine of some sort. I have a Tormach--PCNC 770, to be precise. This is kind of the minimum starting point, and I can say that it's infinitely better than nothing, but it has limitations. It's too flexible (not in the good way) to get the precision and surface finish I sometimes want. That said, for basic prototyping, it's great. But if I had budget, room and power for something more, I would probably be looking at the entry level machines from Syil and Haas. Doubly so if you are thinking of going beyond prototyping to doing your own manufacturing--the Tormach doesn't have the speed or power to do anything but the lightest manufacturing.
When you mentioned that you had your gallbladder out, my wife had the same procedure. I don't know if this is an issue for you but maybe it could help someone else who does. Unfortunately for her she was having an allergic reaction to dairy, not even on the radar to look at. The test they did for the gallbladder showed an infraction rate to say it needs to come out. The sad side after affect is she couldn't go out of the house without knowing where the next bathroom would be. This went on for a few years when finally someone mentioned Welchol in a capsule form. It's used to lower cholesterol. Life changing!!! Now she feels normal again not having to plan where the next bathroom is going to be. Glad I found your channel, definitely top production value. Happy you are better and have good doctors around you.
It is wild that you are having these blood issues. My wife has ITP (Immune thrombocytopenic purpura), she was diagnosed with it about a year ago. She also gets weekly injections from the Oncologist. She is still fighting it, at the beginning she had only 50 platelets. Currently she's at about 270 platelets. I hope you continue to make good progress on being healthier.
Courageous of you to speak about this openly. Great to hear you are doing better. And also, I really suggest taking care of your health in the 40s. I started running like crazy, and I'm super fit suddenly. And I eat better, feel better, drink zero alcohol etc. Everything just feels so much better in life. Normal food also tastes excellent now.
Glad to have you back to your old self. My gf went through a similar experience, she started to lose weight, became severely anemic, whatever she ate would just go straigh through her to the point that her iron levels were at 1.02 when they were supposed to be 13-18, she would go up 5 steps and feel like she would faint and like you said the blood test kept going until figuring out what it was. In her case it was colitis, which got fixed by simply changing the food she eats to not irritate her bowels and a couple of dosages of iron transfussions.
Glad to hear it wasn't cancer and was something very treatable. I'm a med lab scientist so I understand exactly what you are talking about and you did a very good job of explaining it all.
I remember when you originally mentioned this, my father too was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was in remission for several years, but that ended and he never told anyone. Unfortunately he passed away on May 5th of this year. We would get together every sprint cup NASCAR race to watch. I never cared for it but it meant something to him so I was happy to sit along with him. He showed up a day early and it was really weird, he just watched the Jr NASCAR race about 7pm and asked if he could crash here for the night. He was gone the next morning and never showed up for the race, it was rare for him but it did happen occasionally. I figured he was probably having a good day fishing or something as he loved to do that. We found out he passed away that day, and I feel bad I didn't watch that Jr race with him. He's never watched it before and I didn't care for them I was honestly enjoying myself having fun playing a game. My last memory of him was him sitting in my recliner watching race as I grabbed a drink from the fridge. I regret not spending more time with him.

Excellent news! You can do lots to improve your body's health even when it's health isn't great. Hoping for life long remission for you!
Congrats on beating cancer that’s awesome
@@glynnsmith4560 Wow! You are an inspiration.
You so strong
Glad you're here✌️😃
Wow dude, your very fortunate! Great job getting through all that
Jayztwocents is a channel that I have watched for years I’ve struggled with abuse as a kid and teenager and these videos were an escape for me I’m 25 now ever since I started watching this channel all I’ve ever wanted to do was get into tech and the end goal dream was to one day work for jay phil and nick the three that I’ve watched grow as well as myself
Running a full blood panel is a great start if you feel you have problems. Talk to your doctors. Glad you're doing better Jay.
seriously, don't be afraid to tell your doctor what you need or ask for a new one if they don't listen
There is something to be said for over testing though.
@@wpgspecb Not rly No.
Had a doctor in the Family for 25 Years, until she passed away..
It depends i suppose. Once a year should be ok.
@@Preske Yeah, it depends who you are, what you do, etc.. more often would benefit some people
As a 1-year post bypass patient on my own journey (400lbs to 255lbs so far), this is really informative about the long term complications and dangers.
Wishing you all the best Jay.
Keep up the good work! Get your bloodwork, check your hair/scalp health, and make sure exercise becomes a part of your lifestyle, not just a habit.
YOU CAN DO IT! 💪
Dude, congrats! That's awesome. Stick with it man. Getting healthy ain't no joke...but sooo worth it for you abd your family.
That's awesome congrats on the hard work :).
Yup, same here, 7 months in, 205KG->130KG
As a hematology patient myself who is also in a good place right now, I'm super happy that you're doing well, Jay.
Sucks doesn't it, I'm a rheumatology patient for the last 2 year and they still don't have a clue. Glad both you guys are doing well.
@@OrbitalRocI'm in a similar position, so I understand where you're coming from. I am being seen by rheumatology and haematology.
So happy to hear you are doing better! *hugs* I really suggest you watch Adam Savage's Tested shop videos on best practices as far as setting up a new shop. I know you are in different fields but his years and years of experience are invaluable for people setting up new shop areas.
Better yet a collaboration video/ set up with both personalities. I do believe they’re both somewhat local to each other also.
i was just watching Adam’s videos before coming to this one 😂 crazy
Our bodies are weird. Wish yours would just settle down (hopefully it will for a good long while!) Hope you can get things up quickly with the new space!
You are 9 years older than me, just like my brother. He recently said, "Take real care of yourself. I can't explain it, but from 30 to 40, it's like you fall into a portal and everything goes downhill." He recommended that I get comprehensive blood tests, allergy tests, check my heart health, assess my sleep quality, and also consider therapy to reduce stress and anxiety.
Thanks for being so open and honest Jay, you opening up like this will help me and others get up and get health checks.
Mayo Clinic definitely hasn’t banned gastric bypass! :)

Moving? Must watch
I loved the moving video's they had when they went into the there new space
Praise the Lord!
I’m very glad your health is going great!
That being said please DO NOT retire or quit! There is only 1 Jayztwocents who does jayztwocents things.
Please stay ❤
Nah if he's sick I'd rather him be healthy than die for UA-cam, let UA-camrs quit

give blood that will lower iron levels,,,,I had hemochromatosis, worked for me
I have hemochromotosis also. I dontate blood every 2 months to keep my levels lower
I suffer from anemia. It runs in my family. So I understand how you felt. Good luck on your health and your business ventures.
Has to be a massive relief to not only have an answer, but a better understanding of your body specifically.
Praying for you, The Lord Jesus bless you and your family🙏

It will be 6 months on July 6th that i was admitted and diagnosed with a sugar level of 936. Diabetes has the same symptoms you went through, found out through blood testing.
Hey! I'm glad you found a safe place to be, so sorry for the overwhelming things you're dealing with. Someone much wiser than me once said "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". Hang in there! Sometimes things get better.
Good to hear you're on a path out of all of that. At your own pace, Jay!👍🙏🇦🇺
So you just ran a benchmark on yourself?
Looks like his blood is the bottleneck.
You should get a rail system hanging just below the ceiling, to attach lighting and other studio things too. It'll keep clutter off the ground and be much more organized!
You’re the man, Jay. Glad to hear everything is trending positively, and I love the detailed approach to your health.
Hey Jay and everyone else,
I am excited about the new changes to the channel and hope you succeed in your endeavors.
Glad you're open to sharing your story and that youre getting better!
Very revealing and open. Thank you, Jay. Getting to good health and staying there can be a battle for some of us.

Take care.
ASUS blood - that's awesome, I can't stop laughing !!
for brackets and other small stuff. you can get a bridgeport or bridgeport knockoff(acra, ect). they typically have a digital readout, or DRO with some capable of a CNC control. its small enough that you can easily fit it inside a small garage or shed, but insanely capable for a mill of its size. most tabletop machines wont be rigid enough to work on metals and not take hours, they'll also be spinning up crazy high and be crazy loud and use very small tools, limiting what you can machine out of a large space if you need to.
the type of mill you should look for, is in the category of knee mill. any machine shop worth its salt that you walk into, will have a bridgeport style machine somewhere in it.
for turning metals, just a basic engine lathe from the 40's or 50's thats small. something an old machine shop either no longer wants/needs, it'll cost more to move it than it costs to buy it. they're heavy, but again, very capable. again, most small lathes will do for softer materials, but if you plan on cutting bronze, steel, stainless, ect. you're going to want a bigger machine. rigidity is not high on those smaller machines.
just remember, any lathe you get thats of decent size, do NOT wear loose clothing around it. its more than capable of cutting metal, its more than capable of pulling you into it, and turning you into a red pile of goo.

No doctor can figure out what is wrong with me. All they are sure of is that there is something. Sometimes you don't get to know.
In my experience, it can help to try and go to a doctor from a prestigious hospital somewhere else in the country.
Its might be something knew and it could end up being named after you.
Went through this till I ended up running into a doctor that was there to figure it out for me. Ended up finding out I have Crohn's Disease with many other acute chronic IBS Diseases as well. What is great is that all the treatments for Crohn's works for a lot of IBS Diseases. The guy is still fighting for me to get the treatment program I actually need to be passed by my insurance.

as someone who worked in primary care for 10 years. EVERYONE has bloodwork with a few reds. Its just a matter of which ones exactly and how much off
Blood went from Amd to Nvidia
Hi, I find it super that you dare to talk about it on UA-cam and that you dare to say that you had a depression. Thanks for that.
Glad to hear the good news on your health and future for your company. God bless you.
Glad you're on the mend, Jay. I'm more than a little jealous that your doctors were willing to work so hard to help you. That's just so rare.
