was binge watching a ton of your videos just today :) i had just finished watching your review of the MG Epyon and I'm glad to see you're doing a review on the RG Epyon! thanks for all your great work as usual
I don't do RGs very often, but I may need to make an exception. That is one gorgeous, gorgeous kit. Also, honestly? One of my favorite transformed modes of any Gundam. I like that it feels more involved than "turn your waist and lie on your tummy" without being TOO complicated.
Dude the newer rgs are amazing everything from the rg #25 unicorn, they are just mini mg. The annoying frame is gone in place of the mg style frame. Id deff say give them a try.
I wouldve settled for an HG of the tv version of the Epyon, getting a real grade made me extremely happy. Wonder if they'll do a TV Zero to go with it.
Nothing wrong with being bias to a suit that you love Jab. I myself am bias to the Tallgeese 3. I have all 4 MG of the Tallgeese, but I will always love the design of the 3 over the others. Sometimes a suit just hits you in a way that you just can't explain.
you mentioned the rg gold astray as best rg, though i thought you gave the title to the rg hi nu? honestly curious how you feel this compares to that one
i like the amatsu mina as well but yeah on an engineering level the hi nu is far better. Will say tho Amatsu Mina probably has the best gloss black ive ever seen though for bare plastic.
@1Yea, I've been meaning to get the amatsu mina since I never experienced an "early real grade" yet, and that one is just more interesting than the rest of em to me. Though the Epyon and hi-nu are also really cool, so hard choices (I did build the rg nu, so I def know I'll like the hi-nu). I will say: hi-nu having a forarm swivel does make me regret getting the nu first, since that's one part I really am sad about on the regular nu: hard to rotate the arm in such a way to grab the beam saber cleanly. The wings also grew on me.
@@dsharp2521 That is NOT an opening gimmick, nothing like the katoki's design. The wings are just a huge block doing nothing except revealing that tiny ugly wings

I saw this review was up literally seconds after it was posted. I really could tell that this one was a love letter to the Epyon. I loved it.

Good to see the RG line isn't getting stale. This looks like a fantastic kit
Finally! The only review Im waiting for before buying this kit! Thanks Jabman!
Gonna have to get one of these. My very first kit, was a Master Grade Epyon ❤
I just picked up RG Epyon today! I can't wait to build it & pose it with Wing Zero 😁
Ok, the panels on the shoulder is what Ive been saying they should have done with the ZZ Gundam kits.
the beam saber is just a call back to the early RGs, that also came with the comically oversized 1/100 beams.
at least as far as I'm concerned

You love to see it.
Don't like the design as much as the Endless Waltz MG but other than that this is an amazing design!
Better than the Hi Nu?? Wow
Did you get the one that was in the p bandai store ?

Weirdly I like the dragon mode more.
Giving this kit 5 stars isn't enough.
The wing design is a deal breaker for me, no open gimmick no nothing. The MG ver ka design looks much better. But RG is overall a better kit IMO
Did you watch the video? It does have an opening gimmick 3:29

This kit would have been perfect if not for the fact that the heat whip is pre-assembled. Really sucks for people who paint.
Plus, it's ABS.
why couldnt it be a mg...
lifes rough when you have to review RG's. Bandais' dropped the ball and their guts
Total gunpla noob here so I got a seemingly silly question for the community but are real grades in theory just smaller scale master grades??
in a sense yes, some the early releases of the line had a unique feel to them but more recent releases have made me call them mini-master grades
@@jabman025 appreciate it
Biased or not. It looks great
