My 7 yr old watches your videos on the way to a game. It gets him in the zone and focused on the area you talk about in your videos. Great Job!

I dont think thats a good idea...
Doingn it right before a game isn't smart. You should work on it during practice that way its natural during a game and all you have to think is, ''hit a nuke.''

I just want to say since I've started watching some of your videos my game has improved. I wasn't allowed to play sports as a kid so I missed out on a lot of the fundamentals. Thank you for putting these out.

IMO this video is spot on.. a little long but hang tight and listen. I have a lot of my kids that are doing ALL the wrong things and none of them want to change. Granted they are only 10 but I get the deer caught in the headlight look every time I try telling them to stop casting and for god sake LOAD YOUR HANDS. This simple tool as I call it worked this past weekend for kids who wouldn't load.. finally they did and at least put the bat on the ball. THANK YOU JUSTIN.

this is my opinion but Justin, I think you should do some review of bats and baseball equipment because this is my first year playing baseball and I really don't know what products are really worth it. Just maybe a consideration

Edgard Meza all preference, if I were to spend my money anywhere I'm spending it on a good glove. I have a custom Rawlings and a custom 44 glove. Pretty damn good, and that's where you should start tbh.

Equipment episode would be dope but how does he remain unbiased if for say he's only bought Nike his whole life? Or Rawlins, Mizuno etc.

Edgard Meza hey if you want a good non expensive glove get a Rawlings gold glove I have an Wilson a2000 but for your first year you don't need such a expensive glove bats depending on what league your in marucci cat 6/7 is a very good option same with the Demarini voodoo

Can you please make a video on how to cut or shorten your swing. My school team is on the verge of making the playoffs and I don't want to carry on with this flaw and potentially mess up/strikeout on some big at-bats because of my long swing. Please, and thank you.

What about grip on bat? I know a lot of people have the bat to deep in the hand, it's supposed to be in the fingers, perhaps you already have a video on that, I will have to look. another great lesson.

Justin, Tony Gwynn said before he passed is "the ONLY thing to remember is to throw the knob at the ball. All other things will fall in place." I think you initially throw the knob at the ball and then the barrel and implement everything else you said.

Hey Coach. This video is older but I love it. We have seen almost all your videos. One question that just came up from someone else was the term "Pull Back". We have your Bat Speed Accelerator program and we have learned to "walk away from our hands". What do you think about this "Pull Back" approach?

I'd love for you to touch on what to so in the off-season. I'm in PA and due to some bad weather its hard to find things for my boys to do baseball wise. My oldest is 9 and loves the game. If you could pass along anything to so during the off-season that would be great.

I have coached both boys and girls at a young age. When a child misses the hit.. most coaches and parents say KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL. cause the child did pull their head. I teach them to tell me where they hit the bat.. After awhile, they let to watch it all the way. Sometimes you can ask them and they will guess where..

  • @tonymunn

I can't hit and never learned how to properly. At 59 years old, I can't break the bad habits I self taught myself. Long swing, can't pull the ball but occasional home runs. More power to right center.
