ItsAllyn Clash of Clans Fortnite & more! Your stupid what do you mean he isn’t consistent he had a .309 average and last year with injury had a .307 and the year before that .302 .300 average is good and he consistently hits well and is good defensively so don’t say anything about my man Freddie freeman he is in my opinion the best hitter in the national league
His father made him. Coming from work 8hrs plus driving to the field and pitching his son 120 balls every night! Kudos mr freeman, my hats off to you as a father.
Hey why not just focus on the ball when doing tee work and not pretend it is being pitched? I have noticed that young players miss the ball frequently when they pretend they're looking at the pitcher instead of just focusing on the ball. When hitting live we try and see the ball the moment the ball leaves the pitcher's hand.
@@tava7886 Hi I believe I have an answer to your problem from personal experiences. When you look straight down at the ball on the tee some people will tend to get in a bad habit of leaning over towards the ball when they're swinging;therefore, they will often regurgitate that same action on the field causing them to have bad posture while they're in there attack position. I personally believe there's nothing wrong with looking down at the ball;however, kids will forget about it while they're hitting by themselves and often get in bad habits. People please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure my facts are straight. From random 14 yr old kid.
Josephic Jo you make a point, I guess every mind is different and therefore some of the things that might affect me won’t affect you. GOD Bless Brother 🙏👍⚾️
I rlly like his hitting philosophy he’s just trying to be relaxed and hit hard line drives where most guys try to hit big fly balls and they also worry to much bout launch angle
Freddie was my neighbor growing up and we played little league together. He left our T-ball team and moved to AA half way through the year because he was tearing it up and jacking everything for a homer. Natural talent and unmatched work ethic. Glad to see him succeeding as one of the game's best.
Great video, very helpful I would be lost without UA-cam. Can't afford private lessons at $50 an hour so my son and I come here and it has always worked for us. Smartest and best baseball guys in the world are all right here just a click away......just got to know what your player is doing wrong and how to grab the information and then apply it.
Everybody saying that Paul byrd is annoying. He's actually a very genuine guy. He stopped and gave me an autograph when I was a child and chatted for a bit. And he was with his wife going to dinner.
Awesome stuff. I played little league and never went any farther but I love reading about the game and watching stuff like this. Just goes to show that the game never gets old.
the interviewer was awesome in the way he asked pertinent question and paced the interview...English is not my native tongue thats why most of the time I have a hard time understanding interviews..but this interview with Freddie Freeman was not only informative..p is also entertaining...thanks so much..please let me know the name of the interviewer...im a big fan
Nathanael Lingerfelt lol ask the stadium camera guys how that works. He destroyed the glass cover with a foul ball. Nothing to do with this video I know but it was cool to watch
I remember a YES Network special on Tino Martinez and he stressed the importance of hitting off a tee also. Great video. Kids need to understand the method behind the madness. Hard work.
My son smashes inside pitches but struggles letting the outside pitches get deep , so glad to hear that even the pros have to work on it daily, we will start working these drills now , really appreciate these videos because we can’t afford lessons and I trust the info of a pro!
i have his poster from when he played for the Myrtle Beach pelicans and I got it when I was in kindergarten i still have it on my hall and I'm in 7th grade now
Ive noticed theres not many videos on bat angle when it comes to inside and outside pitches ..of course outside pitch let it get deep in the zone .. so im thinking knob of the bat is not dropped down as quik as an inside pitch??
one thing i hate doing is hitting off tees. so i bought a tee and now i use it in my warm ups to help me when i struggle to hit the ball where it is. if i am pulling outside or slicing inside the tee helps me adjust again
i can say to this day i have found i love the tee, and i found it to really help with my bat path. now in training or pre at bats i imagine having the tee set up where i want my pitch and invision my bat going to the ball cleanly. and ive hit a lot of balls flat and hard because of it
Since his front foot ain't down way too early like 99.9% of you do, he still has a way to drive hard nearly any pitch in the strike zone. Except high and in. Because staying inside the ball too long with an upper cut bat path prevents him from getting his bat on the pitch. The other 8 areas of the hitting zone he can still mash the ball with his only slightly hampered kinetic chain.
Ya know what would’ve been REALLY outstanding..? 1) if on that last swing you let’s us SEE him swing instead of just seeing him barely begin his swing and then cut to the ball on the tee and the bat coming through and hitting the ball. THAT would’ve been cool. 2) if the “Host” guy would NOT have been trying so hard to prove to the guest that he “knew shit” and just been quiet so we could listen to the guest instead of listening to the guest continually being interrupted by the Host. THAT would’ve been REALLY awesome!:)
Nothing warms my heart more than hearing a man talk about the time he spent with his father growing!
“When we finished baseball practice, everybody left and I stayed” the reason why he made it to where he is !
I just hit off a tee in the backyard everyday for probably 100-200 swings average a day.
its funny its the opposite for him now he always leaves practice early in his golf cart
No
@@rslwannabe9475 and that does nothing. You still suck.

Probably the most underrated player in baseball
jruedy01 only cause the braves are starting to get good again
How is he under rated? He's the 2nd rated 1st baseman in the league right now and a very well recognized batter

streaky. Should be hitting .320, 40HR, not .310, 20HR but goes into long power slumps.

This is something EVERY hitter at EVERY age should see and make a part of his or her routine.
Outstanding.👍😃⚾️
I rlly like his hitting philosophy he’s just trying to be relaxed and hit hard line drives where most guys try to hit big fly balls and they also worry to much bout launch angle
And that's why he's better than them. I can only imagine how many coaches have tried to get him to change that approach over the years.

Tyler Cigich what state was it in prove it
What town huh
Orange, CA North Sunrise little league at Handy Elementary. Tee ball Red Sox around 1995-96.
So he jumped from 6 yr olds to 9-10 yr olds? Was he a really big kid?
Was it good genes? Was he naturally athletic?
The world needs more people like Freddie Freeman
Great video, very helpful

Freddie seems like a humble master and he certainly has a Beautiful swing.
love his stance and his swing. One of the most underrated player in the mlb.
Every young player needs to develop this kind of swing and attitude. Freeman is a great hard working player
Now a champion.! Well deserved
Love how he said he a MVP type player now 2020 and he won NL MVP.
Love how Freddie bows his head to George Brett, referring to him as a Hall of Famer. But we all know Freddie is going to the Hall.
Super interview here for young players to understand how/why to use a tee and how/why to stay inside the baseball.
Awesome stuff. I played little league and never went any farther but I love reading about the game and watching stuff like this. Just goes to show that the game never gets old.

excellent lesson on staying inside the ball and how to do it using the tee. Freeman is one of the best in staying inside the baseball.

Such great advice that players can implement right away. Thanks Freddy
Great video. This is a player who is one of the best in the game and people should watch him.

hitting a 11" & 12" 44cor/375comp ball, is 300 ft off the tee any good? for some reason i cannot break that 300 ft barrier. 325 after the roll.
U could tell this guy was a little annoying for Freddie lol
Jonathan Brady Paul Byrd is annoying to everyone.
Ahh Freddie never gets annoyed, his just a particular star.
Btw it is Paul Byrd and Freddie does not get annoyed about talking about baseball.
I didn’t get that vibe at all
