What was your favorite highlight from Sunday's Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway?
All of it
Blaney making the playoffs
Yes except Dillion winning
The fighting in stage 1 and 2
Every part of it
When 3/4 of the field is out Dillon really has a chance. 😂😂😂
He's won before?
2018
2020
didn’t know that NASCAR had 24 hours of Daytona… thought it was just an IMSA thing… 💀
True
That's Daytona. If it was Auto Club in California it would have been called after half way.
That is the first EVERYBODY wreck I've ever seen!
That was DEFINITELY the BIG big one
I wish I’d actually seen it….no cable
There have been other wreck filled races
@@abrahamhidalgo3605 Good Lord! Really? I never noticed before.
I'm talking about that last wreck before the rain where EVERY car in the top 15, at least, wrecked and ONE car squirted through it all before the also rans in the back started coming through.
Then you should watch the 2014 race
Crazy how Blaney was barely limping around most of the race after that first wreck that almost took him out and just survingng to the end was the difference between him getting in to the playoffs.
He's The Man 🤟 Deal with it !
@@tamathawalden2037 I'm happy for him, I wanted him to get in over Truex, in fact In the end I wanted Dillon to win and Blaney to make up enough points to take the last spot, that way Truex doesn't get in, rofl.
Reminds me of Larson at the royal in 18 man had a stepped on matchbox car 😁 and somehow made it to the checkered and was able to make it in
Never give up
He got in because of the stupid DVP
The crazy exchange between commentators was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST EXCHANGE IVE EVER HEARD FOR NASCAR!!!! Please have more of those, we love to hear the conflict!!!
I like how NASCAR cut out the part where Dillon once again dumps a guy for the win
New he couldn’t race him!
rubbings racing
@@DizzyIzzy-ze6hh 1000% agree! But he didn’t rub him he moved him Because he knew if he got beside him and tried to race him he’d go backwards!
Jones in the 43, leading 22 laps, fighting for the lead many times, including late in the race. That's my highlight. The 43 leading the pack at Daytona...AWESOME.
Jones is the best thing to happen to #43 in a long time. Great driver, fairly consistent this year. Hopefully we'll see #43 in victory lane sometime next year.
@@BeazleyStudios Dude...we didn't have to wait until next year! Ain't it grand?
I've watched racing all my life never having I seen just 1 car make it through the BIG one. Note Dillon was like 16 prior to wreck....this is a first in NASCAR history!!!! 😲🤯
I would disagree. This is just the first time you've ever seen one car get thru. I've been watching NASCAR since 1999. And I can remember single cars getting through... I just can't remember any examples
Which wreck, there were 3 or more .
@@mikefleek9259 the last one where the 3 car goes below the apron to dodge the wreck apparently started by some rain falling on turn 1.
@@abrahamhidalgo3605 true but what you said first was what I was referring to 1 car out of the Big wreck initiated in the front..not referring to multiple cars.
In 2012 at the Talledega fall race the whole field wrecked on the final lap except for Matt Kenseth and a couple others in the back
The wreck right before the rain delay really ruined the end of the race
Something is seriously wrong when the 5th in points driver fails to make the playoffs. IMO the top 5 should advance at the cost of bumping an equal amount single winners who are at the bottom of the points.
Or they could just go back to the Winston cup system that most fans love and miss
I actually like this suggestion. I like the old points but it can become boring. I think the last 16 should be a total points though not a one last race for 4 cars where it's crapshoot if you will bring the best car that day and plays to strengths of a particular driver in a year whether they're strong on short tracks or mile and a halfs.
I think that they should only have a 20-22 car win and your in not 30. Or have it where top 5 in points are in with it without a win and 6th on back in points is win and your in. If that makes any sense
@@mattwilliams5773 the playoff format should stays, but just that the championship restarts after the regular season championship.
@@keenenbenton9843 that format wasn’t good there needs to be a solid amount of parity in nascar but we do need balance
Did you see Cindric! From 7th to 2nd. . . It can be done. One more lap and Cindric wins.
And he was second to last at one point after being behind Larson
That was his win. He had the car at the end and Dillon new he couldn’t race him so....
Crazy how many airborne crashes there have been this year
The 3 deserves so much better.
@Braydon223 pretty sure he means the #3 car! 🙄
Fans of Austin Dillon in the 3 are the same people that prefer the new Lynyrd Skynyrd lineup.
That was good, that was okay if you don't mind I'll use that the rest of my life for a good comeback
I was supposed to go to this race but my wife got sick so I stayed home I was born and raised and still live 20 mins west of speedway and have been to tons of races. Since I couldn't go I watched Austin Dillions on board camera all day and was watching when he went through that last wreck to take the lead and I yelled " HOW THE F DID HE GET THROUGH THAT"
This was the most race ever
This race was crazy to watch on TV and it was the main topic of conversation throughout my household all day long
So it takes the whole field to crash for Dillon to win. lol
Crazy race only 15 cars running at the end and a stage win and top 10 FOR ROWDY BUSCH
Yea it it’s a lot easier to win with only a few cars
To bad Busch didn t go out of playoffs
This race was so epic..never dissapointed ever...
Both RCR cars made the playoffs this year.
Cindric should’ve won this race, or at least not need to go from 7th to 3rd in one lap bc Austin Dillon for some reason is too stupid to just pass Cindric when he had a run instead of blatantly running into the back of him. Not to mention the help he had from his TEAMMATES, Noah and Tyler right behind him…really shows why Dillon doesn’t win much.
With any due respect to that 3 team, they have had a poor performance year compared to Kurt Busch, but Kurt has class and integrity to do the right thing.Only after 3/4 of the field is out, including ALL the top contenders, did the 3 team have a shot. The 3 team most definitely backed into the win and the chase.Theyll be right where they belong after the first round, which is back out of the chase.Few if any top 5s of top 10 finishes this year.Blaney and Truex definitely had better performance and deserved a spot over the 3 team. But,things will fix themselves after the first round. That 3 team won't get far with the way they've ran all season.
Was interesting to see the 3 and 8 battle for the win again at Daytona
Did they actually battle for the lead in the 2001 Daytona 500? I don't remember but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
battle? there wasnt a battle lol
@@UntitledNerdNetwork just team orders to keep together and make sure whoever is up front stays up front to the end.
They cut the part where the 3 blatantly wrecked a guy to win because he hasn't the talent to do it any other way
But then Austin and wrecking a guy to win at Daytona because he's too lazy to pass him cleanly is a depressing iconic duo
Let's be honest. If you were a driver, you would've done the same thing. It's Daytona, one of the most luxurious races. I would rather like to see Cindric win, but they're fighting for the win.
I love comments like this, acting like the 3 car blatantly wrecking people to win hasnt been a NASCAR tradition for 40 years thanks to old ironhead & thats the nicest prefix to -head I’ve ever called him.
He didn't wreck Cindric. Cindric was right there with the lead pack at the end, still. Austin Dillon simply rattled his cage a bit.
There was rain in the area, lightning in the area. The dark clouds were very ominous, even a water spout was spotted in the ocean off Daytona beach. And Nascar kept them racing. Inexcusable, That wreck was easily avoidable had they thrown the caution sooner. Inexcusable!!!
yea, that was pretty poor. I mean, you can even see the drops of rain on the camera, right before they crash.
All the Earnhardt fans care about is that #3 won and is in the playoffs.
Not a Dillion fan but something about seeing the number 3 win at Daytona feels right
Earnhardt Fans are STUPID
Why did you want BooBoo in
@@kevinwatkins1573 What are you talking about and who is BooBoo?
@@Chuck59ish Bubba the choosen one they would have called that race glad the 3 got id done
Wreck festival but loved every second of it!!!
An exciting race.....BUT, sad to see sooo many destroyed racecars! You have to feel bad for Truex Jr......racing can be brutal at times! Good race though!
Truex always Overrated
Races clean every week and it seemed everything was going against him all year. For him to almost make the playoffs is insane for the adversity he has faced this year
@@lamarmartin847 ....... Agreed! 👍
It’s always great to see number 3 in victory lane at Daytona.
This is why the British come watch NASCAR. Big crashes, new winner, weekly entertainment
Close racing too!
As a NASCAR fan from Europe, I can't understand why crashes are exciting. They cause harm and aren't exciting. Racing, however, is. NASCAR is not a crash entertainment, it's a racing series. If you want to see flying cars, you go to watch F1, cause crashes there are more exciting than the actual racing- it's the most boring since I started watching in 2007. No offence to your opinion, but it's just my view on this.
@@mate0s224ThYecup 🇺🇲🇺🇸 Indycar Racing Rules 🎯 The Rest are Posers ! FI Bites the Big One and Soccer ⚽ Sucks !!!
@@mate0s224ThYecup Same, it sucks when so many cars get wrecked. But the racing is very good
@@BlueCJ yes, these new cars are awesome. Fans wanted close, side by side racing and got it with the Gen 7, that's why there are so many new and different drivers winning. Shame that people still moan about anything, the sport is most interesting it's been since 2014.
Cody Ware god tier wreck avoidance skills
Nobody is talking about how not only did ware not DNF but he finished top 10. Good to see his skills of staying out of wrecks is getting better over time
he doesn't have the skills of staying out of prison though
Now that was awesome having his teammate behind him like that helping.
Why didn't they show when the 3 passed the 2? That's a highlight
Can we all take a moment to acknowledge that Cody Ware (Driver of the number 51 Chevy for Rick Ware Racing) got a top 10 finish this race?
Only tracks he can get top tens at are restrictor plate tracks. And that's when most of the field was wiped out.
There were only 9 cars left so……….
*Ford
When all the good cars wreck Austin can win.
Cant wait to see radioactive
You got the crowd screaming, it's raining, it's raining from fan videos of people who were at Daytona. One fan put the camera over to turn one when the drivers were closing in on the start finish line and you could see the track in turn one was soaked. You could see the dry concrete leading into it. The spotters were saying it was raining. But Chris Bueschers in car radio. Yikes. You really have to wonder what the heck NASCAR is thinking when you can see rain coming down in sheets right behind the grandstands and the radar speaks for itself.
Many years ago, NASCAR wouldn't have taken the chance on the weather. They would have brought the cars in to pit road and waited.
I used to drive the number 11 in the 80s never drove on a track ,just the highways.
Would have loved to have seen the restart with 21 laps to go?
The only way dillion can win...lol
Tyler with the 3 Like that side by side.. respect.
This sucks when nascar does not look at the weather during the race when there dark clouds...
I was at this race. Crazy
ok fox, I get it, you wanted to have the checkered sponsor in the highlights, but you have the commentator talking about the 3 car pushing the 2 out of the way and you don't show that? Come on, do better than that
Shades of Ricky Bobby thanking Baby Jesus.
Austin Dillon pulled off a lightning mcqueen in the big one, wow
Lightning McQueen will be proud for Dillon for clearing the Big One
Austin gets first:
The rain: eh no.
Nice that it wasn't shown on free TV for us senior citizens wonder why nascar is loosing fans
NASCAR : the WWE of the cars
The wreck was basically a Mcqueen Crash in CARS 1 where austin Dillon made it through
Alex Bowman did amazing today he had the fastest car it's a shame just unfortunate that chase briscoe always ends up wrecking the field I understand he was loose, Bowman lifted, they did everything they could just sucks.
"always" theres more than 1 driver that wrecks fields
@@panthersfan8751 yes always is harsh but at this point its happened commonly and is an issue this season. I'm not mad he's going for it I'm just disappointed cause he should know when he can and can't make the move cause it ruins other people's race. But like I said "always" is harsh
You just sound like a typical salty Bowman fan. Bowman has one more year and won’t have a ride anymore, he lacks a lot of talent. I don’t think the wreck was on Briscoe at all. Bowman was pushing on his left rear quarter panel
@@codymolyneaux7497 come on man he has more talent than you give him credit for. Look it's not all on briscoe he was loose but he put him self there. Bowman lifted trying to keep from wrecking him because briscoe was loose he kept going up the banking. People behind still constantly pushing and not letting up doesn't end well and that's just what happened. I'm not salty we still finished 14th like I said I'm just disappointed it took Bowman out of contention for a win. 🤷♂️
Bowman put himself in a position to cause a huge wreck hanging on the left rear coming out of the corner is a recipe for disaster. Maybe Hamlin is right. Just a hack.
THATS MY BOY!!!
kinda neet seeing the three and the eight side by side brings back memories from dei days
Was here
It was crazy
Austin Dillon did lightining mcqueen trick😅
Was there really 10 cars that finished the race?!?!?!
16 cars
10 cars on the lead lap
I wish that is was on the channel it was supposed to be on, but hey it's only one of the more important races of the year.
All 4 Hendricks cars did poorly 😅
It was raining on that restart.
Expensive demolition derby.
It's better to be lucky than good
I hate this breaking up the race into Stages, endurance is just as important as anything else. It's 500 miles for a good reason.
Austin Dillon needs to play the lottery. Getting involved in a wreck and not making contact with anything earlier then missing the Big One to get the win. 😵💫🤯 Although he may have actually cashed in his winning ticket already.
I am so happy chase won the regular season
Yes
Me
Bubba. Scrubbed it out again. In a season with the most winners he still couldn’t muster one up. Year 6 and still no playoffs lmao
Nascar cost teams about 5 million in damage sending them out in the rain. Unbelievable
Well is Dillon the first guy to cross the start finish line going backwards and forwards and win lol
Austin Dillon for sure did it for Dale
BRAhahahahaW
NICE Burnout Dillon
Two RCR cars made it into the playoff
What goes around comes around :D
Crash or be crashed, pick your poison!
What an embarrassment. 7 cars racing at the end all torn up. When's the figure 8 racing start?
Is that not but the second time the 3 has won at Daytona other than the duels?
If you go by the number itself, it's the 7th time. Fireball Roberts (this race in 1959) David Pearson (1961 this race) Dale Earnhardt 1990 & 1993 this race plus the 1998 Daytona 500) and Austin Dillon. (2018 Daytona 500 and now this race). Though Dale and Austin are the only drivers to have won both points races at Daytona.
Hola quiero ver todas las carreras en vivo ,me podrían notificar.
muchas gracias Victor..
The over-time rules are capable for go karts but not Nascar. Should be at least 5 laps with a pit stop. This would put all cars on a level field, not the first row being boxed in on old tires.
Is there any footage of Michael McDowell’s Interview after the Crash?
From backwards down the pitlane.
im not saying im a film major(pssst...im a film major) but whats with the fade at 10:10 ?
I think Dillon dumped cindric
Just rattled his cage a bit, that's all.
This race looked like a iracing carb cup race.
The number 3 should not be used.
I liked old school , when they passed for a win . Dive bombs , 8 wheels are better than 4 use the for brakes ? Not so much.
Just want to say very good race and have a good day
A Nascar Fan with A Brain 🧠
Why did they cut out the winning "pass"
Guess driver safety isn't really that big a thing anymore ..... Only winner in this race was the rain wrecking everybody but the back markers
Great work aj Lack. 🚘👌👌👌👌👌👌
Days of thunder
There was rain on the track camera TWO laps before that final crash.... FIGGIN LASTCAR
Alright Thankyou Jesus! Always good to see that 3 cross the Finish Line
This channel shows more highlights then actual nascar channel lolm
Let's go Bubba!
Can't wait to see someone in that 3 car who actually deserves it instead of a guy who has to depend on his grandpa to keep his racing career going.
Seriously. This guy gets so lucky. Win some of the biggest races in the sport without deserving it or winning in fuel mileage. I can’t stand that he drives that car.
Richard would just change it back to the next number availible Austin Dillion is pretty much the Lance Stroll of Nascar
I thot u couldn't go below yellow line to improve your position
If said driver was avoiding an wreck then it's different.
They all drive like they are on their cell phone
