The Chase has sucked since they started it. It's like Mr France is content with seeing venue after venue not selling out like they use to back when the Points System was king. Back then I use to watch every single race down at a buddies vacation house in Maryland. The place would be packed to the gill and we all had our own drivers we rooted for... now out of 3+ dozen of us NASCAR fans... I'm the only one who still occasionally watches and it's because of the playoff system. Consistency means nothing... now ya can be consistent year round and then one little tiny mistake and your years is toast. It's stupid.
Hamlin is so great at Martinsville that he should’ve started in the back and move through the field to gain points . It was smart what Byron did move through the field to get enough points to make the final 4 what a stragedy that was lol

If they're not going to respect the run, then why should their block be respected?

Yeah, I can see Truex doesn't rate high enough to interfere with the constant Hamlin blaney playbyplay. I really don't care about any driver specifically, but was watching for the 6 competing for the 2 spots. I didn't hear about Byron very much or why truex fell behind. Maybe spend 10 or 20 seconds on the other contenders during the highlights? Will anyone tell me why truex was top 5, then top 20?
