When I was in high school, I was having difficulty with acne, my physician ordered a cream (the pharmacist mixed the cream at pharmacy) with sulfur added in cream. I’m telling you that cream worked wonderfully, with in 3 days my acne was gone. When a pimple was staring, I immediately put that sulfuric cream on the spot, that baby was gone within a day. 💯
It's great that you found a product that worked! I have also seen that Proactiv skin care line, Exposed Skin Care, Acnease, Accutane, Spironolactone and ClearLight Laser work very well for Acne and oily skin! I could have used an oily skin cure for my face in 5th grade through 10th! Also a very healthy diet too! Lots of water!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I've been watching your videos for years. I'm nearly 50 years old, Asian, and for most of my life my skincare routine was simply wash and moisturize. I've been using Cetaphil products for my entire life so I think I had a leg up. Well, as an Asian, I'm aging extraordinarily well (I'm regularly confused for a 30 year old - I'll TAKE IT) I struggle with hyperpigmentation. I finally got fed up with it and started BINGING all of your videos on hyperpigmentation and controlling it and I have built a morning and evening skincare routine after going from no knowledge to at least a 202-level knowledge - thanks to your educational content. And yes, I did in fact buy the Major Fade solution (in the mail, haven't tried yet) Also thanks to you, I have FINALLY found a sunscreen I'm not allergic to so I'm finally able to wear daily sunscreen. As I noticed that you carefully selected the most important ingredients to mix them all to allow your clients to save money by not having to buy 20 different products and become alchemists, I will definitely spend on your product line.
As someone with ADHD/Autism I get overwhelmed with all the different types of products and steps I need to follow to the point that I end up giving them up. I would love to see a video targeted towards people with ADHD/Autism who struggle with consistency and understanding of skincare routine steps and products. 👽♥️♥️♥️

Yup ! It could be overwhelming.
However it's not the amount of steps or products that matter the most. But consistency.
Start with the basic, cleasner, sunscreen, a night cream moisturizer, with one active ingredient.
And little by little you will grow. Take your time, you will find your way.
Personally, I like to stick to one or a couple of brands, it makes me less dizzy, and it looks better on the shelf. 😅

Would love to see a video on products for mature skin that still needs hydration but get congested easily. I find a lot of suggested products (ie sunscreens and moisturizers) tend to be too rich and heavy for me and unfortunately I then get clogged pores.

Dr Idriss-love all the great info and the way you present it is *chefs kiss* In a few videos you have touched on hormones, and even your own skin issues during fertility treatments. I’d love to see a video on the topic of how hormones play a role in skin. Specifically during phases of life but also with med issues like Endo where estrogen is dominant, problems that might crop up during fertility treatments and pregnancy, and what to do/avoid during these times. I am starting the fertility journey myself and while we only can afford one round of IVF (because my state doesn’t require healthcare to cover it) I want to be prepared for what might come my way. 💛🧡

Me too! I was about to try my salicylic acid on my nose, but after watching this I think I have the sebaceous filaments and not blackheads?! The rest of my skin is so dry so I think a nose mask would be ideal 🙏

Please do a video on the nose mask! That’s the only place on my face I’m oily, but borderline dry everywhere else. So I have difficulty getting products that my face likes.
Your flash mask is great. I don’t leave it on overnight bc it’s sticky, but even after 30 min my skin feels brand new.

I love how informative your videos are. I would one on all things Rosacea. An am/pm routine. Talk about azaylic acid, niacinamida, tazarotene, moisturizer, spf with zinc. What products you recommend (skinceutical, Paula’s, inkey, skinfix, LRP, Kiehls, yours, etc) versus which ones to stay from for irritation.

Innbeauty moisturizing cream is stunning, just picked it up yesterday. But not sure why you’d think it’s for the body? It’s def a face moisturizer, before and afters are all the face (neck, too) and use directions tell you to use on face/neck. Anyway, I totally agree with the recommendation, it’s amazing!

If you can use your current retinol comfortably every night for a sustained period of time, you can slowly start introducing a stronger retinol like once a week while continuing your regular retinol on other nights
Example...when you entered the world of retinol and you have been using them for a while and seeing good results with no peeling of flaking or purging. At what point do you say okay I should go to a stronger level. Or just stay where your at....I just don't fully understand that whole process. Thanks in advance for educating all of us.
