- In this video I go bourbon hunting at Lake District Wine and Liquor in Tennessee. They always have a great selection and seem to be continually expanding their bourbon inventory every time I visit. Will we score any fun or unique bourbons? Let’s find out!

What did I miss out on?
If you like Smoke Wagon, pay attention to any white labels: they are special selections. I've heard good things about the Blender's Select Rye.
The Bardstown Foursquare Collaboration is a good pour. I know quite a few people who enjoy it. Great video. Cheers!
I appreciate it! From the feedback I’ve gotten, I definitely should’ve grabbed the 1 I found 😅🥃
(Memphis local) Make sure you don’t miss out on those blue note uncut unfiltered store picks. The one I got from Busters East was out of this world. Good hunting !
I love Blue Note Uncut Unfiltered releases! They have continued to get better and better. I’m a Memphis Native so I love seeing how far blue note has come!
We never pass on the single barrel Blue Note! I have a bottle of Rio for you to review as well as that Jack Tennessee Tasters release.
Haha man they always have a Blue Note! I’ll grab one next time I’m in town. Well let’s set it up!!
@@The_Unbottled just picked up a Redwood Empire Screaming Titan locally.
Bernheim barrel proof is good 👍 great walkthrough
Thank you! I have a couple of the barrel proofs but never tried their 7yr small batch. I need to give it a a try to form my own opinion
Nice job my man!!!
Yoooooo I appreciate it! Huge fan thank you for the support 🥃
Got a bottle of Marshmallow Delight store pick in Va from Maker’s. Good stuff.
Yessir! Everyone I gave a pour to has loved it so I think I did a great job haha
Thank you for taking the time to make this and share with us strangers! I highly recommend you go back and grab one (or two if you want to share) of the Jack Distillery series!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and engage with my content. I have a couple of the distillery series releases and some I like WAY more than others. Which is your favorite so far?
@@The_Unbottled see now, living in PA I got no options. I’ve been fortunate enough to spend time down in Maryland and pickup some of the limited Sagamore products and I enjoy them all and they’re not priced out of the market just yet. Expect $70-80 for one of their limited releases which in comparison to the double oak for $60-65 it’s not bad of a jump at all!
Flew round the by a few rare characters
I have to grab a couple more rare characters! I know I passed on them this trip but I’ll grab some in the future
Those Buffalo Trace prices in comparision to my area 🤯.
Memphis is a honey hole brother. I grew up an hour from there awesome availability
Yea there’s Buffalo Trace everywhere in Memphis. I didn’t know it was allocated until I moved away 😅
Basically my back yard bro. Grew up an hour from Memphis so that's pretty much home. Some amazing stores there.
That’s my hometown! It’s crazy coming back and seeing the selection I had and didn’t appreciate until I moved 😅
@@The_Unbottled yeah I've always done well there. Plus I get to stop at Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken 😂 it's a win win!!!
Oh yea! Gus’s is always a great choice
@@The_Unbottled it's a must stop every time I'm in town. I'm about an hour and a half away now so don't get over much as I used to. But I never miss out on Gus's.
I keep Makers on the bar rotation. If selections are tough to find go to cask strength and 46 cask strength. Those are winners.
That’s facts!! Makers is definitely underrated
That JD toasted rye sounds good!
It actually really is!
@@The_Unbottled hopefully I can find one here in northeast TN🤞
Bro. I am on my 3rd bottle of that Bardstown, Foursquare Collaboration. I love it. But I am a huge fan of Foursquare rum. The only problem is most areas overprice it.
Man it didn’t have a price so I figured it’d be astronomically higher than I wanted to pay really.
Should have got the jack Daniels toast distillery Bottle.
I already had it so I was trying to find something that was different. Thank you for the support 🥃
You missed those Dark Arts bottles at 1:21. The red label and black label bottles are great. I got one of their Blue Note store picks. I was in that area Saturday. Just down the road at Caesar's Wine and Liquor.🥃
Caesar’s is 🔥 too. Plenty of great stores all around Memphis. I should be back in town soon.
I don’t know much about Dark Arts tbh
Always love seeing Lahey crash on bourbon hunting videos. Great job. Bourbon has gotten more expensive so even though I have a bunch of 50-70 bottles I’m searching and buying sleeper budget bottles and stocking up on them.
I appreciate the support!!
You passed on the bardstown?! Rip lol
Yea, I wasn’t too sure about it and honestly haven’t tried many of their collaborations. I’m open to grabbing it if I find it again.
The 92 proof Bernheim is nasty! One of the worst bottles I have ever bought. It's had two pours out of it and I don't plan to ever drink the rest.
What don’t you like about it? Is it too light, mineral forward, bad after taste?
You passed over those rare characters?
Yea I know I like rare characters personally but just didn’t pull the trigger this hunt
