Really enjoy these tinkering and setup vids. I kinda geek out on all the different ways we can adjust parts, arrows, etc. I keep working on my setup and as I progress I learn more about what we are doing when we adjust things on my bow. I'll be shooting TAC San Antonio this year and I've been shooting bows for about 6 months total. I learned about TAC from you guys, and cant wait to experience a fun shoot like this. Keep producing the great content!
Super smooth, high quality, easy to setup different wheels for different arrow setups, and an awesome company to deal with!!! I have the Tetra-Max and RYZ they are both awesome, RYZ is handy if you like a second pin without cluttering up your scope, but if you are just shooting target I'd go with the single pin, just my thoughts...
Big thank you to elk shape and Josh from Podium archery for all the great videos giving tons of information and reviews on many products. I really enjoy watching! Thank you guys for everything you do promoting the sport of archery!
Josh you are the best bow tuner that I have ever seen!! I ran an archery shop for 2 years and didn't know 1/2 of what you know!! I could make a bow shoot well but damn you are a genius
I have been watching you guys for a couple of years now! I love the videos and arrow tinkering. I have learned A LOT from ya'll. Please keep them coming! Thank you
I can’t wait to have enough 💵 to do anything josh recommends 😜 It’s annoying that people are giving you crap about having expensive stuff. I’m just thankful that I have y’all to be my Guinea pigs and tell me what’s the best if and when I afford it. THANKS FOR THE BEST BOW HUNTING CONTENT
Awsome customer service from Josh. Wish I lived closed. A buddy and I are trying to schedule our vacations together so we can head out there with our bow setups and arrows to have a professional go through them with us. Thank you for all the great content and expert advice 💯
I’ve found the bridge lock sight bars to have slop. I have an Axcel, Black Gold and HHA bar and none sit level to the bowstring when screwed down. The sight slider slightly slopes down and away from the bow as you dial for longer distances. That has to mean the tapes will be off to some degree. Finally, I shimmed the BG bar and got it to sit level. I’ve been shooting it like that and it has been fine. The Axcel bar has the least slop of the 3, but it too angles up when screwed down. For me, I just want my sight to be level. Maybe it’s OCD. When mounted to the bow the old fashioned way, they all sit level.
Thanks for all the info and perspective MFJJ. Been down the archery rabbit hole a while now and do everything except what i need a press for but i still am new when it comes to actually tuning a bow within my means and arrows to the bow…its good to see a no frills perspective and approach.
I've been using the trophy ridge digital react and I absolutely love it. Sight your 20 then enter your bow speed and your done. Did that and was accurately making 115 yard shots after only shooting for 2 months
Even though you probably already beat him, I’m new hear so I guess I’ll find out as I go on watching all the videos. I’m very excited and learning so much thanks guy’s. You guys are all awesome I wish I could meet you guys one day.
IF you are using the Ultraview 3 (31mm/non-XL) scope or an Axcel AVX-31 (AV-31) you do not need the extra offset bracket. I am running all three of these scopes and the additional drillings in the Landslyde is enough offset for any 31mm scope.
I still got a 5 pin from Walmart back in the early 2000's. This brand you could add more pins to it. I think I had it situated from 20 to 100. Lot of pins. But now I use a 5 pin Black Gold Verdict. It's at 20 to 60. But the last pin is dialed up to 120 yards. The know is great to adjust.
Ha let them hate. ABT! How do you know your truly set if you do not try anything new. And it pretty dam fun to tinker with new stuff. Take some time to learn how to do something with your own set up. Fletch some arrows, try three or four fletch. Check out some new sights or a raptor peep. I just swapped from a kisser to a nose button this week. It’s always fun, never done! Stay true fellas
Love my Landslydes that’s why I own 3 of them. I also run the UV3 on them. Love the content. Whitetail Hunter from Pennsylvania here. Don’t get to shoot as much as I want to as I am a union carpenter that builds bridges and highways for a living. Good luck and keep it up. Good luck to 100k🏹🦌💪🏼
Yeah nice! I got a accuhunter . I was having problem with windage.. I was down cheating my windage to the left because of my bow. Messaged tru ball. No answer. I am a machinist so I machined a shim! So wow they make a shim! I even made one for a fellow archer at my club that was having the same problem with her sight! Wow u have to go to elk shape and mfjj to know it exist! 2 shops didn't know squat and we have only 2 shops around! Really good job guy's! I want a flagship bow. Don't have the money but. Think I am going to fly to Spokane to get the real deal from canada!🤦♂️🤷♂️nice vid guy's 👍👊👌
I miss my bow so much. It blew up on my while drawing it back and I am just not able to replace it right now. So sad. I used my spot Hogg sight and loved it. One day I’ll be looking at a deer through her again lol.
Just to throw a wrench in it. When my group and I shoot 3-D we shoot “unknown” (no range finder) you have to guess range’s which I feel makes for more real world scenarios. Food for thought
I'd like to see your review of the option 8s. Very few reviews out there, I started running one this year and really like it, doesn't have the adjustment beyond 110/115 depending on your setup but for hunting applications its hard to beat.
I love the abt I just switched to a landslyde myself absolutely love it I do want to get an ultra view scope on it but love your content look forward to your videos
Rabbit hole my arse....more like an ocean vortex! My very first compound bow experience: (A hunting rig goal or so I thought to replace my 50# recurve) I chose the axcel landslyde with the .010 3 pin setup, hamskea epsilon, like mike 2 release for my RX7 hoyt. I take everyone's reviews and information and try to make that info help me try to make a decision on what will work for me. You have done a great job in helping me meet that step/steps/mountain in finding what may or may not fit my needs. I listed my ocean vortex of equipment to elkshape during one of the setup youtube getting ready or other posts. Podiumarcher has been of much help in this process as well. Enjoy your rabbit hole of archery. Your adventures helps out everyone! Keep up the good work
Thanks for telling me to win the quitting arguments @3am elk season I’m using the same plan on work out plan first two days of navy seal burpees sucked but I still going
I just bought the 3 pin LANDSLYDE from Josh! I haven’t put it on the bow yet. It has been to windy out. I am excited to throw it on and use it at Michigan tac this year!
Great video. I went from an hha tetra 4 pin to the hha tetra with the uv3 then to the landslide with the uv3. Love the sight and easy use and setup. Would be really interested in the draw board setup that Josh built for his press.
Would love to see a review on the new Canyon Pounder sight. I know you guys aren’t big fans of their older sights, but I’d be curious to know your thoughts on their new sight. Thanks.
Man I'm hoping to possibly try to make it to this shoot but if you announce it and do it within a month it's gonna be tuff to swing coming from PA nor gonna lie if it did all come about in end Aug or Sept and the shoot would happen in following spring that would be fantastic and I'd have no reasons or excuses not to make it thanks for everything boys and when's that giveaway for the hip quiver gonna happen make sure you view all them comments lol thanks again fellas love what yall do and all the info younz give us
Love the reviews but could you guys do a review on the options archery 5pin slider. 23 is gonna be a great year turkey hunting 2 different states maybe 3 and deer hunting 3 states at least
Should've gone with Redlines Torch sight. If you cant find a Landslide and still want to use your UV housing with a slider, the Torch is where it's at.
Another great vid, you guys are great at providing helpful info but also keeping it fun. What pin size do you guys shoot in your sights and what is that big foam target you guys were shooting at 80 and 100?
That would be great to get your view and opinion on the canyon pounder and to see what all you guys think of it from set up to shooting the option archery sights and accessories are popular here in Australia among a few hunters around Australia the canyon pounder has just started hitting the shelves here at nearly $1000 for the 4 pin sight and to hear what you guys think of it from set up to shooting it would be great
Must be NICE!! to work with a bunch of pretty COOL DUDES who all work bloody hard and support each other's Businesses. Good Luck Timmy, I reckon you'll beat Dan in 2025 if he shoots Recurve. There's a video idea Dan or Josh get a recurve bow handicap
Tim, you gotta get the rogan pouch for you kifaru quiver. It makes it fricken next level. So much storage. Not saying I do but I can fit a 357 magnum and two beers with all my extra rest parts target spikes release parts etc.
Is it actually common to need that bridge lock adaptor? I run that bar on a v3x with the UV3 xl and don't have any issues. I actually didn't know that bar existed until now lol.
being able to swap sight tape rings like on the tetra max is what puts it at the top. landslide is good but the adjustment knob is too small and too tight to other parts of the sight if you have big hands or gloves on. also some of the other set screws can be a pita
You guys are killing me with the landslydes.. been wanting to make the switch so bad but the bow budget is a little tight this year trying to squeeze some extra hunts in! If I heard right that the tournament is open to your subs then I will trek to SVA for 100k and come home with a Landslyde!! (and maybe even some trophies too😉)
Love the HHA Sports Tetra Max, and RYZ!! definitely feel like you guys would enjoy it, even just their system with your ultraview sight... 2nd and 3rd axis are easier than the landslide, and the dial is super smooth! Great videos guys!!
@@ElkShape if you could do a direct comparison between the Black Gold Dual Trac and the Redline Torch that would be great. It would be interesting to compare the pin brightness of both .010 pins. I think that value and impact that the information you gouts put out has is huge! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Thank you! Will do!

Scored a landslide yesterday and I love it. Once sighted in it stays bang on and easy to manipulate. Love it.
Love these ABT videos, always interested to hear about new gear & the banter is what keeps us coming back!
HHA TETRA RYZ MAX is something I'm looking at, and would love to see you guys give it a run.
I got one when they came out, so far my favorite sight to date.
We have one we’re going to test!
I like the Landslyde, but I’ll take a Tetra over it any day of the week.
I have the Tetra Ryze Max Tournament Edition on my V3X & The Hoyt version on my Ventum. They are the best money can buy & smooth af quality.
Big thank you to elk shape and Josh from Podium archery for all the great videos giving tons of information and reviews on many products. I really enjoy watching! Thank you guys for everything you do promoting the sport of archery!
Keep bringing the great content. Tim your progress has been awesome! Keep up the great work!!
Thanks! Will do!
Josh you are the best bow tuner that I have ever seen!! I ran an archery shop for 2 years and didn't know 1/2 of what you know!! I could make a bow shoot well but damn you are a genius
great to see the journey and progress timmy is making, can wait to see you take down everyone!!

Best information channel out here! Keep it up 💯🤌
I have been watching you guys for a couple of years now! I love the videos and arrow tinkering. I have learned A LOT from ya'll. Please keep them coming! Thank you
As usual, Tim got no head🤣🤣 Love these kinds of videos!
I can’t wait to have enough 💵 to do anything josh recommends 😜
It’s annoying that people are giving you crap about having expensive stuff. I’m just thankful that I have y’all to be my Guinea pigs and tell me what’s the best if and when I afford it. THANKS FOR THE BEST BOW HUNTING CONTENT
As always, great video guys! Really appreciate all the videos and work you guys put into getting great content to us!
You guys Rock ! Honestly it’s nice to have real deal guys that seem to always give honest feedback on what your using 🤛

Awsome customer service from Josh. Wish I lived closed. A buddy and I are trying to schedule our vacations together so we can head out there with our bow setups and arrows to have a professional go through them with us. Thank you for all the great content and expert advice 💯
Sweet set up. Always enjoy watching your channel, keep up the great work 🤙🏾
H2H is a great event. Looked like that's where you were. Hope you had fun, sorry I missed it and the chance to possibly meet you.
It was fun!
Great video guys!! Thats a sweet looking sight guys! Definitely drilling some foam with em, look forward to seeing how tac goes for u guys
Thank you G ✊
Thank you guys so much! Not just for the giveaways but the hard work y’all put in and the knowledge you put out. I’ve learned a lot from you all! #ABT
TC putting in that work!
I got a HHA Tetra Ryz last month and can’t imagine going back to spot hog etc. the site tape on the Ryz are impressive
Noted!!
So Good! Thanks for the great content and inspirational ABT moments! keep it up, I love it!
You Guys Rock, SOO DEDICATED, and HELPFUL.

Converted My CBE hybrid engage to a multi pin indicator. Love it!!!!

That camera and audio work @3:00 was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the vids guys💯
Great shooting Tim. !!

Love my axcel landslyde paired with the UV3 scope I got it the week it came out
Just listen to your gritty podcast. Please continue to make hunting films. They are amazing, and we appreciate you for putting in the hard work.

Same with the factory accustat 3 pin scope they come with and I assume the AV41. I have one on a P4 29 and V3X 33.
Great video always like to see you guys tinker around and shoot foam
I couldn’t find a landslyde without a scope so I went ahead and bought one with the axcel sight and I love it!
Definitely went with the best sight in the business, well done guys keep up the great work.
We’re reviewing them all this year
Love the tac prep videos. I'm always tinkering with my setup as well, and pushing myself to be better. Great content as always. #tdd

edit: not sure if I am a fan of the kifaru quiver from the looks of it alone.
Im not sure if my hand pressure torques the bow or what, but I did not need the offset bracket. There is plenty of windage on either side.
That’s good.. there’s been a few similar responses in the comment s
Can we get a video on that press and draw board set up...sweet!!!
Looks so much better than the last chance draw board I have on my deluxe
Thanks for the honesty and great reviews!…what kind of target is that big one y’all were shooting at 100??
Thanks for telling me to win the quitting arguments @3am elk season I’m using the same plan on work out plan first two days of navy seal burpees sucked but I still going
I just bought the 3 pin LANDSLYDE from Josh! I haven’t put it on the bow yet. It has been to windy out. I am excited to throw it on and use it at Michigan tac this year!
Word!
Redline torch looks like a good 1 for the money if you have 1 on the shelf
Great video. I went from an hha tetra 4 pin to the hha tetra with the uv3 then to the landslide with the uv3. Love the sight and easy use and setup. Would be really interested in the draw board setup that Josh built for his press.
I like the 3 pin engage with the dove tale
That's the way I'll be going too. That carbon landslyde is so sweet! 🔥 Thanks for the video guys!
Hey Tim , great content as always. Keep up the good work and I think this is the year you TDD 👍🏽
Appreciate it!
Videos rock. Need a Cuban and some Papi Vanwinkle for the next fireside chat.
Would love to see a review on the new Canyon Pounder sight. I know you guys aren’t big fans of their older sights, but I’d be curious to know your thoughts on their new sight. Thanks.
It’s coming ✊✊

We’re fixing to test it
Would love to see you guys give the Redline Torch a shot and run it through the ringer.
Good Times Thank You
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great vid, you guys are great at providing helpful info but also keeping it fun. What pin size do you guys shoot in your sights and what is that big foam target you guys were shooting at 80 and 100?
Finally!Nobody and nothing cant beat Landslyde 🤘
Hha Kingpin with 3pin head. Ohhh I’ll never switch.

I'll be picking up this sight in 3 pin very soon
CBE Trek Pro! Bang for buck. IMO
Do you guys have a video explaining the 12 little crimps on each side of the string?
Tim, you gotta get the rogan pouch for you kifaru quiver. It makes it fricken next level. So much storage. Not saying I do but I can fit a 357 magnum and two beers with all my extra rest parts target spikes release parts etc.
Is it actually common to need that bridge lock adaptor? I run that bar on a v3x with the UV3 xl and don't have any issues. I actually didn't know that bar existed until now lol.
The cbe elevate sight is pretty fly
being able to swap sight tape rings like on the tetra max is what puts it at the top. landslide is good but the adjustment knob is too small and too tight to other parts of the sight if you have big hands or gloves on. also some of the other set screws can be a pita
I didn't need the offset bracket to put a Landslyde on my V3X 29.
Good deal
Mohawk on point, lol...
UV3 on Axcel Landslyde Carbon Pro in the bridgelock has been my sight since last year , haven't seen a better option out there yet.
What release is Tim shooting? And would it be recommended for someone who’s interested in learning to shoot a handheld? Thanks!
Another great video, very informative, quick question what is the name of the target you guys are shooting at the end of the video? Thank you
He says "Ye old 300 yard shooter" IE Dan 😂
Lol yup
Would love to see you guys test out the Canyon pounder by Option 🏹
Coming soon!
I hope to meet all of you one day!
Having a sight that quick releases and adjusts makes life so much simpler
UV3XL Scope on a Fast Eddie XL
You guys are killing me with the landslydes.. been wanting to make the switch so bad but the bow budget is a little tight this year trying to squeeze some extra hunts in! If I heard right that the tournament is open to your subs then I will trek to SVA for 100k and come home with a Landslyde!! (and maybe even some trophies too😉)
I think you should give the HHA Tetra Max Ryz a go! Works great with ultraview and doesn't have a tiny knob like Axcel!
Love the HHA Sports Tetra Max, and RYZ!! definitely feel like you guys would enjoy it, even just their system with your ultraview sight... 2nd and 3rd axis are easier than the landslide, and the dial is super smooth!
Great videos guys!!
We’re fixing to do a review on them
@@ElkShape got it set up on my phase 4 33 it's choice
I would like to see Elkshape review the Redline Torch.
Noted!
@@ElkShape if you could do a direct comparison between the Black Gold Dual Trac and the Redline Torch that would be great. It would be interesting to compare the pin brightness of both .010 pins. I like the small pin for distance but would like to see how bright those pins get compared to each other. If you want to get even more in depth bring in the Spot Hogg Triple Stack.
Got my landslyde from MFJJ. Prob the only online dealer in the US who actually has them in stock right now
Super great video! Is the scope the UV3 XL or the regular UV3? Which one would you suggest I get?
