The only current options on the market are doing speech to text, then translating the whole sentance, then text to speech. It is very difficualt to concive of a way of doing it in real time given the gramatical differences between languages.
Stanz it's technically not AR because its a VR headset with incredibly good passthrough with makes it seem like a AR headset because you can see the world around you like normal but the way it works is that you look into a screen that shows you whats around with the camaras and not you looking at the real world and it displaying something in it / over it hope this makes sense Tldr its technicly not a AR headset but it seems like it. just a small correction :P

Idk what I`m not getting Its a pass-through display, its a plane, its a self driving car. unless both fail at same time (possible, but unlikelly until a large amount of users do), it doesnt seem like a big problem . I would even argue an actual driver is danger than that... on a plane even less worse, Bruh, its at sky, if isnt a comercial flight(most have auto pilot and landing, but doesnt replace pilot) under heavy wheater that requires attention, doesnt matter, just take it off if fail, a plane doesnt just fall instantly.
As a pilot that clip had me screaming NOOOOO. Even though general aviation typically allows for being on devices for non flight purposes, that is a whole other thing. Worst of all he is covering his face and if that thing turns off man better hope nothing goes wrong while taking it off. If he wore it during landing he is just wishing to die. Man needs to get his license taken by the FAA asap (also clarification flying isn’t like driving, so as long as you’re not near an airport or by any air traffic and you’re not busy or have anything to do, tasks that don’t get you engrossed are generally okay and safe)
I mean this is just a first world problem, only the elites in 3rd world countries (which are a majority of countries overall) could afford these kinds of technologies, which in turn will just deepen the divide imo. It will be hard to humanize the first world when yall become cyborgs
