- In his perjury trial on 6 November, Workers’ Party (WP) Leader Pritam Singh defended himself against charges of misleading the Committee of Privileges (COP) regarding former WP MP Raeesah Khan's false statement in Parliament.
Singh, charged under the Parliament (Privileges, Immunities and Powers) Act, maintains that he aimed to support Khan by allowing her time to address her claims independently.
The first charge alleges Singh falsely told the COP that he encouraged Khan to clarify her statement in a 2021 meeting with WP leaders.
The second claims Singh misled the COP, stating he advised Khan to "take ownership" of her statement if it resurfaced.
Singh explained that he told Khan to "simply tell the truth," emphasizing her well-being and mental health.
He clarified that his phrase “your call” signaled that Khan alone should decide how to address her statement if questioned.
Singh concluded his testimony, with cross-examination expected to follow.

PS is a benevolent, magnanimous leader, allowing her the dignified space to come clean and own up herself. What is wrong with that?
Ultimately, she is the People's Elected MP and this is a FACT of the matter.
Here is my take;
I will not judge you can be taken to mean - You should have the dignity as the People's Elected MP and your own basic principles to do what is Right, to be dignified to own up yourself. And I think PS was hoping she could find the evidence and the victim to substantiate her story even though she did not accompany the victim to the Police station. But as it turned out, the whole anecdote was untrue. PS must be very disappointed. So, he said "now is too late isn't it", as he had given her much time and space and thus took the necessary management action to remove her from the party.
NO matter how they try bring him down in court Mr.Pritam Singh will prevail All Singaporeans support him.

In the COP findings, MOE V2, Line 13952: "TAKE IT TO THE GRAVE, I WILL NOT JUDGE YOU" are in the context of her "deeply personal experience" when they discussed her "well-being".
How old is she?She should be taking responsibility herself just like anyone working in adult world where we make mistake in our implementation, we admit and follow up resolution and move on,she is not little girl in the first place. Referring to The Minutes of Evidence (MOE) in the COP findings, MOE V2, Line 13952: RK said they discussed her "well-being" and she shared a very deeply "personal experience", And the discussion that followed was that we would not pursue the matter further and like in my message, Mr. Singh used the words “take it to the grave”.
But in the COP Main Report; Page 8 Line 27(2) Mr. Singh told her, in the presence of Ms. Lim and Mr. Faisal, that she should take the Untruth “to the grave”.
I thought RK's exact Words were "take it to the grave" and not "take the Untruth to the grave" and the context was on her "Well-Being" and a very deeply "personal experience".?
Question: How come the difference between what was said by RK and the report? and why is this about?

Nothing new. From my memory of the COP videos, SL had written down what RK said. PS in not only an MP but also LO & bore the duty & responsibility to Parliament of what his fellow wayang MP had said in Parliament knowing as early as 8/8/21 that RK had told an untruth in Parliament on 38/21. Absolutely NOTHING to do with "magnanimity", "fixing opposition" when PS his wayang party has not function as an "opposition", but help to legitimise the PAP regime as so as luxuriate in their $16k/m MP allowance, whereas PS gets $32k/m. Simply put from the evidence & testimonies in court, PS must face the full weight of the law both under which he is being charged AND under the ODA. 7 yrs JAIL PLUS $35K FINE.
