I had the Lynx and California games in the day, the unit still resides today at a friends house and his kids sometimes play with it.

When I was a kid it was #1 Surfing #2 Half Pipe #3 BMX. We didn't play hacky sack, either we were missing something or it was truly terrible.
Lol... Yeah, me and my friend never played hacky sack either. And he was way better at halfpipe than I was, so we always played BMX and then surfing to keep it competitive :)

Guess we must be the same age aprox? How old are you? I used to go arcades on that age and got my first console atari 2600 like 1 or years later.
I'm a product of the early 80's :) First console was NES and spent many hours at the arcade with my older brother playing Double Dragon.

Hello sir. I couldn't find the LYNX overlay in the links you provided. If you could, please point me in the right direction?
Greetings, my friend! So the Lynx bezel used in this video is actually a Mega Bezel shader rather than just an overlay. You'll need to download the latest shaders via Retroarch and then download the overlay shader pack from Duimon's Github page. I covered this on a recent video for N64 and the directions will also apply to Lynx, but you'll just need to choose one of the Lynx presets: ua-cam.com/video/SWHcDYyvCpA/v-deo.html
Keep in mind that Mega Bezel shaders can be pretty intensive so you'll need a fairly decent system to use them.
@@otggaming3180 Thanks so much for the link. Okay so i was able to get the regular Mega_Bezel stuff working (just the reflection frames) but the ones with the overlays it keeps saying "Failed" to load. I'll go through the setup on their websites. I have tried it both on the Steam version and stand-alone version of RetroArch.
@@otggaming3180 Okay I got it. Mega_Bezel_Packs have to be in the root of shaders directory. Mega_Bezel is a little deeper in (assuming Packs is using them). Now I wonder if i can get an emulation device to run these .. worth a shot but like you said does take a bit of power.
@@randallscully You got it 👍With the Duimon mega bezel shaders there are presets for Advanced, Standard and Lite. I think it will tough even to get the Lite version to run on a mobile device, but still worth a shot. Hope it works out for you :)
@@otggaming3180 Hi again. Well it doesn't look like my devices support the "slang" version of the shaders. only the glslp files. oh well, I enjoyed trying. Tech Fiddling :)
