      @@Ironboxrestingsideways It is physically impossible to get the same angle from the base line. The further away from the net you move, the flatter the angle of the shuttle. If he was to hit it with the same angle from base line, the shuttle would hit the ground on his own side of the court lol.

      You can use the racket until it breaks. Professional players replace them every 6 months or 1 year, but this does not apply to amateurs.
      This stroke is possible with an ordinary racket. There is no need to insist on an expensive racket.

      Racket head should end up on your non racket leg unless you are planning to slice the shuttle.This is really old school technique most modern players don't use this technique anymore as it's less deceptive and the power generation is much less. You can observe all the pro players in slow motion to see the difference.

The "power" in your stroke depends on your wrist flicks. Its a god damn common thing for people playing badminton except beginners of course.
