Duora Z-Strike is insane. One type of material it was using (I think it's called EX-HMG) has never been used by Yonex again until the Nanoflare 1000Z revealed. And Rankireddy himself and other players like Chou Tien Chen and Yugo Kobayashi are still actually using this racquet. Viktor Axelsen, Carolina Marin, Kento Momota, Yuta Watanabe, Hiroyuki Endo, they have all used Duora Z-Strike before for a pretty long time since it was revealed in 2017 and won some amazing tournaments and games.
@@jeremytsu0302 yeah I prefer the z strike over my arcsaber. You can tell just by touching the frames that the material is different or layered differently.
They broke the record by a huge margin. Obviously the human hand itself hasnt evolved by a huge margin but the racket technology and speed measuring tech has
Rankireddy used BG80 and Tan used Exbolt 63, tensions not known, but I'd assume to maximise the repulsive power the tensions were slightly lower than what they would usually use.
It shows the india pair is very inconsistent with their choices. They were doing well sticking with their equipment but Rankireddy keeps swapping between zstrike / 1000z same as the time with zstrike/100zz, all in the name of Yonex marketing.
Its smart to switch between racquets. Depending on the opponents playing style or whether the game is singles or doubles can drastically effect the players choice or racquet. In singles the player might want a 3U head heavy racquet with huge power but not much speed such as the 100ZZ whereas in a doubles match the player might prefer a balanced or head light racquet that is lighter in comparison such as the Z-Strike or the 1000Z.
From my experience as a stringer this racket can't hold heigher tension as some other rackets can hold... Even in 28 lbs its making some creeky sounds.. Plz let me know anyother experience the same kind of issue.. Thank you
Yeah 28lbs is max for this racquet. No idea why. Maybe it being head light has a reason. It might have less or lighter material that is less durable in the head which prevents it from holding higher tensions. But honestly for me 28lbs on my 1000 Tour is more than enough. I feel like 30 would be too much cause even at 28 the birdie pings off the bed like crazy.

Which racquets had the fastest smashes in the past? How were they measuring the speed in the past? Look at the video for what it is, it's marketing to get more hype in the racquet. I have one myself, it definitely is an upgrade from the Nanoflare 800lt (my last season racquet). It doesn't cause me elbow pain like NF800lt did. I love playing with it. BUT. Mine has a small crack in it from a clash. I hadn't even had it 4 weeks. First time I have ever gotten a crack in a racquet like that in over 13 years of using Yonex racquets (nanoray, astrox etc). As for your question, think of dragonball Z. What happened when Trunks bulked up to beat Cell. For the purpose of getting the fastest smash, it's easier to do it with a head light racquet. The racquet head speed they generate at the point of contact would be giving off more repulsion than if they used say the Astrox 100zz, or the Zforce2
Last time i was impressed by that but now i just feel like its a marketting gimmick and really doesnt improve my gaming skill if i buy one. Sorry to spoiled my old fantasy.
