@@gokuson4049 Still won't hurt. Shuttle's are not painful unless they are hit from 2 inches away. You can smash a shuttle at 600 kph and it hit my body on the other side of the court and still it won't damage you at all. Just sting a bit for a second. Even if you hit your partner on same side of court. It will just sting a bit.

I think the measurements are all over the place, especially when its midcourt lifts they get to smash. I feel it doesn't quite count unless you can ram it thro someones defence from the tramlines at the back of the court.

@@JJ-hp6mb Unnecessarily cuntish.Anyone can put away a midcourt smash, presumably even you. I'm saying that it obviously is a bit more impressive and representative if its at least a winner from the back that a competent player can't defend. Moreover, the further the shuttle has to travel, the more it slows down, if its a midcourt put-away, it won't have slowed down much. Would it?

And Rankireddy himself and other players like Chou Tien Chen and Yugo Kobayashi are still actually using this racquet. Viktor Axelsen, Carolina Marin, Kento Momota, Yuta Watanabe, Hiroyuki Endo, they have all used Duora Z-Strike before for a pretty long time since it was revealed in 2017 and won some amazing tournaments and games.

Its smart to switch between racquets. Depending on the opponents playing style or whether the game is singles or doubles can drastically effect the players choice or racquet. In singles the player might want a 3U head heavy racquet with huge power but not much speed such as the 100ZZ whereas in a doubles match the player might prefer a balanced or head light racquet that is lighter in comparison such as the Z-Strike or the 1000Z.

Yeah 28lbs is max for this racquet. No idea why. Maybe it being head light has a reason. It might have less or lighter material that is less durable in the head which prevents it from holding higher tensions. But honestly for me 28lbs on my 1000 Tour is more than enough. I feel like 30 would be too much cause even at 28 the birdie pings off the bed like crazy.

    • @davidb7178
      @davidb7178 Рік тому +1

Which racquets had the fastest smashes in the past?
How were they measuring the speed in the past?
Look at the video for what it is, it's marketing to get more hype in the racquet.
I have one myself, it definitely is an upgrade from the Nanoflare 800lt (my last season racquet). It doesn't cause me elbow pain like NF800lt did. I love playing with it.
BUT. Mine has a small crack in it from a clash. I hadn't even had it 4 weeks. First time I have ever gotten a crack in a racquet like that in over 13 years of using Yonex racquets (nanoray, astrox etc).
As for your question, think of dragonball Z. What happened when Trunks bulked up to beat Cell. For the purpose of getting the fastest smash, it's easier to do it with a head light racquet. The racquet head speed they generate at the point of contact would be giving off more repulsion than if they used say the Astrox 100zz, or the Zforce2

Last time i was impressed by that but now i just feel like its a marketting gimmick and really doesnt improve my gaming skill if i buy one. Sorry to spoiled my old fantasy. I think the key is to get a racket you feel nice.
As the video says the top speed is the instantaneous speed achieved. The shuttle will still slow down eventually. Yes rscquet technologies has been imprving over years , and it should keep on improving and feel profoud of the technology advancements

Crikey!!! I played on Sunday, first time in years.
Gulp, OMG , you all would have laughed out loud.
Then again, had you real 👀 how sick injections made moi,
How horrific it was, to survive, the longest lock up, like anywhere.
Then maybe, someone would have been kind.
Someone may have said, YOU GO CAZZA, inspite of my now uncoordinated moves.
    Never mind
    🐦 🕊 life fucked up
    Never mind.
