It's a cultural appropation of Phillip Baileys vocal skills and styling. Would have been better if she had actually brought something to the sing other than digitally tuned carbon copy karaoke.

@@d.d.sarason8749 - Pretty good and very good. There were some mistakes. Mind you, I'm VERY protective of the original and Philip Bailey's masterpiece. Don't mean to be Donnie Downer here. Her singing and this version did move me. Thumbs Up.
@@machtnichtsseimann being an amateur musician myself (Guitar, Trombone) I think she did a wonderful job. I am a super fan of Earth Wind and Fire. And I absolutely am a huge admirer of Philip Bailey. I think she did the song a real justice
Philip Bailey is the true messenger of this song. Love EWF since the 70’s. Saw them in concert 5 times One with Chicago which was awesome. Philip, Vernice- bass and Ralph keep truckin’ along.😢

Pls forgibe me everyone, her volcals are extremely beautiful... her voice has almost what philip voice does for this extremely beautiful song, nut,but shes missing whole verses and jumping past them. I.e. **** "My magical mystque, find it all complete in your lovely face." She missed that completely. Also she says we have a magic box, no, its a "Music box" ...'that only few can look'. Beautiful lady, but keep phols vovals intact. You totally habe the beautiful talent of singing this piece of music. Go back and redo it. Dont jump and skip phrases in the song. Beautiful voice, omg seriously... but she butchered tjis beautiful song skipping lyrics, phrasing . Neverves no doubt..go read how the song is sung, follow along and she misses whole section and jumps aroumd the lyrics. Her boice is wow, beautiful 😍 o wish i could sing like that.
