- Hey, in this video I've written a track in order to demonstrate what StudySound's "Axure" sounds like, so if you're looking for a programmable solution to replace guitars in a project, this could be for you!

I went with Axure and I am very happy! Not only does it sound great, I like supporting people that deserve it and Alan Rigdon (the creator of Axure) definitely does deserve my support and money.

Axe machina has an amp sim section. The default sound has them loaded automatically. you can turn it all off and save a snapshot with em off. The FX rack tab.

@@StronghandStudios I believe the attack knob is like an offset, so it softens attack. So a slight difference to axure.
Btw, odin 3 is having an update for pick attack coming super soon.

@@colinmitchell1287 hahaha nice!! I think as much as these guys ask fight each other the better vst guitars we’re going to get! As someone who misses guitar, I’m all for it, as long as it’s creative/inspiring improvements and not unsupportive destructive race to the top style business practice!
If you fixed the Axe Machina then, maybe next video is a final comparison? Including Axe Machina and Shreddage Hydra :P

Damnit, I picked up Axe Machina today. The DI in other videos sounded much cleaner.
I think there’s an amp that’s baked in an fx tab I couldn’t find, I’ll redo a comparison with it turned off!

Yeah Axe Machina has an amp section you can completely bypass so its an actual dry DI signal. I think the problem here is the amp in Axe aint bypassed and is running through the amp sim making it sound like ass.

Did you not try the Shreddage 3 Hydra? Its honestly SO good. 8 string, sounds realistic and chugs like a beast
