Oh my . I saw another review of this kit, and they had a mesh kick drum pad. Which would be huge ! and I almost bought just because of that, but watched your review and saw NOPE not a mesh BD pad . Wonder if they used one of the Tom pads as a BD ) the Donner 200-X has an extra cymbal pad, And you can use a drum key to tweak but shells are bit smaller than the max. The search goes on. Thanks for this review.!
I think it has sounds like regular drums without phones or amp. Matter of fact, you don't even need to plug it in. If you like the sound of hard plastic being struck by a piece of wood.
Looks really good... Are there Inputs to Expand the Kit ? Maybe with another Cymbal or a second Floor Tom?? And are the Cymbals dual Zone and the Ride Triple Zone? Thnx
I believe it does! I didn’t play around that much with the eq’s because it sounded pretty good! The customization seems to have a lot of features so I’m sure you could do that
@@andrewwarrendrums8969 OK tks, very rare to have a kit of this price with that feature. 👍🏻 Edit: I just had a look online, and unfortunately it does not have that feature. 😩
I haven’t tested either of those, but I think the “brain” of the DED 400 is slightly more advanced. Different pedals, and slightly bigger drum surfaces. The Alesis I don’t know
@@tommyregito Hmmm. 🤔 I haven’t messed around with that so I’m not sure. The pads are pretty customizable so I would think so, but am not totally sure. I would contact Donner and ask! They have great customer service!
De Donner ded200 - Millennium mps750x - Alasis Nitro mesh.....??? I make orkestral tapes and I drum with my keys, in pop productions no problem......but....for more dynamic work as jazz etc. I want to use an elect.drums ....but wich one?
Thanks for posting! Really appreciate the details. Helped me decide in my buying decision.
Glad to hear that! They’re running a sale right now until 11/27 too!
Nirwana-In Bloom😉
I'm getting the Donner 200max too. It has cool metal sets
Good choice!

They may used a tom pad. Thanks for watching
Good review, new subscriber.
I'm thinking of buy it.
Thank you!! They’re running an early black friday sale this weekend 😉
Yes, that's one of my reasons for deciding to buy it now

Anybody know if the standard DED-200 needs an amp to hear other than through headphones?
You do need an amp

Great review bro
Thank you!

I believe there is inputs to expand although I didn’t dive into that yet…
The cymbals are dual zone
Thank you. An actual review instead of an unboxing and setup for 20 minutes and 2 minutes of "review"
@@shanewoolsey940 Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
Does this have individual pad EQ?
I believe it does! I didn’t play around that much with the eq’s because it sounded pretty good! The customization seems to have a lot of features so I’m sure you could do that

How does this compare to ded 400 or an alesis surge mesh?
I haven’t tested either of those, but I think the “brain” of the DED 400 is slightly more advanced. Different pedals, and slightly bigger drum surfaces. The Alesis I don’t know
Thank you for your quick response
Hey! How did you record it with your computer? With USB (MIDI) or with line-out/ audio-cable?
I did a USB (MIDI) into my computer
Why would this be for kids and not an adult? You seem fine on it
It could be for anyone. You’re absolutely right
Excellent video review. Does this have rim shots? What about Bluetooth capability like the ded-500?
It does have rim shots, but no bluetooth
Can we change the rim pad sound?

Can it have a double bass drum pedal?
Definitely
how to make pedals just in place? mine was moving everytime i hit hard
There are like spikes that can be lowered to help hold it into place

I’d go Donner all day!!
@@andrewwarrendrums8969 I buyd a DED500 ...waiting about 5 days for delivery
Can you put an additional cymbal on it?
Yes I believe there is the ability to buy a 2nd crash and add it on!
excellent
Thank you!
Hey! How durable is this kit, how long do you think it would last?
It’s super durable and well built! Not sure I would tour with it or take it on the road, but for home practice or studio work it gets the job done.
@@andrewwarrendrums8969 would you reccomend this over the alesis nitro max ?, i can get both this kit with the same price. Thx
in bloom
Finally someone noticed lol
Can you do a half open hit hat on it?
Yes!
Can the crash be higher?
Yes they are adjustable!
