Yup...thats an option too! I like the actual art gloves though because they are thin and pretty breathable. I think a regular glove would get pretty hot/sweaty after a bit but it's a good trial method to see if it meshes with your workflow!
I was having this problem until I realized that I really only need the glove to be covering my pinky cause my ring finger doesn't touch the screen at all. So I now I take the ring finger off and tuck it into the backside of the glove (not on my palm side cause I found that too bulky). Then I continue to use the two-finger undo using my middle and ring finger. Just thought I'd mention it for people who don't want to retrain their brains :)
I always thought the seams were mainly for right handed people, because I've never had one (because it's rare to find left handed gloves) but your review helped lots, thank you
I have a set of 5 multi coloured for variety haha! I resisted the urge to create own from hacks on YT out of socks and old gloves etc as many materials used can scratch your iPad screen. Fine scratches they may be, but scratches nonetheless. I’m a leftie and seriously following tutorials were a nightmare before I used the glove, as I constantly had drawing /palm marks on my artwork. Informative vid. Thanks.
So, I bought some a few years ago and like them. Oddly, UA-cam just decided to re-show me this four-year-old video after two years. One thing I did, to make it easier to type while wearing the glove, is I cut off the tips off the two fingers of the gloves. Only about ½". Then, I slipped each finger, in turn, over a metal cylinder about the size of my fingers, and used a lighter to barely melt the cut edges just enough to keep them from unraveling. This is something that kinda takes a knack to get right. But, I've melted a lot of seams over the years. Remember, melting too little is better than too much, so go slow. This makes it easier to type because your finger-tips can feel the keys better. And I've never had a problem with my finger-tips touching the screen when I didn't want them to.
I use it for drawing with the Sketchclub app. I have the same 'problem' (undo with 2 fingers, redo with 3 fingers). I have only my pinky finger 'gloved' and I've cut off the other 'finger' of the glove. Redo with 3 fingers works fine again and I don't miss the other 'finger'. I never touch the screen with that other finger 😜
For a second i was like hold up, how are you using an Apple Pencil 1st gen on an ipad pro but then realized it was uploaded a while ago, oops i am late haha.

It would be cool if they made the ring finger tip of the glove work on the screen for those that are used to using it. Seems like it would be easy to do. Thanks for the video. I was wondering about these.
my problem with my drawing glove in past: it was small and tall for my one finger and big and tall too for the other finger so they were a wrinkle at the end of finger. that spot being more wrinkled when i move my hand for lineart on tablet cover so i was thinking it's my art problem and i changed it with fit glove that has strong wrist area and it's solved! haha
My friend got me a pair because he thought it would be good for me after watching a bunch of these gloves review vids. Outside of the fabric it felt cheaply made, and no matter how long I wore it, I was getting agitated because in regards to the sense of touch, the fact that my palm wasn't fully covered was greatly annoying and distracting. And my fingers seemed too long for it. I bought a cheap pair of fingerless gloves and it worked far better for me which is, just a little embarrassing.
That was helpful to me. I saw a pair that had the pinky and ring finger tips bare. I will look up fingerless gloves now. Did they for your palm better as well.
there is a wacom glove that does not have the finger tips ... so it will allow you to keep using the double finger tap as you are used. From what i see now, it is slightly more expensive than this specific glove.
This helps me so much, because im right handed so when i draw i rest my hand on the ipad and then it sticks to my ipad and its so annoying so i find it so helpful ahh im so excited to use it.
Tuck the ring finger of the glove into the glove itself. That's what I do. I'm not sure why they put a ring finger on the glove, it really doesn't serve any purpose. I've been considering cutting that part of the glove off.
Because if you rest your hand on the surface while writing or drawing, the way I do, the top and right side of the ring finger tends to occasionally touch the screen. With the poor palm and hand detection, it gets super annoying always having to undo random strokes and dots. Two finger glove is a life saver :))
