Mr. Abnormal_Beings, I have conspiracy theories for those 4 dislikes. 1. Possibilities of Jamaicans hitting dislike icon thinking dis I like. 2. iPhone 4 users mistapping the like button. What is your answer?
You are the man. It's to bad that you have to be super lean in order to do some of these exercises. I've got a bit of a gut on me and I've never seen anyone do these types of movements that wasn't shredded.
Typically an elbowstand is when you place your elbows and forearms on the ground, like in a tigerbend. The position you are referring to at 3min is usually called "shelf."
Hey Bro! Love your stuff! I'm learning this right now! Tye progression is so slow, how long did it take you to do it, from the time you started to the point you could do it?
Fitness&Fighting About a year i think. At the start i struggled with handstand push ups but once you can do them comfortably and u have the elbow lever down you'll progress quicker
Abnormal_Beings yea I can do like two reps of handstand push ups right now! It fucking sucks! Sorry to be a pest mate but how do you devise your workouts through the week?
Fitness&Fighting No worries man and i usually train 3 times a week. push, pull, legs. On push days try doing handstand push ups on paralettes now or on a elevated surface so you can go deeper. Try them against the wall first then do them freestanding. 4 sets of 1-5 reps is a good challenge. Also because the HSPU is such an intense skill take long rests 3-7 min inbetween sets. Negative HSPU 3 sets of 1-5 reps and 2-3 sets of elbow lever 1-15 seconds. That should be enough volume for practicing the skill
Parallettes: "They are quite cheap. You can access them in your local fitness stores" Obviously you never been in Portugal :D Great job bud! Trying to achieve the basics in HSPU but its kinda hard for big guys
Yeah, that's what I thought! I think I'm pushing my body to the extreme since I take 2 to 2h and half every day of training. But the thing is that If I train only one hour or so I feel like my body didn't reach a good point of muscle saturation.
Marcos Pereira yeah i know what you mean. Just try practicing the skill at the start of your workouts when you have the most energy and if you do feel you're overdoing it rest for a day or two. you'll come back stronger
Also, Straddle 90 degree HSPU is a lot easier progression to the full 90 degree HSPU, love your vids bro.
Liked the vid before watching. Love your vids, bro
