I think this thing is for very light dewy makeup, not for setting tons of concealer with tons of powder!But it’s way too expensive for what it is. I agree they need to perfect the shade range and lower the price!

I went on this brand's website and saw some informations worth mentionning : the product are cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, without frangrance and paraben. Plus, it seems like an Indie brand, so it comes along the way that their products are a bit more expensive. I really believe that before judging the price, we need to see the net weight and compare it to other brand' similare products

You don't even need to buy this... Just get a cheap pack of stacking containers (I found some that were supposed to be used for sewing stuff), and just mix and match the products you actually use, from your own make-up bag, and put them into those containers! I did this once - played with some moisturizers in one container, some melted lipsticks mixed with coconut oil to use as blush in another container and, finally, some foundation in the last container, and voila, I have my own travel friendly batch. My point of all this was to still use the stuff I own and actually need, without having to spend too much money on the whole project. I get why some people think the product from the video is still too expensive, especially when you don't have a stable, sufficient income(just an example). Hope my tip helps
This is worth buying. I bought it out of curiosity. I work from 4.45 a.m to 8p.m. I don't touch up, ever. I don't have time for that. I work in healthcare. I run and walk a lot. I wear a mask on and off of my face. At the end of the day, my blush is there. My bronzer is there. My highlight is still luminous. Really. This product is worth buying.
"I'm very oily, let me dowse myself in highlighter." Of course the highlighter looked great at the end of the day girl, you have an oily skin type! I don't get why everyone does that. Highlighter makes you look shinier, so if you're already shiny, go easy sis.

I am oily af but i still like using dewy products and a lot of highlighter. So by the end of the day I look like a disco ball hahah
I wish I could find that kind of container so I can put my own makeup in them. I don't want to try out new makeup when I finally found the brands and shades that work for me.
Try searching attachable bead containers. You could get some from the dollar store ( my dollar store has them)or try the container store. You could also get separate containers by getting travel size containers.

Uhhh no. That makes absolutely no sense. You don't do your makeup in the morning and then touch it up later with completely different products in completely different colors. It's literally just regular makeup in more convenient to carry packaging. The packaging just makes it easier to do touch ups or do your makeup on the go without having to carry a whole makeup bag.

They make powder blush now. And the concealer is really meant to be used as a less is more and not necessarily so thick under the eyes. I’m almost 50 with very dry wrinkly under eyes and it doesn’t settle if I use it as a true corrector/concealer and don’t place it everywhere

I think companies should allow an option for this for their makeup line... but this is too expensive you can also do this yourself.
Like her I don’t like to touch up on my makeup so I can relate to the “If I am ugly by hour o’clock”. Only thing I like reapply is my lipstick/lip tint after eating.
Even though I am not an expert, I have so many constructive critics/recommandations about the application: 1- put less concelear since it seems pretty covering and thick, 2- press the powder, under the eyes, with a sponge so it give the maximum of products, 3- choose a blusher with less sheen, so it does not look like sweat at the end of the day.

I love your oily glow! I use oil foundation because I want that beautiful glow you have. My nasty dry skin, looks so gross as soon as I put any powder on my face. Some times I can get away with a super light dusting of loose powder on a light fluffy brush, but not often. The grass is always greener on the other side. Lol

Honestly the make up seems fine, just her talking about under eye creasing bothers me so much. Is that what we're hating about ourselves now? A slight amount of extra skin that you only notice if you're close enough to someone to be able to count their eyelashes?

When you apply a liquid or cream concealer and don’t set it the concealer will build up in the creases

Yeah she did not need all that concealer, she had no dark circles to speak of.
A tiny dot in the inner corner of her under eye nicely blended out, would have sufficed just fine, just for some brightening.

People complaining about the price either don't shop at Sephora, or don't know what they actually pay per gram for their cosmetics. Obviously it varies by brand but I literally just checked and saw that the per gram price in the Subtl concealer is basically the same as Nars. Couple that with the fact most people don't pay attention to what they spend on makeup cause it's a blush here, an eyeshadow there... and it's serious sticker shock when you're buying a full face worth at once. All I know is, I do travel a LOT. I am very minimal with my makeup when I go away and will happily use my single Hourglass holiday palette the entire time, for my entire face. I haven't tried this brand yet, but I'm for sure going to give them a shot in the future.

It's a bit expensive if you're usually into drugstore makeup, but I can definitely see this being worth it for someone who just wants a subtle everyday makeup look. I think the products seem good quality and very wearable. Although obviously the shade range leaves a lot to be desired. But there's so many way more expensive brands doing the same subtle look makeup I really don't think this is too pricey for what it is.

I don't touch up my makeup either, I figure I'll be hone soon! But I will lightly tap my eyelids with my fingers if I feel my lids are a little oily. It doesn't mess up my eyeshadow either. But that's about it. I idea of portable stack makeup sounds pretty good!
I like minimal makeup, so this would be amazing it it weren't so expensive. I won't pay 14$ for one tin at a time!

Try using a little less of the concealer as a little goes a long way. I am 52 and obviously have some fine lines under the eyes area. I try a very small mixture of the concealer with my under-eye cream (mix it up in the palm of my hand) and pat it on. Then I set it with the powder once the concealer/under-eye cream dries down. I get a much better result this way. I hope this helps! :)

isn’t this for touch ups though? as in... you do your makeup with your own products that work for your skin and you just use this to touch up during the day. with the little containers they give this is definitely not for a full face !
When I was a little kid we had the same thi nng with stackable eyeshadow and blush. This is nothing new necessarily but it is a good idea. Shouldn't be expensive at all

i hate touching up because i hate the idea of putting more makeup on top of my makeup. especially if i've powdered and layered up my blush and highlight and perfected that blend... the idea of putting concealer on top of that makes me shudder

Creasy undereyes often are because you put powder over creases - if you tap out the crease RIGHT before putting on powder - then you set it in place without creases!!

It would be better if you could use different brands in one stack. It’s rare that people use one brand for a full face unless it’s for a UA-cam testing video
