Gotta give it to AiC, they were and still are legends in their own right. Also during the benefit concert in 03 or something like that, Phil did vocals on “Would” which was pretty damn cool
That's facts though, they would've just taken over every single show. They pretty much did at that Moscow show w Metallica too. The most underrated band nowadays for sure.🥲
Right? I was born in 1995 so I had no existence back then lol but it’s crazy to think just a few years before were everybody was listening to bands like poison and Cinderella and other softer hair metal bands. I’m sure this was on another level that left peoples jaws open at the time. At least in the mainstream rock scene. Maybe I’m wrong since I wasn’t around back then though.
Phil was in great shape. Good voice and didn't get winded like a lot of energetic vocalists often do. I think this was probably his peak. Although the band itself would still get better and better.
@@dennismiklas6349 not! .heroin!!! Pure death...Phil died in a coma in 1996-7!!! That was and IS a miracle how tf IS living still....😶😶and still singing 💯💯🔥🔥
I hope the folks who were at this show do two things: 1. Remember it, and 2. Understand how truly special this was. I discovered Pantera later; I was in 7th grade when Far Beyond Driven came out and “I’m Broken” was blowing up. Been a die hard fan ever since. Unfortunately though, I never got the chance to see them live. They’re the only band out of probably my top ten favorite bands that I never saw, and it breaks my heart. Those who were lucky enough to see these guys live, be thankful. You saw something that will never be again. FOREVER STRONGER THAN ALL. FOR THE BROTHERS.

I'm old enough to have heard Pantera on college radio in 1990. The DJ had a promo copy of Cowboys from Hell and played Heresy off it. I recorded that show on to cassette and practically wore it our rewinding to play back the song again. To this day it's one of my favorite tracks by the band.
This is the best performance I’ve seen from pantera!!! This show!! Beats any other gigs !! I mean look at that !!!! 1:10 !!! The whole song was just insane!! And art of shredding !!
Agree to a good extent here..but I ALSO loved those middle '90s to the final 2000 one too! One of the best performances. Pantera is one of the best band of all time . I saw then 9 times. Nothing compares to the talent and energy this band had. Dimebag by far one of the guitarist I've ever seen . R.I.P.

Other metal heads have disagreed with me, but Pantera took thrash/metal and made it harder, heavier, faster. Kind of like Motörhead did in the 70's. AND they did it with GROOVE. They deserve all the credit in the metal world.

Youre smoking bad street meth if you think they are underrated. Even hip hop heads like them. Just a dumb take through and through@loganchavez6996
Pantera was THE best metal band in the 90s. A video like this proves it.
Underrated performance, how does this not have a million views?
Be glad it doesn’t, the old one got taken down.
What a show that would have been live.

Phil's voice is gold, both talking and singing.
"JEEEEEEESUS Christ"
Phenomenal. Next level energy and tightness. Imagine being a band and having to play on stage after these guys...
