One of the best versions ever made of this iconic song -- stunning, powerful, emotional, engaging, creative, beautiful. Pentatonix hits different -- hope you all enjoy ❤ Also PSA this is the last PTX analysis I did back in August before learning how to properly pronounce Kirstin's name so apologies for that -- I actually pronounce it correctly twice and incorrectly twice in this video so who knows what my brain was doing. Anyway, many of you have pointed that out to me, and this will be the last one where it's ~occasionally~ not correct. Much love 🙏
Mitch Grassi does more with the word ‘lamp’ than most singers can do with a whole damn verse. My god, he’s just such a master storyteller through song.
I personally LOVE hearing you talk. Hell, you can read the damn phonebook and I'll be happy. Also I appreciate your breakdown and analyses. Take your sweet time.
I agree. I've listened to dozens of reactors but I've never come across your channel until now. The second you began talking, there was no doubt that you are a singer! Beautiful speaking voice and I'm sure an equally beautiful singing voice! Love your discussion of the music, too.
I've found that what sets Pentatonix aside from other acapella groups is their ability to make their sound feel very organic in a way I don't think a lot of groups attain. I listen to a lot of music genres but acapella is my main, and in my listening experience I have found that the more human-sounding groups tend to be missing something and the more exaggerated sounding groups also tend to lack a certain humanity and realness to them, both things I think Pentatonix figured out and manage to bridge the gap beautifully on - That paired with the phenomenal talent, skill, hard work, and polished refinement each individual singer has, puts them on another level of music within the genre.
You were speaking about how Matt has done such an exceptional job filling Avi's shoes. I recently saw a live performance of hallelujah with Matt. It was so wonderful. He did an amazing job of singing his section of that song. He did not try to copy or be another Avi. It was more of a celebration of HIS unique abilities. He took it a completely different direction. Thank you for such an enjoyable and informative video. And as always... Hope and joy to you. Pass it on. =^;^=
The beauty of Pentatonix is the 3 Mitch, Kirsten, Scott grew up together. Their voices matured together and the beauty is they flow together, intertwine. Always reminds me of how smoke like from blown out candles flow in and around each other. Also, Scott never out sings the others. He knows when to float in with everyone else. There is never any fighting for the “listen to me” spot when it’s not their turn. BUT, if you listen you can pick out each voice if you listen. Perfect. Always a smooth flow.
Your "emotional nards" comment nearly made me choke on my lunch. ROFLMAO! In any case, fantastic analysis as always. This song has always been so haunting and this version adds a driving emotional urgency to that already melancholic feel. From the arrangement to the performance, it's just exquisite in every way.
I 100% agree! I, legit, just experienced utter humiliation, due to that lil gem of an adjective! 😬🤦♀️ I'm in the McDonald's parking lot right now, & just watched this vid, which was my first experience w/ this channel. I had JUST taken a sip of my iced coffee, when "Emotional nards" was mic dropped, which caused my coffee to go down the wrong 'pipe', because I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD! 😂🤣😂🤣 I could FEEL the people, in the neighboring car, staring at me, while I tried to compose myself. I was purposely not looking at them, due to my embarrassment, but I HAD to look when I heard 2 quick lil "beep beeps" of their horn. I looked next to me and saw 3 people, 2 men & 1 woman, with looks of worry & concern on their faces. The passenger rolled down his window & very kindly asked if I was choking & if I needed any help....... Oh, God, please just take me now! 🤦♀️ It was very nice of them to make sure I was OK, but I'm so embarrassed that I can literally FEEL how red my face is, & it's not from the coughing 😳 So, Peter, if you happen to read this message, I just wanna thank you for your very well made content/banter, the laughs, & helping to show, inadvertently, that there are still some truly KIND & COMPASSIONATE people left in the world. I'm definitely subbing & doing a deep dive into your past vids, when I get home later. I hope you, & everyone else, has a wonderful holiday, & I'm sorry for my novel length message! 🤣🤣 @Peter Barber
So true that Matt had big shoes to fill, and a passionate fan base to win over. It took some time for many of us to find room in our hearts to let him in, but I think he does a phenomenal job. Is it common for a bass range to deepen as singers get older? If so, is it probable that Matt will continue to extend the lower end of his range if he chooses to work on it? Love your detailed commentary and genuine appreciation for the skill of all PTX members. Always here for your reactions.
Yes, the bass voice does tend to deepen and get darker as the singer gets older, especially if they continue singing and training. If they don't, eventually the muscles will atrophy like all muscles do with old age, and the voice will become much weaker and lose range on both ends
He’s so positive. Kevin calls Matt his little brother. In concert Matt and Kevin have a complicated cello/cello boxing routine. They have such an outstanding rapport, and they take advantage of it!
I was just talking to a friend that I loved Avi but I feel like he held PTX a bit. Matt kind of helped them more versatile and really grow and soar I feel.
I must agree, PTX are the MASTERS of evoking lots of emotions in a song and also creating the real heart of the story of that song. I love Mitch's enunciation on the words and how he builds the emotions higher. And then Matt comes in with his rich voice and adding more punch to lead into Kirstie's role of taking it to the higher part of the song. Then Scott comes in again to push the last verse into overdrive and to the top of the song, or the top of the rollercoaster. And Kirstie's background is stunning and we get the height of Kevin's rhythm and percussion. Then they all come in together to draw you up into the heavens before they literally drop you back down to earth and the harmonies of that last "sound" doesn't quite let you go until they end in a soft and slow "silence". WOW !!! What a song. Love your analysis on this and hope to hear more from you on PTX songs.
Thank you. I've watched tons of Reacts/Reviews on this and everybody overlooks Scott's bass in verse 3. I was hoping this guy would throw and accolade his way being a bass singer, but alas.
@@helenat2446 they did tell it in one interview that they were double tracking for some of the recorded version (Like Halleluia, you can clearly hear Scott doing ouhh and ahhs with Kirstin and Mitch while he's replacing Avi, and here too you can here him doing other notes with the bass line he's should be singing! :p
This was the first reaction/video of yours that I have watched and I absolutely LOVED IT. I hate when vocal coaches or singers sit back and watch the video and make a 4 min video into a 7min video because they essentially add in how much they just love what they are doing....you broke it down, analysed it and then enjoyed it. I LOVE THAT! You appreciate them properly! Will definitely be watching more videos :)
That fifth verse is one of my favorite PTX moments in general, and that covered ‘a’ that Scott sings on “made” is absolutely my favorite moment from Scott. The first time I heard it, I thought, now there’s a singer who truly knows his own instrument. Love your reactions, man. Keep them coming.
I'm very much a layperson here. Much was made about the technique to get the sound, when I believe its the vocalization of the frustration in the actual meaning of the lyrics. Pentatonix never loses the meaning of a song. "The neon god they MADE!" Anger, frustration, being appalled at the idolatry of the wrong things. It's all there in those two words with the emphasis on the second.
You absolutely must watch and react to Aha live in Singapore. Many would argue it’s Mitch’s best live performance to date, and starts with some gorgeous harmonies and low notes. Also note you don’t see Kevin in the video but he is there he’s just putting his cello away at the beginning then the camera focuses on Mitch after he comes in.
I agree. Sound quality isn't the greatest because it was recorded from a cell phone. And the owner clearly loves Mitch because the camera is zoomed in on him almost the whole time. But all that aside, it is a truly remarkable performance that really showcases Avi and Mitch!
Agree with this 1000%. As a rule, I don't go to live events, but watching that made me decide an exception was in order. The intensity in the Singapore video is just absolutely riveting. PSA if you decide to watch it: Kevin is there to Scott's left. He's just missing at the very beginning because he was wrapping up his Cello/beatbox solo, but he slips in shortly after it starts and the camera never panned back to him.
Just so you don't lose the suggestion, I'm gonna be a broken record and say I truly hope you do PTX's New Rules x Are You That Somebody mashup in the near future. The focus on Kevin and Matt producing the Timbaland beat just seems totally up the alley for what you do on this channel. Thanks for the enjoyment!
As always I truly enjoyed your review and analysis. For me, Matt was a totally natural addition to the group and I found his voice and range phenomenal for the very first time with Mat there I don't miss Avi much at all. I think part of what you're seeing and reacting to with him is his professional classical training which I suspect you are already now aware of that. I hope you'll examine their cover of Can You Feel the Love Tonight. Matt truly stands out in that from the virst note. But no matter what I'll be following you closely and enjoying your comments and reviews. Also, I find YOUR voice truly exceptional. Thank you!
Subscribed. I listen to dozens of reactors, but most of them just say variations on "wow." and "how beautiful" and "I love Mitch." It's extremely pleasing to hear someone who is both knowledgeable and good at communicating that knowledge. :) So, for Pentatonix, you've done the holy trinity (SoS, Hallelujah and Daft Punk) and one modern one. Of the "must see" group you still need Bohemian Rhapsody - it's really incredible and Brian May gave it his nod of approval, which has to mean something. The ENTIRE new album "The Lucky Ones" is spectacularly good. And the deluxe version has added five more songs that are just ... I can't. I've run out of superlatives. Even/especially the ones that don't have videos yet - just the visualizer, so you can concentrate on the sounds. But really - while there's songs I like better than others, I've yet to hear a Pentatonix song that didn't make me say "wow" and "how beautiful" and "I love Mitch/Scott/Kirsten/Kevin/Avi/Matt." And then there's the side projects like Superfruit (Scott/Mitch) and solo albums by each member. One a week? Jesus. Even at one a day you'd have almost a year lined up. Have a good run at this rabbit hole. You'll like it. :)
You can see in this song not only has Scotts worked on his low range (he has been slowly increasing it over the years. or at least getting stronger and more natural in his already existing low range) but Kirsty has worked on her belting and her own low range. She is adding a lot more smokiness to her singing in newer songs.
Happily one of the 98% I so appreciate your perspective man, different than anything I've seen. I feel like Scott's deeper range has grown with time and that's explored more since Matt has come in, especially with Matt's high range. Like notably that was where he was during Matt's verse here I think. It's cool to me the freedom that gives to both of them.
Scott has been working on his range for years now (they all have which is kind of scary being they started with large ranges to begin with) plus male voices automatically get a little deeper as they age.
You are a true musician and vocalist. There are so many “vocalists” doing reaction videos who couldn’t sing themselves out of a paper bag. You have a firm grasp of musical theory and vocal technique, and it’s refreshing to see! Regarding Scott’s final solo: I don’t think he modified the vowel much. Instead, I think he sang the diphthong instead of keeping the soft pallet raised throughout. Normally, this will cause some extra strain as it constricts space, and I did hear this slightly for Scott, but he did a great job utilizing his nasal passages to resonate.
Yes, there are plenty of other reactors out there, but not many who have your knowledge and experience. Thank you for sharing both with us. Their cover of "Mad World" is astonishing.
And that's why I like you and have subscribed! Do I love the mind blowing reactions from those who are just discovering PTX - of course! But anyone can do that.. you explain so much and I love that even more ❤️
You have a unique perspective. A perspective that lends itself specifically to this genre...and you know what you're talking about. It's refreshing to get academic/knowledgable reactions, not just unsubstantiated opinions often limited by knowledge/experience. (Which is fine too, but this is more) You'll keep climbing with the subs if you keep doing what you're doing.
Undeniably amazing! Mitch starts singing, and all my senses start melting, every time! ❤ He really is awesome!! Thanks for a great reaction and analysis! 💖
I love it when Mitch does high harmony above Kirsten like in this one and how he supported the third verse from Matt when it got to that higher phrase. These five work well together.
WOW!!!! This is Absolutely incredible!!!! Love Mitch and his Angelic voice! This is one of the best Versions I have heard. Love Pentatonix!!! Listen to this version it doesn't times and it never gets old.Just Phenomenal!!!
I must admit peter I believe hand on heart you are the best analysis/reaction UA-camr I've came across, to a point where your breakdowns have helped me improve myself as im a bit of a noobie at the bass singing 😁
There's an Italian guy that reviewed 3 PTX songs (including this one, Amazing Grace and one other) that is also extremely knowledgeable, but if you're mono-lingual like me, you need to read the sub-titles. Happily, whoever did them did a really good job. He also pointed out a ton of things I wouldn't notice. I wish I could provide a link. (goes looking.... 10 minutes later - you'd be friggin' AMAZED at how many SoS reactions are out there...) ua-cam.com/video/Poyadh0mIAQ/v-deo.html (edited because I originally said "Spanish" instead of "Italian.")
@@barbarabishop9362 yes, Roberto! He's Italian and he has done wonderful analysis on PTX. And yes, there's English subtitles, but it's also a bonus to hear him speak his beautiful language. "Profundo y rotundo!" 🙂
I am now a part of that 98% who just came from your Daft Punk one. And I don't mind taking it almost 30 minutes when it is better, full of details, new learnings, and deep analysis than my 3-hours subjects in online classes. :)) Thank you!!!!!
I just found you and I love it when good singers analyze rather than just react. I am an old choir geek and I wish I had kept up my singing (I lost my soprano range by only singing for fun). I love a cappella because it brings me back to those choir days and PTX is the best by far! I am also an old folky and I didn't think anyone could do The Sound Of Silence as well as S & G but PTX blew me away! Thank you for this great analysis, I learned a lot. I am now subscribed.
Fun to see/hear a young pop (mostly) guy pick up on he subtle vowel mods. I’m a 75 yr old classical (opera/sacred) major who is obsessed with Pentatonix. Thank you so very much!
I’ve watched a zillion PTX reactions and analysis since 2013 but I just found your video now. Man, I instantly fell in love with your musical intelligence. Thank you 🙏🏼
I'm really impressed with your commentary. I love the Pentatonix and you obviously understand many levels of what they are doing. What you say reveals a high level of musicianship. Thank you!
Your breakdown of this, my all time favorite Pentatonix, left me absolutely agog. Now I'm going to have to search out more of your reactions, including other artists, which I'll have to 'squeeze in' between my bouts of Pentatonix addiction. Thank you for this.
I didn't see anyone else drop this comment yet, so I apologize if it's redundant but it's a point well worth making. Many of us consider there to be a sort of Holy Trinity of The Sound Of Silence: S&G - the original artists, sung as a warning Disturbd - anger/despair that the warning has been ignored PTX - a return to the intricate harmonies & layering that is a reiteration of the warning along with a hopefulness that maybe it's not too late to pay attention and make changes. As much as I enjoy watching laypeople get Mitch slapped and just general reactions, I most enjoy watching deep dives by people knowledgeable enough to break down the details and relatable enough to make it accessible for all levels. I miss the days of being able to play music at a serious level, and having this is almost the next best thing to being back on stage with an orchestra or nerding out with my other musician friends. There are a handful of really good reactors who give this kind of analysis and I really appreciate it.
I'm much closer to the layperson end of the music spectrum, but I absolutely agree with Beth Clarke- I love the deep dives, and I'll be looking for more. Thanks!
I completely agree with you about the holy trinity. You explained it perfectly. I had never really thought of it in that way. But then I have been living under a rather large rock as I had never heard of PTX until a few days ago when a friend sent me a message with SOS by them. I was blown away! She knows I love acapella groups and SOS. We are both in our 60's and remember when S&G first put it out. I turned her on to Disturbd's version. She liked it too. Guess we're not too old to appreciate new takes on a great song, huh? Great talent comes in all age groups and in all genres of music! She and I can both appreciate them all!
I follow a lot of reactors to Pentatonix and I have to admit that I love your reactions because they are a bit more technical than just "OMG I love them" kind of reaction. Please continue, this is awesome.
Peter, I have become fascinated listening to your analysis. I know nothing of music except how it moves thru me. But your description and honing of the structure of music is beautiful to me. Thanks
Dude! Why haven't I ever seen your critiques before? The moment I stumbled onto Pentatonix, I was completely hooked! I usually love their covers more than the originals as their harmonies send shivers across my entire body! It was so refreshing and reassuring to hear your analysis... I no longer feel alone! Their version has always given me CHILLS and brought tears to my eyes. Everytime I hear it, is like the first with the emotion u feel listening to it. I love your and Tomi's versions as there is that deeper intensity to it. I love this one equally as much, I love to hear just how awesome a song can be in SOOOO many renditions. I love it. And thank u for taking the time, I agree, those 2% can find a new reactor bc I just love how detailed your critiques are and wouldn't change a thing, well, maybe to hear more lol
I'm not sure how my smartphone and I stumbled onto yout Reaction and Analysis of Pentatonix' "Sound of Silence" but I sure am glad I did. I've watched hundreds of UA-cam videos from computer upgrades to car maintenance to woodworking tips and on and on and on. They all want me to Like and Subscribe. Yours is the First and Only channel I've ever subscribed to (and, obviously "Liked"). You are amazingly detailed in your analyses and (because I'm an engineer) I REALLY appreciate that. Keep up the good work. My next task is to dig up and listen to all your other UA-cam postings. Thank SO MUCH for your time and effort posting these.
Great analysis as usual. So nice to hear from someone who actually knows what he is talking about and not just filling it with fluff. Can't wait to hear your analysis on "Aha" Live at the Star Vista Singapore! Have you watched any of Avi's solo videos?
thank you. I love geeking out to your nerdy analysis. music done well is Talent combined with skill in The Craft and you explain it and expand upon it wonderfully! I will be a repeat listener!
I love, just love your reaction and analysis of Pentatonix, so great to listen to you, really educating me, I am a fan of Pentatonix, I think they are incredible, they must have to put so much time to create such beautiful music, thanks for you analysis xx
I only heard this version recently and had NO IDEA that Scott could sing so low as he often goes fairly high as well. His range is ridiculous! Though, they are all amazingly versatile in what they can do!
What a wonderful review. I'm one of the 98% that appreciate your knowledgeable and constructive insights along the way as this song was critiqued and viewed for your audience. The 2%ers can go someplace else to get there pablum!

I agree. Sound quality isn't the greatest because it was recorded from a cell phone. And the owner clearly loves Mitch because the camera is zoomed in on him almost the whole time. But all that aside, it is a truly remarkable performance that really showcases Avi and Mitch!
He may not be ready for the Star Vista... but then again, who is ever ready for *THAT* Mitch slap?
I agree!
6:15 "You can see me just melt when Mitch starts singing." You and me both, brother. You and me both. Since 2013. And it never stops.
I agree. Love this arrangement and Kevin and Matt are insane.
I agree. In case you haven't see it Jacob Restituto just dropped a reaction to New Rules.
Agreed 🙌
Keep suggesting it because it’s one of my faaaaaaavorites
Scott is so charismatic. I love what he does with his hands.
You can see in this song not only has Scotts worked on his low range (he has been slowly increasing it over the years. or at least getting stronger and more natural in his already existing low range) but Kirsty has worked on her belting and her own low range. She is adding a lot more smokiness to her singing in newer songs.
Happily one of the 98%
I so appreciate your perspective man, different than anything I've seen.
But anyone can do that.. you explain so much and I love that even more ❤️
Pentatonix breaks me out in goosebumps from head to toe
Mitch has the most beautiful and pure voice I have ever heard
"emotional Nards" :-) lol I'd love to see what you think of their Amazing Grace cover or Run To Me
You have a unique perspective.
I spit my drink when you said Pentatonix kicked you in the emotional nards! 😂🤣😂🤣love it.
I love it when Mitch does high harmony above Kirsten like in this one and how he supported the third verse from Matt when it got to that higher phrase. These five work well together.
I'm not crying, you are.
My favorite bassline of any of Pentatonix's covers is from their version of Can You Feel The Love Tonight
Absolutely!
Yes! That bass line is so dynamic
Mary Did You Know? One of my top five favorite Pentatonix songs.
I get chills every time I hear them sing this song. AMAZING!
WOW!!!! This is Absolutely incredible!!!! Love Mitch and his Angelic voice! This is one of the best Versions I have heard. Love Pentatonix!!! Listen to this version it doesn't times and it never gets old.Just Phenomenal!!!
Yes, I have it on a loop...that's how much I like it!
10 minutes later - you'd be friggin' AMAZED at how many SoS reactions are out there...)

(edited because I originally said "Spanish" instead of "Italian.")
@@barbarabishop9362 yes, Roberto! He's Italian and he has done wonderful analysis on PTX.
And yes, there's English subtitles, but it's also a bonus to hear him speak his beautiful language. "Profundo y rotundo!" 🙂
They sound as good, or better, when performing live 😊 SERIOUSLY!!!
I am now a part of that 98% who just came from your Daft Punk one. And I don't mind taking it almost 30 minutes when it is better, full of details, new learnings, and deep analysis than my 3-hours subjects in online classes. :)) Thank you!!!!!
Thanks!
Thank you for all that you do! I am not on Patreon and not planning on joining anytime soon. So I will be expressing my appreciation here.
You are spot on about the blend of voices: nothing prepares you for PTX! Thanks for posting.
Pentatonix has a pure "voice" which is why it resonates with people so much. It's the idea of an angelic sound 🫶
They sing amazing grace and it's absolutely incredible definitely worth watching that one
Thank you!
You’re face makes me get chills when you Listen to it it’s makes the emotion. more powerful
Your breakdown of this, my all time favorite Pentatonix, left me absolutely agog. Now I'm going to have to search out more of your reactions, including other artists, which I'll have to 'squeeze in' between my bouts of Pentatonix addiction. Thank you for this.
I would love to hear your reaction and analysis of Pentatonix' version of Amazing Grace.
I watched your face while you were listening 👂 and I so noticed all the emotions you felt. . . .you were really feeling it. I like that.
first time hearing of ths guy and OMG,that voice has me mesmerized love it
I didn't see anyone else drop this comment yet, so I apologize if it's redundant but it's a point well worth making. Many of us consider there to be a sort of Holy Trinity of The Sound Of Silence:
S&G - the original artists, sung as a warning
Disturbd - anger/despair that the warning has been ignored
PTX - a return to the intricate harmonies & layering that is a reiteration of the warning along with a hopefulness that maybe it's not too late to pay attention and make changes.
Thanks!
This is brilliant. The holy trinity.
Guess we're not too old to appreciate new takes on a
great song, huh?
Great talent comes in all age groups and in all genres of music! She
and I can both
appreciate them all!
I adore them and the song. But let’s just take a moment to appreciate the dulcet tones of your speaking voice oh yes! 🙌🏼
Love the knowledge and love for music you have. Pentatonix are the best at what they do and never fail to give me goose bumps.
I follow a lot of reactors to Pentatonix and I have to admit that I love your reactions because they are a bit more technical than just "OMG I love them" kind of reaction. Please continue, this is awesome.
Thanks for your analysis! You go beyond what I notice, and I appreciate your invitation to listen a little closer.
Music is emotional. It’s the tightness of the chords and movement between them. Pentatonix does this really well. I love their arrangements.
REACT TO YOU’RE A MEAN ONE MR GRINCH! Matt sings solo the entire time, and Scott does bass throughout the entire thing!
While reactions are cool, it's your analysis I really enjoy.
What a beautiful voice you have... Your work is marvelous and accurate. TKS
Everytime I hear Mich I swear I get goosebumps like crazy! So in love with his voice 🥰
I love watching some of their stuff on TikTok. Sometimes they'll give you some raw, live singing. Always makes me smile
Peter, I have become fascinated listening to your analysis. I know nothing of music except how it moves thru me. But your description and honing of the structure of music is beautiful to me. Thanks
Thank you Peter for bringing all this analysis to us. Learning from you guy, keep up the great work!
Your voice is so soothing and beautiful. I could listen to you read the dictionary. I love the commentary and breakdown of the songs you do!
This critique was so incredible. Thank you for taking the time to break it down to heighten the enjoyment ❤
Wow - This was Great; the song, the evaluation...everything. Thanks Bass Singer
Dude! Why haven't I ever seen your critiques before? The moment I stumbled onto Pentatonix, I was completely hooked! I usually love their covers more than the originals as their harmonies send shivers across my entire body! It was so refreshing and reassuring to hear your analysis... I no longer feel alone! Thank you.
Because of your musical knowledge and the way you critique/react to them, you gained my sub based off of this one reaction. You’re a phenomenal reactor! Honestly. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Music that brings emotion is one of the most special things about being a human! Love that from you! Amazing video
Great reaction Peter, I just love how you melt listening to good music 🤗
Their version has always given me CHILLS and brought tears to my eyes. Everytime I hear it, is like the first with the emotion u feel listening to it. I love your and Tomi's versions as there is that deeper intensity to it. I love this one equally as much, I love to hear just how awesome a song can be in SOOOO many renditions. I love it. And thank u for taking the time, I agree, those 2% can find a new reactor bc I just love how detailed your critiques are and wouldn't change a thing, well, maybe to hear more lol
So appreciate you knowledgeable critique- makes the videos that much more meaningful.
Congrats on 10k dude!
Thanks, Luke! 🙏🏼
My favorite part is that final quiet unison note. Perfection.
This song was my husband's favorite sadly we lost him to cancer. I listen to it in memory of a truely remarkable man😥
I’m so sorry for your loss - I hope this song can bring you some peace ♥️
@@PeterBarber thank you
I'm not sure how my smartphone and I stumbled onto yout Reaction and Analysis of Pentatonix' "Sound of Silence" but I sure am glad I did.
Your voice makes my speakers 🔊 vibrate and my fingers tickle
They just keep getting better and better at the years pass. When you think they have nailed something they come back and drop another a+++ track
When you have time you should react to Pentatonix's new cover that dropped a couple days ago of "The Prayer"
Great analysis as usual. So nice to hear from someone who actually knows what he is talking about and not just filling it with fluff. Can't wait to hear your analysis on "Aha" Live at the Star Vista Singapore! Have you watched any of Avi's solo videos?
You are just immaculate!!!! I absolutely love what you do!!! I am a fan!!!
thank you. I love geeking out to your nerdy analysis. music done well is Talent combined with skill in The Craft and you explain it and expand upon it wonderfully! I will be a repeat listener!
Very classy reaction/analysis. And I could listen to you talking till tomorrow lol.
I'm going to rollercoaster that voice!! lol
Stunning version, and I love Pentatonix and their art.Thx for reacting and bringing them up again
Dude, I love you discectomy of this video. I indeed learned buckets from this video. I SUBSCRIVED pronto!
What a wonderful review. I'm one of the 98% that appreciate your knowledgeable and constructive insights along the way as this song was critiqued and viewed for your audience. The 2%ers can go someplace else to get there pablum!
