How about a video about technique, more specifically how Ellen gets by playing basses with her smaller hands. It might help inspire other younger, smaller musicians who are intimidated by instruments with such long necks. And also, I've heard references made to smaller basses in one or two of your videos, but all the basses I've seen her play look full-size to me. Can you clarify that? Does she play basses that have 34 inches from bridge to nut? Does she play smaller basses? For some reason it's not easy to tell by just watching.
It would also be cool to see a video with Rick Beato as a guest with Ellen and Hovak, or with E&H as guests on his channel. Maybe have some of Rick's kids on as well, since they are all musicians.
I don't know what's cooler. A room full of top shelf equipment, or a father and daughter having so much fun hanging out with each other. Peace, from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Hey Hovak, beyond the incredible musicianship, what I love and few talk about it is your video production. Filming, editing, effects, closeups, lights, camera, action.. I know so much goes behind presenting these stunning videos on UA-cam week after week. This isn't easy at all. Maybe you want to do a video on video production.
I also love the fact that you're a completely DIY guy, and also involve your daughter in everything you do. Reminds me of a decade ago when I used to take my daughter to Home Depot kids workshop, and then we used to pick up all defective lumber from Home Depot at discount, and come home and do all backyard carpentry.
You guys set a dad-daughter goal!! ♥
BTW, love the ATEM Mini. I first saw it in a review video of PhotoJoseph and immediately bought it. Done so many sessions with it. Its one of the best camera gears you can think of. Esp if you're in live streaming, live editing kinda situation.

This was a great video to watch. Ellen playing live for you on the recorder (@3:20) was nice to see. Seeing the two of you having a lot of fun redecorating the studio reminds me of all those times my father and I did things together. You must have had a lot of fun making, and editing, this.
The Victor Wooten artwork and the Stingray with Ellen's name on the inlay are just two of the many things that are great but if there is one thing I like to hear it's Ellen playing (or practicing) on the gorgeous frettless bass.

I love how she doesn't know the details of the first basses but when she gets to her main bass she knows everything down to the pick guard.

I wish I had a studio, and a sponsorship with an amp maker, and a daughter who plays bass guitar. Though, I'm pretty happy with what I have, my dream bass (Ibanez SRF 706), a completely portable battery powered bass amp, and a dad who plays drums. Go musical families!

I loved your tour. I have a very old Pioneer tape deck, CT-F9191, that looks similar to the one you have. It’s a great deck. After all these years of playing it, it still works even though a couple of lights have burned out. I really like it when you and Ellen play together. Sir, you are a remarkable father.

Lots of really great equipment. Just one question I didn't see Ellen's square stool. I've been watching since she had to stretch to reach the top of her instrument and she had to rest the bass on her hip cause it was just to heavy to hold but whe she'd sit on that stool feet barley reaching to middle brace was just to cute. I've enjoyed watching this talented young lady grow in her size and ability and oh yea let's not forget that gorgeous smile. Just sayn I'm a fan.

That Hoffner is a beautiful piece, it looks just like McCartney's.
Looks nice. I think you live in Southern California too. I have all the same camera gear too. I like to keep everything stored in my camera bag in case there is an earthquake. I also use an earthquake strap on all TV and cabinets. Make sure your guitars are secure on the walls with straps. Last Northridge quake I had many things break and fall down. I learned my lesson.

As much as I like the studio, I think I like the editing of the video just as much! You did an incredible job with the video from the video to the audio synching the two together. I love the transitions and the music choices for the video too! ALSO, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I LOVE THE RELATIONSHIP AND FUN YOU AND YOUR DAUGHTER HAVE TOGETHER!!! I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the remake and the tour of your studio it was nice having a little chat with you and your dad. I can’t wait for the big surprise in your new video. I use a Focusrite for my interface and Ableton 11 and software plugins . I use a Sterling Audio microphone Yamaha monitor speakers my Daw is a custom built dual boot with an Intel I 5 and 16 gb of ram .A nice little home studio. Your equipment is amazing.
