D*** good piano demo-shows depth of lower registers and articulations in the mid and upper, well done! hard to believe this module was this old, sounds pretty amazing even in 2022. I bought one after listening to your beautiful playing. What sound system did you put this through to record this demo on UA-cam? and what are using as a controller? I am using a TP40 Fatar action and a Korg RHII in another. Thanks.
Ciao! Thanks for your comment... As you can understand from the video I'm not a pianist 🤣😁 I just wanted to let everybody listen to the sound 😁 Yes, this old module is still "sincere" in 2022. And its strength comes out in live concerts: it is always present with all other instruments! Here it was direct into pc soundboard. As controller I used a Studiologic SL 73 (just the TP 100 keybed, not efficacious as the TP40)
Do you experience the same 'REVERB SEND' problem I do with my P50-m ? If I want some reverb applied to the active voice I have to crank the REVERB SEND setting to max (127) to hear some reveb effect.. I read the P50-m uses cheap BBD IC's for the inside reverb.. So I-it the same with you module ? Thanks for replying.
ciao, thanks for comment. I never experienced this kind of problem, but I used it many years ago, during the 90's 🙂, so maybe I do not remember... (and recently - 4 years ago - I turned it on just for this video, using factory presets). sorry, I do not have it anymore, so I'm not able to make experiments...
I don't think the P50m could be considered a replacement for the acoustic instrument in classical solo applications - but that's not what it's designed for. There's nothing like the real thing, but unfortunately, a real piano isn't a practical option for most people, especially those working in a MIDI environment.
@Zampan0 yes, agree. Considering its age, it still make the job for a live pop/rock group. I remember using it more than 20 years ago and it worked great on stage 👍
Grazie ancora! ;)
I miss my old Clavinova Pf P100. That piano sound was amazing at the time!
This thing sounds amazing
Yes, agree!
80 euros for a great sounding "vintage" piece of gear 😊
Thanks for comment 👍
@@marcoballa I got it for 30 Euros. WIll pick it up today. It sound better than many new VSTs.

Sounds beautiful!
yes, considering it is a 20 years old machine :-))))

On that intro arpegio, the last two notes sound as flat as a pancake. I guess that's why we stretch tune real ones.
