  • San Marino-based Eccentrica Cars has boldly unveiled its latest project, breathing new life into the iconic Lamborghini Diablo and catapulting it into the 21st century. This limited-edition restomodded Diablo represents a seamless fusion of classic design and modern innovation, capturing the hearts of automotive enthusiasts worldwide.
At the heart of Eccentrica's masterpiece lies a formidable powerhouse-a V12 engine that has undergone an impressive transformation. This evolved 5.7-liter V12 now delivers a staggering 550 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and generates 442 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm. With valvetrain modifications playing a significant role in its enhanced performance, this Diablo boasts remarkable power compared to its predecessor, which debuted in 1990 with 492 horsepower and 426 pound-feet of torque. Complementing the engine's prowess is a captivating exhaust system by Capristo, which promises an exhilarating auditory symphony.
Beyond its formidable power, the Diablo has received a comprehensive aesthetic makeover, both inside and out. Eccentrica's collaboration with renowned design studio BorromeodeSilva has resulted in a strikingly refreshed exterior. Inspired by the legendary GTR model, the designers have meticulously reshaped the Diablo's body, leaving only the windshield untouched. Bumpers, hood, side skirts-all have been meticulously reimagined, and the vehicle now showcases a muscular body kit, concealed headlights with retractable covers, and hexagon-shaped intakes that expertly channel air to the radiators. Every angle exudes a sense of modernity while paying homage to the car's timeless allure.
The interior of the modern-day Diablo brilliantly balances the nostalgia of the early 1990s with contemporary luxury. Eccentrica has diligently preserved the spirit and layout of the original Diablo while infusing it with modern styling cues and premium materials. Alcantara-upholstered seats, a reinterpretation of the iconic Diablo steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster with a touch of retro charm await those who venture inside. The center stack showcases an array of square buttons, while the center console features toggle switches and a gated shifter, evoking a sense of tactile control reminiscent of classic supercars.
Performance remains at the forefront of Eccentrica's vision for the Diablo. With an estimated 0-62 mph acceleration time of 3.5 seconds and an impressive top speed of 208 mph, this restomodded masterpiece is poised to deliver an exhilarating driving experience. To complement the increased power, Eccentrica has equipped the Diablo with a Brembo-designed braking system, featuring six-piston front calipers that effortlessly grip substantial slotted rotors. The wider track and enhanced chassis stiffness ensure optimal handling, making every twist and turn on the road a thrilling adventure.
Limited to just 19 units, each Eccentrica Diablo offers a bespoke experience to its discerning owners. Personalization options abound, from choosing the perfect paint color to selecting premium upholstery and trim materials. Eccentrica's commitment to exclusivity ensures that no two examples will ever be identical, allowing owners to revel in the uniqueness of their automotive masterpiece.
With a starting price of €1.2 million (approximately $1.3 million), excluding options and the donor car, acquiring an Eccentrica Diablo is a testament to one's appreciation for automotive excellence. The meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail result in a production timeline of 16 to 18 months, further highlighting the dedication invested in each vehicle.
Eccentrica Cars has truly achieved an automotive marvel, resurrecting the Lamborghini Diablo and transforming it into a modern legend. With its captivating design, awe-inspiring performance, and personalized approach, the Eccentrica Diablo epitomizes the marriage of heritage and innovation, delivering an unparalleled driving experience that will leave enthusiasts yearning for a glimpse of this extraordinary machine.

The outter apperance is on point. The engine could be more powerful considering the weight plus it's a V12 in a lamborghini that needs a race wing, & yeah a wing may slow it down a little, but you gotta flex hard at every angle. The rims absolutely must be deep dish and masculine with all that girth. When you get inside a ride that looks like this, it should feel like your sitting in a cockpit of a stealth bomber, not playing the atari 22 hundred. Don't get me wrong with my constructive criticism, I love lamborghini's and this Restmod is by far the sexist bodystyle of them all. I build Lamborghini R.C. Cars all day. I'm definitely a fan.

The dashboard needs a redesign. The angle and lack of shroud means you're getting horrible glare on a sunny day. Also, there doesn't appear to be a sound system from what i can see. Removing the cluster of buttons and adding an infotainment system would solve a lot of issues with the design.

    • @teabaggins3517

Infotainment system with big ass display gets dated quickly. Buttons will look good in 50 years from now.

@@teabaggins3517 Infotainment systems can be updated and swapped out with relative ease, it's what makes them a good option. They've modernised the exterior and then made it look very dated on the interior with those cheap looking buttons.

Fun fact: if you own a 90's 300ZX and are looking for some stylish headlights, you can just buy the ones from these Lamborghini cars and put it on your Nissan as a direct fit. Lamborghini Diablos used those same headlights from a Nissan 300ZX.

Beautiful project - but there is nothing 'staggering' about 550hp from a V12 in 2023. The Ferrari 812 Competizione V12 produces 830hp (at 9500rpm!)

    • @_ammar_siddiqui

bro, not everything is power, this car looks like it doesn't weigh much more than it is a restomod, it will have a lot of carbon fiber for sure, with 500hp it's fine, if you look at the stock gtr35, it's still fast with 500hp, and that's what it is A heavy car and still holding up well to this day.

@@JOSELUISGARCIA-pi8kv it's not about power ,but the advancements to the engine is not much , they only got 58 more hp than the stock diablo , and the later versions of diablos got 550hp stock from the company 25 years ago , you are paying over 1.5 million dollars for a car that does not even have 100hp per litre which is really common nowadays

@@ltvddvtl Aerodynamically in the case of the Countach, the later Diablos had a wing that was tested in the aero tunnel. And, this being a modern car, you can always put a modern wing that is well optimized

Wait....1.3 Million Dallors that do not account for the Donor Car and the Options for the project? And you get a car that looks like one that is based on a later Model of the same car. That is a pure rip-off.
