I love how every Foo member looked at Shane every once in a while to chceck if he's alright and give him the support he surely needed. But God, he nailed those songs and made his dad proud!
I truly love how Shane seamlessly kicked it up quite a few notches for the second song. Definitely a true talent. I am seriously impressed even more with Shane. Absolutely awesome and amazing. :)
@@gregatron11 yeah he has great skills but he needs more time to develop his style and just be a better drummer overall. I'm a drummer too, I've been playing for over a decade and I can tell you drumming is something you never stop learning, there's always something new to learn.
@@mariewilliams8859 his dad's advice to him - was something like. Don't just learn to love to play the drums. to learn to play a song. I forget the exact quote, but it was good advice - and it seems like Shane took it to heart. :)
Seeing Shane channel his father through the drums is a testament to how passionate and consuming rock can be. And watching Dave sing "My Hero" as an honest tribute to Taylor was heartwarming.
Best drumming face EVER,bar none. Also he's everything that's beautiful in this 🌎. A shiny beautiful incredible talented young man whose got the world by the short and curlies. His dad is so proud
I love how Dave is mentoring Shane every step of the way every beat of the drum from the very start making sure he acknowledged the crowd behind him as well...he is constantly grooming him to become great which he is well on his way..I mean wow!
I have to leave a comment here. Knowing Dave personally as he was my neighbor for some years on a particular beach in Ventura county I won't mention which one...... Hollywood beach😁. Dave will definitely look after Shane. Dave is a total family man and one of the most genuine people I know. My heart hurts for him right now and the Hawkins family😢. Shane has a bright future and I know Dave will help him every step of the way. Will Shane take his dad's place behind the drums? It makes sense to me!
Yep, Shane is more then qualified to sit at the kit as he's shown us all what he's capable of. It's kinda like Rufus Taylor who's dad I don't think I need to name lol. These kids are the next generation and how freaking epic is it that we get to watch? Goosebumps everytime I watch this and watching Shane break into I'll stick around is perfectly done. 16 freaking years old!!!
WOW OH WOW!!!!! IT makes me SO PROUD of Taylor’s son Shane to see that he was able to learn how to TRULY ROCK dare I say HARDER than his father, of course to play in honor of him BUT DAVE & THE rest of the Foo Fighters BETTER HIRE him & take him under their wings, he seriously KILLED THOSE DRUMS & MADE his POP PA’ PROUD!!! 🤘🏼😆 🤘🏼 ROCK ON DUDE!!!
So cool to see him running past his mother after the performance .. the last thing a young kid wants to do is run into the arms of his mama after a sweaty rock gig!! Good on him!
..but good, i hope he can have a good cry backstage, and all the support from his mum he definitly needs.... No need to act tough, when youŕe actually in pieces....
thats awesome that there is a tribute to Taylor, he was an awesome drummer. How about a tribute to the best drummer in the world, the professor hands down,
Espero que ele tenha uma carreira de músico de sucesso , mas não podemos lembrar dele somente como filho do Taylor mas sim com Shene um grande baterista .
Ehh theres this guy Matt Garstka hes most likley the worlds best currently drummer from Animals As Leaders. But this kid here has got all the talent he needs to be sucessfull
A truly gifted young man. But what keeps me thinking all the time - Wasn't the touring of the band getting too much for Taylor? Actually the reason why he shot down? I'm not sure if all this was really the way to honour him - letting aside seeing his son being dragged into the same circus that killed his Daddy and leaves him to live without him.
grohl won't let the money machine go, they'll tour with shane hawkins I guarantee it, they can keep making money and make it look like they're honoring Taylor, Led Zep quit touring after John Bonham died and so did Nirvana after Kurt Cobain died, but grohl won't do the honorable thing IMO which is fold the band, when is enough money Enough??

Certainly did his dad very proud with that performance 🫶🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Unbelievable how this kid just tears that kit up!!
He hits the shit out of those drums. Like Dave used to.
Dave still does!
Like his Dad, Taylor, used to.
Dave is still amazing. He just wants different things now.
Hahahaha! True! 😂
Yea I hear you seeing Dave play drums made me miss the 1990s Dave but then again , age. Right. Physical style of playing. You can’t do that at 50.
I truly love how Shane seamlessly kicked it up quite a few notches for the second song. Definitely a true talent. I am seriously impressed even more with Shane. Absolutely awesome and amazing. :)
Shane honey ,you did your dad proud ❤❤❤
I absolutely love hearing Shane play the drums!! God he sounds so much like his dad, I know Taylor is looking down immensely proud of his son
OMG - Shane NAILED IT!! Loved seeing the band turn towards him during the song as a tribute to Taylor and to support Shane- brilliant!
Cmon, just hire the kid already
Miiiiiiiight need to introduce him to a click track first
he's a kid he can't go tour he still is in schoo lol
@@Scott-ls1ff give the kid a break the nerves and emotions….. would love to see you try and do better
please... is a machine!
@@Scott-ls1ff they don't use a click live. Don't need it when you're not playing over a backing track.
Shane Hawkins has the looks, talent, drive and ambition to be as successful as his Dad one day.
Shane, baby, you are your Daddy!!! Just nailed it!!! Just look at the Foos supporting him!!! Love it!!! Miss you Taylor!!!
I Love it! He is Taylor's son under the wing of Dave Grohl, the sky is the limit I'm excited to see him grow and became a great drummer
The sky is the neighbourhood
Become? Homeboy already IS a great drummer, my dude.

Taylor once told me he had grown his own version of Roger Taylor (drummer of Queen) but he really is much more like his Dad...
Kid killed it.
Still unreal.. breaks my heart. He hits those drums with pain.
If the FF’s stick around they found they’re drummer that fans will welcome!
I bet Taylor is looking down on Shane and saying, there goes my hero. He's an amazing young man.
Taylor is a GOOD SOUL .. HE lives on …
My god! He is perfect! ❤❤❤👍
Mental strength and balls. Well done Shane and the Foos. RIP Taylor & MRS G.
Yeah that kids amazing really good.
Seems like a good kid.
It be nice to see more kids getting into Rock......
That was awesome. Gave me goose bumps and brought a tear to my eye. What a tribute.
They should let Shane be the drummer out of respect for his dad. Two members within the same family jamming out and showing a good time.
Great talent

Ah shit, here we go again

Wow, he definitely took after dad!
Imo … he’s the only drummer that any fan would respect!
I’d respect Rufus Taylor who’s Taylor’s godson.
Dad wants him to come part of the band
he should be the foos new drummer
Fcuking A !!!!....
Prodigy
Why were the crowd not dancing? Are they not allowed!
what is with the audience? :O
Gudetama brought me here.
plays more like dave than talyor
Нахрена там тип на ионике?
