EVH didn't play a half-acoustic. At least not in the early days when Panama was out. He always used to play his stripy strat, where in interviews he insisted it costed no more then 600 $.

He was already beyond his dad when he joined Van Halen, Eddie knew it and bragged about it. It's just now that we are starting to see the brilliance come to light in his own music. I can say with confidence we haven't seen the best of Wolfgang Van Halen yet.

I will never forget when Wolfie was a kid and Eddie announced to the world that Wolfie had rhythm. He was super proud of that fact, almost like he didn't care if Wolfie ever played lead, didn't matter to him, Wolfie had rhythm and THAT is what mattered to Eddie. Of course we all know that all great lead players have great rhythm at their core, and Wolfie has turned out to be one heck of a lead player as well. 🤩

But I'll always see Wolfie as a class act... he put his own music out, respectfully made it clear he was NOT standing on his Pop's coattails. Then, at the most appropriate time, absolutely KILLS playing his father's music for a very worthy cause. This truly is a tribute to Edward.

I would love to see that show too but, let's face it, Sammy's been marketing his beverages and just having a good time jamming. He would need to get in better shape for a big tour. I just don't think he would want to do it. Read his book - the guy's had businesses ranging from bicycles to fire sprinklers to tequila, and more. He's got FU money and would really need to want to do it without any of it resembling "work".

I think Wolf said he wasn’t interested in continuing Van Halen without his father and replacing his father in the lead guitar spot. He’s busy with Mammoth WVH now and he won’t play VH songs in his band. Sammy and Mike do though. They play VH songs. Alex is getting like Phil Collins where it’s hard to drum.

Wow not only is Wolf one of the most amazing guitarist that I have ever seen and heard but he such a polite and humble man. Coming from the amazing pedigree and family that he was born into Wolf is not a spoiled guy who thinks he’s all that because of who his dad is. Wolf has worked hard and has made a name for himself instead of using his dad’s star power to get ahead which he could have easily have done. Wolf you turned out to be such a polite, intelligent talented man and all us musicians I’m sure of are extremely proud and happy for you. Love your guitars they literally sound amazing. I’ve never seen or heard you before until now while watching this video. Thank you for sharing all that you did I am for sure a new fan..
