  • My experience of Exploring Tehran, Iran as a female in my third blog.
    Many people are pleasantly surprised with Iran and just how kind, friendly and welcoming the people are. It's a very rich culture and of late extremely misunderstood, which is heartbreaking as there is so much to learn and experience.. from the food to the flamboyant partying nature of these wonderful people.
    You will not be disappointed with this beautiful country, and same goes for Pakistan, although they are both rather different, they are equally amazing!
    Hope you enjoy!

      Yes, Iran is rather safe for most tourists. Because the repressive gov't sees no threat coming from tourists (it actually uses it as a propaganda for its existence and false façade). But it's not that safe for IRANIANS, who dont conform to the strict and regressive rule of the regime!
      As an Iranian you could end up in jail (if not worse) if you even mildly criticize the regime or gov't or question simple matters like the dress code or basic human rights.

My Dad is actually from up North in the Gilan Province and I have to say , I've travelled quite a bit in my life and the North of Iran is in my opinion the most underrated little gem in the world, of course I may be a bit bias as both my Mom and Dad were born and raised in Iran . It's quite amazing though. The landscape is stunning. The food stands out amongst the food in other parts of Iran where the food is already amazing , then when I tell friends that the North of Iran has a sub-tropical climate they thinking I'm joking at first. The two provinces of Gilan and Mazandaran are stunning and should be on top of the list of places to go when travelling to Iran!

      it's just your personal preference. aslo,
      have you heard the lebanese or syrian accent it's softer than any iranian accent.

Lol 😂 , syrian and lebanese to my ears is still aggressive and harsh, tehrani persian accent is one of the softest and sweetest languages , there is a middle eastern proverb that talks about how soft persian is, also when it comes to words, persian is a poetic language, buts its really well rounded as it was used for all sorts of things, such as translating books and being used in court

    Iran (Persia) is an ancient land, but I am so impressed by how modern Tehran is, What a beautiful city with a nice standard of living and good quality of life. Show me an Arab country with a capital like this (with the exception of oil-rich UAE)... I'm not trying to put Arabs down, but look what Iran has done with limited financial resources and look at how the Arab countries have squandered their wealth and wasted it on wars and dictators.

    • @wakiwaki97

      completely agree, Iran is oil rich too, but sanctions for almost 40 years still look how well Iran has presevered and develoved 18th biggest economy in the World, don't forget they went to war 1980-1988 almost destoryed their entire economy, Persians as very smart and educated, also they ridiculously friendly even more to Westerns, this Country is so misunderstood. I'm Pakistani and have deep respect for Iran.

    • @alfalfafalafelmafia
      @alfalfafalafelmafia 7 років тому +8

      Limited financial resources? Drug trade and the plunder of Iraq and Syria. This is plenty. Arabs like Iranians are not free. the Iranians had a successful revolution that brought the country back to the Middle Ages. the Arabs in their respective countries tried to create democracy through revolution, but failed. thanks to Iran in particular, Syria was destroyed because the Syrian wanted freedom that somehow did not sit well with the Mullahs. The Iranians have been involved so far in two genocides all of which committed against the Sunni Arabs of Syria and Iraq.

    • @SJdC2004
      @SJdC2004 7 років тому +6

      I understand your opinion. but if you are being honest with yourself wasn't it Sadaam Hussein who decided to attack and invade Iran in 1980? Iraq was the aggressor (with lots of high tech American weapons supplied by the USA), and thought that it would have an easy time crushing Iran and seizing its territory. Now Iran is a powerful country. Still, I think that Iran needs to take care of Iran and leave Iraq and Syria alone.

    • @alfalfafalafelmafia
      @alfalfafalafelmafia 7 років тому +2

      I respect your opinion too. without arguing over Saddam and what he did or did not do, why destroy the Sunni community in Iraq and Syria? I will tell you what Iran could 've done: Instead of using the opening that the Americans made for them to control Iraq (this was done purposely) and create a heinous, militia run, sectarian genocidal regime in Iraq, almost completely exterminating the Sunnis in Iraq and later in Syria, it could have come in, controlled the country, used its resources, showed the Iraqi Sunnis in particular and all Sunnis in general including those in Iran that it is not about revenge WITHOUT ....WITHOUT doing what the Americans so badly wanted: an Islamic civil war for another one hundred years. Iran could have gotten reparation without creating enmity by all Arabs and Sunnis for the next one hundred years. Then In Syria, it could have either stayed away or used its influence to side with the right side, i.e, the Syrians who wanted nothing but freedom. Instead, the Iranian Mullah Regime decided to use the sctarian-national card to achieve their aspiration to control the ME. Instead of pursuing their influence using soft power, they decided that given that they are Safavid Shiite, they can only have influence by destroying the Sunni communities in those countries. The result is: Iran will know peace for a short period of time only and as Iran is a mosaic of sects and ethnicity, it will be always vulnerable to outside interference and cannot rely on the good will of its southern border. Millions of Sunnis were killed through the militia run Shiite regime in Iraq, or the minority run Syrian regime in Syria and millions have been dislocated. the destruction of the Sunnis in Iraq and Syria is almost complete thanks to the Mullah regime of Iran.

      Lots of educated people ! so many of them they show off with their degree and wealth!

    Iran Rules. People should ignore the lying media about this gorgeous country and people. Wow 10 pence a bus ride ,that's excellent ,here in the UK Wales it's 1 pound and 70 pence single ,return 3 pound 70 pence .

    I am really amazed that you show a country as it really is, because tv shows only the negative things. But i think you have to show more like not only the peaceful side of tehran or at least talk about that, ask the people there about that. Every big city has bad areas. I also want to know about the situation with human rights and especially women rights there, about relationships, family, freedoms, how safe is to walk alone at night, can women enjoy, how is the nightlife? Generally i like your videos very much :)

      Don’t believe the media, but believe your own eyes and discernment. How many women did you see walking alone on the streets without any man or company? Did you try walking without your scarf and alone, without your male companion?
