dang well i got lucky and thought dr. doom was cool off the bat and i liked hulk aswell as taskmaster so i got pretty lucky i also play hulk and cap
I love how goofy Hsien-Ko's walking animation looks, especially when she pushes someone like in this moment 6:11 its great

Hsien ko is pretty good in keeping off those try hard Zero players off you.
I used to just put her on point then use that gold mode then switch out for another character and just spam her swining blade attack if anyone got too close.
People need to take her to the dojo and later do some match ups, she is pretty good. Because of her years ago I was able to get to the middle ranks because of her assist always saving my ass then I end up using some lame high tier character to do a high damage or infinite combo.
I don't know if I'll get away with using Hisen Ko in 2019
Actually more people should play some of the low tiers and think of some situations they can be a great choice.
In 2022 a hsien-ko won advance players tournament along with nearly beating quack ( a top 30 player who they went 4-3 against)
Imagine thinking Taskmaster is not the most badass character in Marvel ever

UMVC3 was the first fighting game I actually learned to play.
Hsien-Ko was definitely low tier, but had some good combos. Just hard to take on top tier characters.
On that last mission u gotta do a mini back dash, call Assist and Tiger knee. Bc if u call Assist when close to Ryu Assist doesnt connect

You can charge Taskmaster's arrow input to fire more arrows. That's how you gotta connect with the assist (I think).

Umvc3 is really attractive combo game always end up re downloading and playing just for the combos ( did a couple combo videos on pad on my channel)
If your Web swing and and cancel into the h shot it helps. but in this combo u need to charge your h shot. so u can either just regular jump and cancel it on the way up into hshot which will give u enough knock up to catch it in time to land. Web swing method works in the corner
I used to play a team of Jill, M.O.D.O.K. and her and I’ll never forget getting a perfect just using her and my corner mixups

My hometown pizza place had that cabinet, though since I'm in a super small town, I never had anyone to play against lol
But yeah:
It was specifically X-Men vs specifically SF, then Marvel in general vs specifically SF, then Marvel in general vs Capcom in general
I don't know why these are so entertaining to watch but keep cranking them out
Hsien Ko is a pretty good assist character from what I remember. I think she's good for countering Zero too?
Just Gold LV. 1 -> Character swap, and she’s a great assist character.
I wish fir the taskmaster trials it told you to hold heavy aim master because it makes the combo infinitely easier and teaches you how to squeeze out a bit of extra dmg

Putting that gold armor on and then tagging her out makes her assist godly
Until she takes that 150% damage and dies from 2 X-factor hits from Vergil lol.

I played Hsien-Ko for about 4.5 years until I realised how much effort I had to put in to win compared to 95% of the cast. I told people for a long time that she was just underrated but in hindsight, she is definitely the worst character in the game.
I don't think they were worried about her being a zoner, they were scared of Armour being too OP and so they made everything slow, low damage and ramp up the hitstun scaling quickly. What makes it worse is that she can't even level 3 X-Factor comeback easily because Gold Armour ticks down faster during X-Factor for some dumb reason.
Best thing about her is that her assist is buggy and causes weird cross ups in the corner for unseeable mixups. :(
Worst character in the game? With Phoenix Wright, A character who requires good execution and luck to even have a chance to be good for 5 seconds
@@KaitouKaiju Is hard to get the "Setup" for turnabout mode, But ones you get it? Phoenix becomes Top Tier, no jokes

If you're not familiar, look up LLND matches/compilations. But yeah, Justin Wong once said that Hsien-ko's really easy to fight against.
Damage doesnt scale on assist so if u see someone spamming her she dies pretty easy. And not much sinergy on point and no much damage by her own
