Years back when I was insane I cut up a vega welded up a 454 and could not get headers in I made flanges to 1 in fence pipe to a 2 in fence pipe that ran parallel to the head then down and out through the front fender door area.
BRENT! - THE BIG WHEELS LOW RIDER TRUCK! IS COMING ALONG - GREAT! , AND IT'S ALSO GREAT, WHEN YOU CAN BUILD STUFF!- WITH THINGS AROUND YOUR - JUNKYARD 😊👍
I think this build is so cool. Love the driveshaft cover. I’m a “no” vote on the hood unless it’s just a cover when not in use, but it’s not my build! Do what is best, easiest, or whatever criteria you want. I’m a fan regardless.
Austin looks like a pro in the body shop , he does nice work and he's not afraid of the hard parts . You on the other hand are a master and the rat rod is looking the part . It won't be long before you are sitting in the drivers seat ," Beam me up Scotty ". As always , Stuart on Ontario ..
Definitely use the hood. Just the practical aspect of protecting the engine and you can have the rad up front. Cut down that grill a bit. It’ll be very cool.
Might have a name for the rat rod brent, Rod Maximum or Rod Max for short, kinda like how germans love naming their children, Maximilion 😂 road signs kinda game an idea 🤣🤷♂️ coming along killer man 👌🏾🤙🏾🇦🇺
If you could just find an empty beer keg laying around somewhere that would make a cool gas tank that muffler guard looks like it came off of a Peterbilt 👍
Well if its going to sit outside all winter id definitely have a bonnet ( hood) rear mounted rads work well in 4x4 off road racing applications to no reason it shouldn't here.
Need to cover up the engine put the hood on just my opinion you do you Brent like you are going to listen to me ha ha ha😅😅😅😅😅 looking cool friend god bless all.
Make sure you put some expanded metal on the end of the pipe s so the mice's don't make them in to condos out of them when you park as yard art........
Brent absolutely love the road side floor. Fits perfectly with this build. The drive shaft cover works as well. I guess the hood does provide some protection for that motor, and the front rad certainly simplifies the build. In my opinion you can get by with the front rad. I think the hood looks a little bit to heavy and hides some of what is so cool about this. Maybe you can rattyfy that hood yo make it fit the build better. With that said, you always find a way better than I could suggest. Great seeing you having a fun build and working with Austin and Ryder. Love this channel
Is this still supposed to be just a big ' Garden Ornament '. Its a shame Brent didn't get himself 1 of those older single cylinder lifts. I used to work at a garage that still used a single cylinder lift with the cylinder being the same size as a 15.inch wheel. The other 2 lifts in the garage was a single mast that had forks on both sides similar to a fork lift mast but with a tin metal work cover. The single post was great apart from it didn't lock so you could drive on, lift and then spin the car in mid air. .
It's coming along nicely
Loving the build
Can’t wait to see this driving
Good progress on the truck Brent. Also nice to see Ryder moving forward with his project as well. Take care and stay safe 👍
Cool yard art .
I like the driveshaft tunnel and I think the hood is cool.
Hey Brent
Do love the way you com up with iders , wam bam and a new part is made and fix to the roadrunner😊
bead roller can crease a long panel into a bend. Love the truck build
Looking good Brent and Good job Rider
Is so nice to see a father and son doing things together love the video and how the car is coming together 👍👍👍👍
Brent you should paint your Halfass Kustoms on the doors 😊
Awesome work again
And it’s great to see you help the young guys 👍🏼🛠🛠

I guess the vehicle just gots its name, Maximum , lol. Ty for taking us along
This one should be called "Scrappy". What a cool project Brent!
Road signs are the best for interior panels--just leave the Bridge Out sign where it is Brent!😆 No late night surprises for someone...

Ian you are doing great job on the rat rod truck. You are a man with many talents. God bless and have a blessed evening and night
Hood has my vote.
Yard art that runs and drives, very cool concept that is progressing nicely. Cheers! 😎👍🏎🏁🏁
Your floors in this ratrod look awesome. I love the drive shaft cover. That's really cool. Thanks Brent for the video
Brent, a little rat rod told me you were doing a fine job! It's coming along one traffic sign at a time! Cheers!

Viva Pablo! What a happy boy.
Hood looks good on there

What a cool rat rod! It shouldn't be just for display. It should be to enjoy.
Awesome toy

It’s probably going to be a hoot to drive! I think Ed Roth would approve!
🙋🏻♂️ excellent work 💪👌👍
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job Sir ❤❤❤❤❤
Pablo loves going out for a ride 👌
Good afternoon from Worcester Massachusetts. The 51 is getting pretty good, weird, but good.
I cant wait to see it running and driving. If i owned it i would drive the tires off...lol
Cool man i like it
That,s a cool ride👍😃
New camera??
Video seems to be a higher definition. Ain’t complaining.👍😎
Desde Argentina 🎉🎉
I'm sure Pablo loves riding in the CJ ... no doors or windshield to disrupt the flow of fresh air
Can’t wait to see it moving under its own power. 👍😎
I was just about to do my 30 minutes on the exercise bike with nothing to watch then you kindly upload another Brent Rod video. Happy days!!
Definitely use the hood. Just the practical aspect of protecting the engine and you can have the rad up front. Cut down that grill a bit. It’ll be very cool.
One cool interior and I think it will need a hood.
That ending with Pablo was nice. Is that the cool old Jeep from a few months ago?
Pablo!!
Go go go
I always find myself wondering, "How is he going to do that?" And then, tada, my mind is blown again.. 😁
Hood yes, use it in the rain

Enter the truck into the Hot Wheels Competition? Sounds wild-huh? I think it’s a contender…Rough-cut and wild…Oh yea!
The floor and truck in my 57 Fairlane were made from old street signs
like 202 !
That's how most of us patch a floor. Lol
If you could just find an empty beer keg laying around somewhere that would make a cool gas tank that muffler guard looks like it came off of a Peterbilt 👍
💯th👍
I'd like to see the hood on there.
😊😊😊😊😊
😎👍
Well if its going to sit outside all winter id definitely have a bonnet ( hood) rear mounted rads work well in 4x4 off road racing applications to no reason it shouldn't here.
Add the collectors back on. Length then solved.
... and my vote is for a hood, even if it means a remote mounted radiator
Need to cover up the engine put the hood on just my opinion you do you Brent like you are going to listen to me ha ha ha😅😅😅😅😅 looking cool friend god bless all.
I love this truck so much please do not put the radiator in the hood or the grill in the front! It looks so awesome the way it sits!
Make sure you put some expanded metal on the end of the pipe s so the mice's don't make them in to condos out of them when you park as yard art........
Put. The. Hood on

I vote hood and rad up front just me
You got to drink more beer, no floor templates.
Later Dudes

I like the truck. what about the gas tank where to put it
The speed limit factory called, they want to sponsor the building of an entire car out of speed limits.
Later Peace out
No more Flintstone brakes, floors b in.
You need to give the kid some pocket money, needs a pair of jeans.
Soon be shredding tires , Whats the ride at the end jeep ?
Just an oldie I got running a while back.
It needs a tractor hood
You build custom cars and you Don't have any muffler pipe in stock ???
Are you shooting for the most mismatched vehicle of all time?
You would be totally lost without the fork lift.
Both of them ... the telehandler for moving larger stuff and the little electric for in the shop
I vote no hood lol
If you don't care what it looks like, why build it in the first place?
I'd like to borrow you for a few days and finish my rat rod....
