A real master of his craft. The way he molded that rose-teardrop hybrid was amazing to watch. Beautiful crown shape, it feels especially appropriate with that beautiful rich rose colored felt. Amazing hat, and thank you for showing this!
I love how cowboy hats, and hat shapers are equally as important elements to the end product. Similar to a good, fine cigar, the farm, farmer, leaf, and roller all have their part in the story that is told in the notes, smoke and burn. To have something that has a touch of legacy in it, there is nothing else that will ever compare.
I want a men's 5" in grenadine so bad. That crown choice was sick! Pencil roll and the Carmen San Diego slope in front was the cherry in the grenadine.
They have men’s western hats that get that wide. Usually the customizable blank hats that are open crown like this come with really wide brims and can either be left fully wide, but down, pencil rolled, shaped, or all of the above. I’ve seen plenty of men’s wide brimmed hats shaped in all manner of ways. It really depends on your personal style and preference for your own hat.
@@JG-qg1zu because if someone gives you a hat to represent their brand, you put the sticker on it. If you are asking why a million people do the same who aren’t being paid to do so, and why patches sell for $$$ all day and why I get 10 messages a day from people looking for them, I’ll refer you to what Keith Mundee President of American Hat has to say about the subject. “Do you remove the Wrangler patch from your jeans? Pull the Dodge logo off your truck? When you wear a product from a company that has values that align with your values it’s ok to let others know that. We don’t just sell hats we are selling the National Anthem, the opening prayer, respect for our military and first responders and young people! We want the next generation of young people to know we are proud Americans. And we choose to be Positive Influencers in others lives. Wearing a great cowboy hat makes a statement.”
This is true. There is a federal website and if I remember I will post it here. We sell feathers and always follow regulations… except straw season, we don’t believe in that 😉
Had a 10x felt made for a buddies wedding there Friday! Damn good group of guy’s down there definitely stop by if you’ve got the time!
This was the finest shaping I've observed. What a talent!

Black cherry is my favorite but I like this one so much as well. Also the blue. Those are goals.

Great video, Danny did a fantastic job on that hat! One of these days I’m going to make my way to best hat store
He really did! Thanks for commenting 😊
Would be really cool for you to have a video with the Lynch brothers at Best Hat. Both of them are great.
I want this hat. It's so slick
That was a great choice for crown creasing and shapes for a sophisticated look. Grenadine looks amazing. Are they doing a men's western hat 4 1/4 + ?

Very nice hat
I would like to see you go down to Georgetown. That hat maker measures your head
Dan is it. He’s done 5 or 6 of my hats
They should Scan & 3D Print their own pencil roller to make duplicates.
Georgetown Texas
Prices please
Why do you add stickers to a great looking hat? It makes it look cheap.

Please check state and federal law before possessing any feather you find. A feather from a bird of prey or a migratory bird may likely be illegal.
