Just to add some history, SCV's cymbal line really came into their own during the 1984 season and "set the stage" for the all lines that followed. In fact, 1984 was the first year the annual SCV "MVP" Award (usually given to an individual) was awarded to the entire cymbal line at our year-end banquet by Gail Royer for their efforts-- the hype, the visuals, their overall badass-ness...those guys were tight, and the members gave them a huge standing O when they accepted the award.

haha there's so much going on here in this video. both end cymbals do hilarious dance moves, third tuba jamming out, and 4th bass head-bangin. if you want an encore, this is how it should be done :)
@JamesCyndall and btw "looking good" is like a main part in being in drum corp. besides playing well if ur corp doesnt look good...u get a bad rating. the poin of looking good is what contributes to being uniform. u cant hav someone that say has bad posture or slouches. and i highly doubt that SCV is rascist. hence the india guy
@JamesCyndall When have encores been times to sit there and play absolutely perfectly and uniformly? Look at the title of the video before you make wildly accusative comments/opinions.

SCV has done the Viper since 1988... The Viper is one of the oldest traditions although the Vanguard "V" is probably older.

they did the encore in el paso, it was awesome, but not as awesome as the 2001 encore, that show was sick
