- Avery from @GodLogicApologetics invited myself and a Seventh-Day Adventist onto his program to have a discussion on Adventism. The SDA gentleman had been on prior, full of emotion and energy when he was discussing with someone less versed in SDA theology.
Let's see if Mr. Destroying False Christianity (aka true Christianity) brings that same energy this go around.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ:
Man has broken God’s Law (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8) and our sin has separated us from our Maker (Isaiah 59:2). In His grace, God entered into His own creation in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:1-14; Col. 1:19), born of a virgin (Matt. 1:23), and lived a perfect and sinless life, fulfilling all the Law’s demands (2 Cor. 5:21; Matt. 5:17), on a mission by God the Father to save sinners from condemnation (John 3:16-18, 6:37-40). He paid the penalty for sin which is death (Romans 6:23) and bore the sins of His people in His body on a cross (1 Peter 2:24), making propitiation by His blood (Romans 3:25). He died, was buried, and resurrected in the same body He died in on the third day for our justification (1 Cor. 15, Romans 4:25; Luke 24:39). By a living faith (James 2:18) in the Person and Work of Jesus (Romans 10:9-10), God graciously declares a person righteous (Romans 4:5), they are reconciled to their Creator (Romans 5:10-11), sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13), and have peace with God (Romans 5:1). They are born again of the Spirit (1 John 5:1, Titus 3:5), adopted into His family (Eph. 4:5-7), and are granted eternal resurrection life in Jesus Christ (1 John 5:11), set free to do good works that please Him (Eph. 2:10; 1 John 2:3-4). Jesus will physically return one day to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5; Acts 24:15; John 5:24-5) but His people will be spared from the wrath to come (1 Thess. 1:10) to dwell in union with God forever (Rev. 21:3).

Bruhhhh... 🤦🏾 The Quote My friend began was neither a confirmation of faith nor a biblical doctrine. It was just a Dramatization of the crucifixion story. Matter of fact, My friend's question here Begin with the assumption that EGW's writings contains equal authority to the Bible, asking Richie do you believe that? Like seriously 😂. Richie just needed to say no, move on. Plus this issue goes to a bigger debate that has rocked the Christian world for centuries on the Nature of Christ, there are two school of thoughts that stemmed from it. It was in the Council of Nicea that the bishops came and agreed to settle on one of the views about the Nature of Christ.
Smh...
“Just a dramatization”
Uhh, no. You are confused.
“How many have read carefully Patriarchs and Prophets, Great Controversy, and Desire of Ages? I wish all to understand that my confidence in the light that God has given stands firm, because I know that the Holy Spirit’s power magnified the truth and made it honorable, saying, “This is the way; walk ye in it.” [Isaiah 30:21.] In my books, the truth is stated, barricaded by a “Thus saith the Lord.” The Holy Spirit traced these truths upon my heart and mind as indelibly as the law was traced by the finger of God upon the tables of stone, which are now in the ark, to be brought forth in that great day when sentence will be pronounced against every evil, seducing science produced by the father of lies.”-Letters & Manuscripts, Vol. 21 (1906), Letter 90; Selected Messages, Book 3, pg. 122 (3SM 122.2)
She claims desire of ages is from God himself and the words contained within are “barricaded by a thus saith the Lord”.
@@answeringadventism DANM, thanks for responding bro. I thought my comment would've been ignored. And thanks for that quote. We overestimates what "Inspiration" means. For example I'm sure you've heard plenty of sermons, they are all inspired, and the truths being proclaimed are believed to be given by God correct? But yet both you and I know that there's still a possibility for human error. Like when she said "Satan wrung the heart of Jesus, etc...." How could she possibly have seen that? I'm not discrediting that she was shown these things in vision. But even in vision one cannot for certain interpret what's in a person's heart. The quote you just shared with me I believe is speaking about the Overarching message in her writings, not nitty gritty details. Even in the Bible there are things that can make you raise your eyebrows!? Nevertheless we believe it is the inspired word of God. What I was hoping you to get at were the other extreme allegations you mentioned at the close of the video of people going to hell for not keeping Sabbath etc...

This poor man is like we were. Parroting the same old Adventist crap we used ‘we are totally 100% Bible based, EGW just teaches the Bible’ blah blah blah.
That’s what we were taught to believe. He wasn’t familiar with the passages you read out because he hasn’t read it for himself but this stuff is just taught to us, from birth we are told all the little EGW additions to the Bible stories and we just think that’s what the Bible says, and when reading the Bible for ourselves there is something contrary to what we’ve been taught to believe it means, we somehow just gloss over it. He’s incredibly deceived.
The hopscotch at the beginning tells you it was a great question. I've learned recently that when you're dealing with false teachers and they start hopping around all these different Bible verses and they can't deal with the text in front of them straight, that they got a bad argument
It was almost comical.

It’s how they work, they work on the theory that you can’t shoot a moving target, they change the subject as soon as they are challenged and they talk talk talk not allowing the other party to speak.
It’s beyond their comprehension that former SDA’s are “former” because we read and studied The Bible in and of itself.
That was brutal but necessary. Well done Myles.
“I have always been a Christian since I was born” means he has no understanding of what it means to be Born AGAIN!!!!
That very thought raced thru my mind as well
I have heard so many times from many SDA they don’t quote EGW but they’re part of the church that doctrines are fundamentally EGW writings and that they do put her above the scriptures
Hypocrites, right!
I am fairly new at being a 7th day Adventist and what I know about the church right now is that they very rarely bring out Ellen G Whites writings and they're always going into the Bible and very rarely will bring out a quote of Ellen G White. From what I understand about Ellen G White is that she is always wanting The reader to go to the Bible and not her writings. Ellen g white is always having you go to the Bible to the Bible to the Bible. She is telling people, do not glorify me, but glorified Christ as Lord and savior.
And the reason I don't go to a Sunday church. Anymore is because the 10 commandments in the Bible and it has nothing To Do with Ellen G white is that the fourth commandment specifies for the Christian to. Remember the sabbath to keep that day holy the 7th day the last day of the week which is Saturday to honor God on that day. And that means that you do not go to the mall and shop and enjoy spending money or working and making money and encouraging others to work on that day. When they should be focusing on God who is the one who created the heavens in the Earth. And the sabbath rest day was made for man that means all of humanity. That means the gentiles and the Jews. Nfu try to say that the sabbath was done away with at the cross because Jesus died on the cross that has nothing To Do with the weekly sabbath. The handwriting of ordinances talks about the sacrificial sabbath laws which happened yearly. But the weekly sabbath was never done a way with at the cross and it's still meant to be kept to this day. Jesus is the Lord of the sabbath but he is not thus sabbath.
He is Lord of the sabbath. And the 10 commandments are about the first 4 commandments are To Do with loving God and honoring him and the last 6 commandments is to how you're. Supposed to be treating other humans.
" I think she's inspired"
Yeah by the "Devil"
we can plainly see that Sdas are bewitched and it's only by the power of the holy spirit will they be delivered so let's continue to prayer earnestly for their deliverance....

This is literally what I said out loud when I hear him say she’s “inspired” lol
“Inspired” is necessarily equivalent to infallible. That’s a problem, if you’re SDA
Brilliant miles well done . The sda guy completely avoided the real issue and went into playing victim . It was obvious he was shaken upon hearing the words from the desire of ages hopefully it will wake him up
as former adventist I would say that I don't believe he will think about it and make a research - he probably will be having no more discussions with Myles. Or even he would found some new arguments it wouldn't help. He will be ignorantly defend church beliefs until he believe them. SDA uses cultish practices to indoctrinate people so even facing straight truth they will not accept that they are defeated. That's the matter of faith not logic.

The host is pinning him on what he honestly said he needs to read himself.
What Miles has to do himself is explain how and why God left Jesus to fully understand that particular quote by Ellen.
Richie sounds exactly like my brother when I try point out SDA errors, his number 1 answer is always “we are the only ones who study straight from the bible ..it’s all in the bible” it’s really exhausting. I gave up trying to convince him and the rest of the fam in SDA they are severely blinded. Holy Spirit come through 🙏🏽
That is such an obvious lie that I don't know how anybody in Adventism believes it. Adventism gets its beliefs not merely from the Bible, but the Bible as interpreted by Ellen G. White, the "spirit of prophecy." If you just read the Bible without EGW, you don't get any of the distinctive teachings of Adventism. James White (Ellen's husband) admitted as much, as did an early General Conference president in the 1800s. This is also the same reason Adventism cannot honestly claim that they don't hold Ellen White as equal to Scripture. She is the lens through which Scripture is interpreted for them, which is by definition an equal authority.
AMEN, yes Holy Spirit come through. My husband became SDA too and it's hell unleashed with an ax to grind against Christ and His own.
@@awblanchard23 I can help you with scripture to prove him wrong. Welcome the debate with him, and the fruit will come forth.

In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God.
And He was in the beginning with God.
The guy was off his rocker.
But honestly I think he seems oblivious to the fact that Ellen's writings compose the entire church doctrine.
Admittedly I was somewhat in this position too to some degree.
It's hard to explain the "trickiness" since this can vary from congregation, person and so on...
The plainest way I can explain it from my own experience is that. People who don't read scripture by itself are subliminally taught Ellen's writings.
One example is that when I still on the Powerpoint quarterlies back in the day I had no idea the lessons were completely littered with Ellen's writings.
This still sticks out in my head to this day but the first time (for me) when Ellen was brought up in lesson study was in one of the 2004 Powerpoint quarterlies. This was also around the time I started my baptismal lessons.
In the first paragraph of the lesson it said:
Quote: "A woman named Ellen Harmon fell in love with Jesus".
Another thing is that during my baptismal lessons Ellen was rarely brought up or mentioned. At least from what I remember.
Aside from taking "It's my choice" (which is a very funny name when I look back on it now) my Sabbath School teacher had some other material. The Millerite Movement was taught to me in a very generalized way it was not super in depth. The Kellogs thing was also part of the lessons.
Overall my point is that Ellen is taught in subliminal ways so this gives people the idea that it's all scripture based.
I know there is more to add to this but you get the idea.
Yes, they walk you through scripture and you usually only see scripture, but they weave the narrative in that they get from Ellen, without telling you it's from Ellen. And it's a completely foreign narrative to the rest of Christianity. But because SDAs are so isolated, they never have other Christians seeing this and pushing back, or at least well studied Christians that see through the deception.
You realize that topics such as, the Investigative Judgement, State of the Dead, Sabbath keeping were all doctrines accepted by the early Adventists prior to her visions and becoming part of the Church, right?
@@freeinhabitant2422 Objectively false. WTF is wrong with you? Are you just counting on people swallowing your bullshit if you say it confidently enough?
I'm only half-way through and this is my perception: Richie Hart BELIEVES that the SDA Church as always had an accurate view of Jesus.
But like many SDA's, they don't actually understand the Biblical/Orthodox view of Jesus. Further, they don't understand how THEIR view differs from the Biblical/Orthodox view.
It is as a former 3rd Generation Adventist that I make this claim.
That is an accurate assessment
I had to go back and watch the replay again... The crickets at 20:13.... 🦗🦗🦗
Wow he really doesn't know much about his prophets writings. From what Myles read, she definitely wrote a whole lot of stuff that doesn't even appear in the Bible. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
I really pray that this stream planted a seed and makes him go back to study further into their beliefs and then compare it to the Bible.
God works in mysterious ways! 🙏
And this is exactly what started me on the path out of Adventism. Adventists love to preach that they're the church of the Bible alone, but their prophet repeatedly added to the Bible, something we are told not to do (see Proverbs 30: 5-6.)
As a third generation adventist (former). I’ve always been taught that our beliefs were based from the Bible. And he is right, he just withhold the part that we were reading it based on the interpretations of White.
The doctrines of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment are the worst heresies ever taught!

Oh my word! I interact with Jehovah’s Witnesses in person and online a lot, and this LDS guy uses the very same tactics in his interactions with you that the JW’s use, including:
“I’m not here to argue/debate.”
Changing the subject to Catholicism (for JW’s it’s about the Trinity; for LDS it’s about the Sabbath).
Play the victim (“You’re attacking me.”)
Making inspiration claims about their leader(s), but excusing (or denying or ignoring) their mistakes.
Claiming ignorance (“I need to research that more” or “I need to see that in context.”)

Funny how he's saying that Myles is rude. Has he not heard Adventists say that the Christian church is the whole of Babylon? That we are apostates? That we are Sunday worshipers? That we worship Rome? Etc. I mean when it comes to rudeness and persecution, he should look no further than the Adventist Church.
Most Adventist church members have blinders on about Ellen White because the leaders of our church keep pounding her writings and string them together to make them look plausible. I am a 4th generation Adventist and didn't know anything of the Investigative Judgment, standing without an intercessor, etc. In the last year I've discovered a lot of truth about a lot of things. I gave myself to Jesus when I was 3 and had to wait (much to my utter dismay and fear) until I was 12 to get baptized. It wasn't until I was 28 that I heard a lot of the unbiblical doctrines and had questions, today if I try to clarify things from the Bible, I just get told that I cannot bring up anything controversial. This is how leadership controls the congregation by dancing around about "going thru proper channels to get permission" or "don't bring up anything controversial." There is never a time in the church setting for thinking people to get their questions answered. In general leadership gets all blustering authoritative to cover the weakness in the church. I believe this SDA person is not genuinely trying to find answers, just using traditional shut-down the discussion tactics.
I guess the truth is controversial.
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword." Matt 10:34
Sorry to hear all of that. I'd be happy to discuss anything controversial with you. Do you have and example?
Hi to you. It's the first time I visited your channel. You bring up a lot of interesting and important topics. When listening to this conversation, a question comes to my mind. When EGW wrote; "Satan wrung the heart of Jesus..." What did she mean, what was her emphazise and what is the context of that quote? Since I'm not a native speaker of English, I had to look up the word "wrung." Yes, you are right. Several dictionaries tells me it means "twisted." The book, Desire of ages was written in 1898, and I do believe the language and the words at that time could be understood differently compared to now. Anyway, Merriam Webster tells me that this word can bee understood in many ways, and as I see it, they point out that there is a battle going on, where Lucifer is using all the tricks in his book to deceive Christ to not go through, to not fulfil His mission to become the Lamb of the world, to become my and your Saviour. The chapter your are referring to, in Desire of ages, is a wonderful one. Since the time our "parents," Adam and Eve, fell for Lucifer's tricks, and even before that time, there has been a conflict between God and the one that wanted to be one, and during thousands of years, it has been raging through the centuries. On the cross, we see the highlight of this story, where Jesus continue to walk the line, to finish an eternal salvation, no matter the cost. This is the context of the word "wrung." The story of misery has not ended yet, and will culminate when Christ will gather fruits of His mission, the final results, the gathering of all who chose His side in the conflict between good and evil. Godspeed ♥
It doesn't matter what "wrung" means, it is the implication that Satan has any power whatsoever over the Son of God. He doesn't. Jesus knew fully what he was doing, what his sacrifice was for and he went to the slaughter freely, not in confusion, not as a pawn of Satan.
We are raised on the Bible?! Oh my !
This was so entertaining! Mr. "Destroy false Christianity" got DESTROYED by Myles. Quote, "SDA's like to flip flop and when thing get tough, they become the victim, whaa whaa!". Later we find out Rchie loses his emotional control, apologizes for it, comes to another show and loses it again! His anger is rooted in cognitive dissonance.
I think it's rooted in fear ultimately.
Wow. Not a single question was thoroughly fleshed out beyond a canned response, and even the canned response had to push through tons of layers of deflection, or acting like a victim. True sign of being in a cult when you can't have a normal conversation about a topic without turning it emotional. Not saying he got worked up and yelled or whatever, but the language he used was similar to the language of manipulative people, and I'm not saying he was intentionally being manipulative, I'm saying he felt uncomfortable being pressed on his beliefs because he hasn't fleshed them out and challenged them. That is for sure
When the subject matter of Ellen White comes into the conversation, SDA's always play the victim. They are 2 faced.
That was disappointing indeed. I’m a struggling former SDA and really wanted to see a SDA come one and defend his beliefs. It really helps to see the deception better. Growing up we were taught to view other churches as apostates, taboo to ever go to them. Also EGW was mentioned but not like you’d think. Your simple taught the doctrines as the absolute truth and told it’s what the Bible says but your never showed how involved EGW was. Nor was I ever told to read her writings
Spot on. EGWs writings are at the top of the stream where the SDA theologians and scholars are swimming and drinking in.
This then makes it way downstream to the laity who are at the bottom of the stream in the pond getting the trickle down without understanding her involvement in the development.
Welcome. I came out about a year ago and I’m so thankful to God that He led me out.
Do we need a flashlight 🔦 to light our path on a blazing hot sunny 🌞 day?!
She said “I am the lesser light” pointing to HERSELF?!! Logical fallacy !
She also said “my writings should be scattered as autumn leaves in every home!” Think that through
@@jimijames7703 Have you ever thought much about the metaphorical aspect of the term "lesser light leading to the greater light"? It makes no sense at all.
Consider the children of Israel fleeing the Egyptians in the dead of night with the "pillar of fire" as "the greater light"! Now, all of those people out there can see this great light! What need would they have of some 16th century BC "prophet" carrying a pitch torch -- "the lesser light" so that the people could find and see "the greater light" that probably filled half the night sky? The whole idea is ludicrous.
Or consider another illustrative analysis, an even better one: Consider the people in the wilderness during the day. The sun is burning almost directly overhead. Now along comes this same "prophet' shining a flashlight around so that people could find and see the sun! Again, the idea is ludicrous!
There's just no logic that can make this metaphor fit!
And indeed, under this explanation, the metaphor really comes apart. For the "greater light" isn't even a light, but a light SWITCH! No longer is the metaphor, "the lesser light leading to the greater light." Now it is, "the lesser light leading to the light switch"! Suddenly Scripture is "a light switch"!
The truth is that this metaphor is ill-bred and heretical in and of itself. Only our Adventist friends are so cultified that they can't see it or question it of think of it in logical terms. They're just stuck with it -- and all they can do is to get angry with you for pointing out its heretical flaws.
A similar mis-metaphor is one flung at you when you disagree with some "cherished doctrine," such as the investigative judgment. They say, "You're throwing out the baby with the bathwater." You respond, "If the baby is Christ, then how am I throwing out the baby Jesus?" They can't answer.
The reason: For them the baby isn't Jesus at all: It's CHURCH MEMBERSHIP! That's what's really precious to them and the raison d'etre for the metaphor. One of them said to me that she thought of her "in good and regular standing" church membership as "my ticket to heaven"!
I kid you not.
@@jimijames7703 Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
We can only get to the "Greater Light" through Him.
So by calling herself "the lesser light leading you to the greater light" she's basically placed herself in Jesus' shoes.
That's pure blasphemy and I can't even see how their members don't see that.

WOWZA! This guy didn’t come there to debate cuz he had no argument. So he started getting angry and gaslighting and deflecting! He has no argument! His false prophet made those statements!
He couldn’t admit he’s wrong. Sad! I used to be like that. He can’t not believe EGW because her visions and works are the base of doctrine in the SDA church. In their 28 fundamental beliefs they affirm that she had the spirit of prophecy and when SDA get baptized they have affirm this.
Honestly feel sorry for the guy. He’s clearly over his head in this convo. I pray this elbows him enough to make him research deep into what he actually believes and that God brings him to the full knowledge of the true gospel of Jesus Christ not the false gospel of SDA.
All SDAs are combative like this. They are genuinely deceived. It makes me sad too because they are always more worked up over defending Ellen G White instead of reading their bible. They read Desire of Ages/The Great Controversy more than their bible. You could tell that guy wasn't open to hearing something new he already had his mind made up.

Wow how frustrating this ‘conversation’ was ! Myles you stayed so calm even though you had to repeat yourself so much & the adventist guy still wouldn’t engage!
This just showed so clearly that SDA’s have no idea where their beliefs actually come from !
I have learnt so much about adventism since leaving & realise how confused the religion is - very sad
I was also brought up Adventist didn’t go to sda school & therefore
don’t feel I was quite so
indoctrinated as I might have been had I been educated in the system BUT Ellen white permeates everything so even if you don’t pick up one of her books - you hear it in ‘sabbath school’ etc & don’t realise it’s not the bible you’re hearing 😫
Many years ago, pre 1970 an Adventist knew where their beliefs came from for they read Ellen G White. In the SDA services pastors would refer to certain scripture verses and then say, "Lets see what Mrs White has to say (or to tell us about) what this verse means." Today pastors of SDAism just memorize Ellen and weave it into the sermons along with scripture so that the members are taught what Ellen has taught them but the poor members think all they are hearing is scripture and a correct interpretation of it. They do not know what they are learning is what Ellen has written, additions to scriptures and contradictions to the pure word of God. My 40 some year old daughter if I speak to her about what she believes will tell me that which I have read in Ellen's books. I read nearly all of Ellen's books and some more than once. My daughter's understanding of scripture is as and from what Ellen says and yet she has never read any books that Ellen has written.
boy that took him 45 minutes just to apologize..hehe...i thought he's part of the discussion...
E.G.W makes a lot of money from books in her time. SDA making money now from her writing. We had an entire catalog when we were growing up. We had to read them.
As a former Adventist myself, it was frustrating to listening to Richie because that used to be me defending Ellen White despite all the evidence that she’s a false prophet. What amazed me in this convo was that he could call her infallible without having read one of her most popular writings - The Desire of Ages and one of the most important chapters in that book on Jesus’ crucifixion. If you’ve never read Ellen White widely, especially her most popular writings, you can’t then turn around and claim she’s infallible. How do you know that?!
I have phased out SDAism too. The scales are falling off. All the best on the Christian journey. -Keithia

Let finish this conversation.
I’m seeing roots here!!!!
I'm a former Adventist pastor. The writings of E.G. White are largely antibiblical.
and how many years were you a pastor?
Sorry for all the comments but I gotta say I think that did more to harm Adventism than anything I’ve heard in quite some time-and Praise God for it!!
I was introduced to Gods Word in an SDA building but as soon as I questioned their prophetess I knew I was onto something.
They spoke double speak as a knee jerk reaction.
They are trained in deception.
I love the people and each day I spend an hour or two sharing Scripture but it’s a long haul race it’s no sprint-the devil has brain washed them-he’s made them think that they are a pure glass of glacier water unblemished and all-but one drop of poison (of which there are many) makes it all unfit for consumption.
It takes a long long time to start to see anything happening upstairs with long time Adventists.
Thus was excellent and such an “object lesson!”
Yikes, definitely I didn’t know this myself that many writings from our founders and EGW that the belief wasn’t that Jesus was God but “elevated” later many writings do affirm Jesus as God eternally.. eternal God.. in other later writings..Oh goodness what will we do.. that DA quote was odd for sure and not biblical, scripture doesn’t affirm Jesus ascending first to heaven after resurrection. I think sometimes as an Adventist currently 😅i do have cognitive dissonance. Many churches in SDA churches may preach the true gospel and believe we don’t put EGW above or equal to the Bible.. we say this and believe it but definitely many not all.. and we don’t see that we filter scripture through her narrative. We haven’t always been aligned with Scripture and currently I see we still have this issue when looking more closely to many of our fundamental beliefs.... 😢so sad.. Ongoing Bible student here. Good conversation. Also, a lot of us in the church don’t know Adventist history well.. or Christian history..clearly.. its embarrassing. Thanks for the biblical discussion. I have a lot to think about!
Respectfully.
I seen a major!!! Attack on New Testament!
THIS WAS A GOOD VIDEO IT SHOES THE ADVENTIST CAN NOT DEFEND THEIR BELIEFS
THAT IS SAD AND THERE IS A GOOD REASON FOR THAT THEY ARE ALLOVER THE PLACE
ON THEIR DOCTRINES IN MY OPINION THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIANS.
"Seventh-day Adventists _always_ believe that Jesus is God"? Clearly this guy knows nothing about what the pioneers like JN Andrews, James White, and Uriah Smith believed about Jesus.
That’s why I was so shocked initially. Definitely not tuned in on SDA history or the pioneers and pre-1864 days.
@@answeringadventism I'd recommend him take a course on Adventist heritage. Oh wait... It's _always_ taught in the local church (or at least here in the Caribbean Union).

Richie won't answer the question..... he doesn't want to get backed into a corner. because there will be one certainly.
Its disappointing that in these times people cannot defend what they believe. Ive been an SDA for a few years now and i truly believe i am in the right place. On matters that i am uncertain about, I always ask God for his guidance and to make things clear to me and i can say up to this point i am confident in being an SDA. Ellen White is not infallible (she is a human just like everyone else), however her writings have inspired me to draw closer to God and to study the Bible more earnestly. You may not believe that the sabbath is still binding, but we keep it and it has been the greatest blessing to me and my family. I will admit that a lot of SDA do not study the Bible as they should which is a dangerous thing and i encourage you all to do better. Jesus is coming soon, may we all be ready.

Richie Hart sounds like he come from this stem of Adventism that really don’t focus on EgWhite; Ministers in these churches KNOW the doctrinal error so they stay away from EgWhite but stay part of the denomination. You will find many churches in Australia like that. And yes, I went to several Adventist baptisms recently and they did not publicly endorse the EgWhite baptismal vowels. Perhaps when you come across these kinds of adventists you need to take a different tact as they really do not know what EgWhite teaches - they just say by memory, “EgWhite is inspired”.
It might rile me up get me fumed!

What does bible say about angels and man bringing you another gospel?
Hey Brother Richie,
I see @ 1: 06 you stated; "I believe that Jesus Christ is GOD... and that's what my church has always believed". Then after you were corrected, (in that the Adventist Church has not always believed that) you argued to refute the correction, but when it was revealed to you that the founder of your doctrine (Elen White) did not in fact believe that Jesus Christ was GOD, you changed the subject. In a proper discord, you must address claims at hand 1st, before moving to the next.
Myles was absolutely using "Desire of Ages" quotes to prove that you're SDA Doctrine is not "Christian", thus Adventist are NOT Christians.
If you are truly a seeker of GOD's truth, then you must allow such discourses to flow accordingly, addressing falsehoods as they arrive organically, and humble yourself to biblical corrections my brother.
Also, give caution to contradictive and/or strawman responses. For @ 7:59 you stated; "I have no problem, I believe she was inspired... (meaning GOD told her what to say, but then you follow with a straw man stating; ) "...but her writings are not above the Bible". (which how could they be above the Bible, if both her writings and the writings in the Bible are both supposedly inspired by GOD)
-we call that "dancing" brother Richie lol-
...and if that was done unintentionally, then your lack of comprehension did not allow you to properly follow the conversation.
