- I bought this Chinese mini excavator at a dealership for much more than the similar auction units. Did I get ripped off or did I get a good buy?

You are absolutely right, and I bought the ZX22D $24,000 From Kymron. I'm sick enough of people's crap comments and They need to put there iPhones made in Shenzen China down. YES and as well everyone else's Vietnamese Samsung phones DOWN! Also turn off your Foreign TV and read a book with a home brew cup of coffee! Not your Keurig China coffee maker!

Yet I built cell towers, so many parking lot warriors have no clue how things really work
$3800 into my AGT QH12R plus a couple hundred adding on a cooling fan and hyd cooler with filter. No complaints and so far no issues either.
Nice. Amazing the work that can be done for so little money.

10k buys a lot of machine at auction I just bought a 2.5 ton with a cab for 10k all in including delivering it 800 miles

You are right ! Auction machines are junk !!! I see people spent more time fixing them than working on them!!!
For the most part, yes. A few decent ones get thrown in, but a lot of horror stories as well.
I'm glad to hear your imported equipment was offloaded. It sounds like it wasn't selected for screening by US Customs. For anyone interested in importing equipment, be prepared for that event. I've imported several of these things and have had the unfortunate experience of being selected for x-ray and stripout from US Customs on one of my imports; This easily added an additional $1k to the bill and the item was held at the port for 1 month.
Also, there's no doubt that your equipment is a cut above the auction units. You've got a swing boom, hydraulic thumb, diverter valve, hard plumbed lines, oil cooler, etc. I bet every bolt and nut was tight on that unit, too. There are plenty of stories of guys buying the auction units and having the bolts fall right out.
Anyways, good luck with the skid steer; I can't wait to see more content on it.
I agree, I’m glad I didn’t have delays. I did the DDP shipping so that I didn’t have to deal with any shipping expenses at all.

That’s possible, depending on the level of mechanical repair want to. I knew nothing, a used old machine sounded scary to me.
@@OurLifeInTreesa used japanese machine is heaps better than this gasoline chinese garbage. That being said, for around 5 grand they have their place, and i’m genuinely considering one. But 10k you got bent over
@@kyzer9144I disagree. With the upgrades, availability, assistance and financing, I feel it’s worth paying more. I would recommend getting one as they are super handy.
I've been looking at one of these little excavators that has the swing boom. Do you think it's worth it?
It’s worth it if you need it for something, which in my experience is very rare. I used mine to dig out a little creek before and once to dig a trench to run electric to a hot tub for a cabin in the woods. There were trees in the way and the side swing was handy.
I wonder if it makes it a bit “looser” in the front and might be less wobbly without it.
For me it is worth it, I’ve seen a lot of guys that love their machine and don’t have it.
It's funny to see you bragging about the machine/with warranty, then see you crying 5 things you hate about it. Take it back to the dealership.
Haha. The 5 things I hate were easy fixes besides slow and tippy. I still cry about the slow. I made a follow-up video fixing the 5 things I hate about it as well and made it better in an afternoon. The dealer did send me some free touch up paint to make it pretty and make me cry less. lol
I have same unit but without swing boom selling it for $6700 already modified!

@@OurLifeInTrees yeah it's not fun waiting lol we even debated driving down there to go get it just not worth it CSO shipping company through kymron only 1600 we would burn 8to900 in fuel alone kind of crazy how cheap these guys can ship stuff and I hope everything goes smooth with your machine can't wait to see the video
