Getting Rid of Moss & Dirt on My 78 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT

It's time to clean up this old Bronco, today is the day!
I use a mix 50/50 mix of LA's Totally Awesome general purpose clean and water to remove the moss and dirt, also strip the some old black paint from the engine hood, making this old Bronco much better looking.

I like your term "revitalization", captures the spirit of what you've set out to do. Wisps of smoke - laughed out loud but don't be surprised if this catches on. And if anyone gives you grief about it, show them the video of you carrying the roof alone - they'll leave you alone after that. Hey Chuck, for some unknown reason some of the comments are not showing up in the usual place, and I almost miss 3 of you guys.
The "Wisps of Smoke" just popped into my head as I was video, so I ran with it. Lol
Yes, and at 61 years of age, I don't think I should be doing those types of lifts anymore...but its hard to change old habits.

Hello Alvin. Good job on the clean up. You can see the pin stripe on the hood! Maybe soak the hood hinges in a plastic tub with vinegar for a week or so. (Joernone tip)

Yes, there are pin stripes under all that old paint, and did you the high end sanding job, before the black paint was laid down? Lol

It does look better, I was thinking that after I get the engine in, and fix some of the more pressing issues...like the brakes, I would try wet sanding some of the scratches out.

Wow, you bought O J Simpson's White Bronco.... just look at those bullet holes ! I'll bet you could more than double your money after your rust repairs! Who knows what "evidence" you might find....maybe that's why the front seats were changed. God bless you .
