My two favorite Helix gurus in one place. Great!! Both have helped me rationalize the switch from my tube rig to digital. Practical, plain speaking, real tones. Thank the both of you

For those that poo poo modelling they likely never been in a control room with their amp next door mic’d up. They assume the slightly sterile feel of modelling means the tone is not as good . This is why live I live the powercab plus so get some presence on stage as well. I’d defy non modelling amp folk to with one tap of footswitch change to a different amp while a boost turns on and maybe their reverb delay settings change . Michael Flately Riverdance comes to mind 😂😂

I still love NI Guitar Rig Pro 5! GRP is the best modeling software, if not for the amp modeling then for the fact that it's a sound design platform for any audio source, but especially great for electric guitar and bass. And Brett Garsed is indeed so awesome and a sweet guy.

Think Brett Garsed handled guitar duty for Nelson when thry were big, among other things, a legit guy as Jason says.
