what is the proper procedure for connecting the BNC cable between the plate and the camera to reduce SDI damage? there doesnt seem to be enough space to disconnect the BNC from the camera first for battery swaps.

Great product, I was wondering if using this with the Red komodo will prevent the sdi ground fault from occurring ? or if using the sdi to hdmi and or 2 pin lemo will also help this matter.
