I remember lying in bed as a teenager listening to this John Peel show. " a grand gin and shaky smile please mr. Barman" was playing and I'd never heard anything like it

Turns out Gareth Sager was hanging out with Nico. She was living in Brixton at the time, so Gareth and Mark Springer brought her along for this session
I checked the BBC Peel session page and it says Nico. It sounds like Nico, but it's just too weird to be true! I would love to know how it all came together. Was it all arranged or did she happen to be there at the time?
The wikipedia page just states she worked with them on that one Peel session, nothing about how it happened unfortunately. Can't seem to find much information online either. Although, she's supposed to be featured on "Circa Rip Rig & Panic" released this year but that may be the Peel session track anyway. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rip_Rig_%2B_Panic
I was lucky enough to see and hear them in a concert in 1982 at a beautiful music festival in Vilar de Mouros Portugal.
Me too, I was there. ❤️

Late 70s early 80s lowkey THE golden musical era 👌 bringing us heat like this!
LINE UP:
Lambkin Shnod (Violin, Vocals)
Finklebaum (Woodwinds)
Miss Pib (Drums, Percussion)
The Stinking Hog (Bass, Acoustic Guitar)
Nico (Vocals-Pullover No Sox Only)
I wonder why neither of Rip,Rig, and Panic's singers appear on this session?
What about Neneh Cherry?
