  • Lift your leg!
    Sorry, were you expecting something fancy? 🤔
    If you can pull your leg up, let go and maintain that height then you're good! If not then a bit of strengthening work would be a good idea!!
    If you're ok with that then keep with stretches and glute exercises
    Also, don't use cheap treadmills.

    Awesome video, thanks so much! Mine were okay but I have IT band pain and have heard it actually starts in either the hip flexors or the gluteus medius. Side leg lifts and clamshells helped a lot with IT band pain, but it always comes back. Office jobs where we sit eight hours a day are the real killer. Anyway thanks again for your straight-to-the-point content!!

    I have this issue where when I set up straight with both feet on the ground, my hips don't feel flexible enough to let my knees comfortably come together. Any idea what that is?

    My hips are weak but not tight and I have anterior pelvic tilt so do i ignore the stretch excersies?

      tm yep I would focus more on banded marches and slow movements through large ranges to help!

    I did that and decided to hold it for a minute on each side. Is my hip strength adequate?

      Yep! Sounds good, wouldn’t be something to focus on then 💪🏼

    If I do squats will they target my hip flexors? Thanks

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  4 роки тому

      Jazzy Vids yes to an extent, if you’re not having any issues with the front of your hip then I wouldn’t worry about this one!

    I have tried each test and it appears that my hip flexors are neither tight or weak, but my flexors still feel really tight. Could there be another cause for this issue?

      Potentially lateral core strength, have you checked out SMM yet?

      @@TomMorrison Thanks for replying. Forgive me, I'm not familiar with that acronym. Is it fitness related? Do you, by chance, have any videos that explain what it is?
