Glad you finally got it sorted man! Nothing beats working on project cars with your buddies. I spent this weekend pulling the k20 from my track EP3, a job that would be much harder/ess fun without friends to help!
Well i bet thats a big relief i know it is for me cant wait to see coilovers also hope your prepared for this summers hurricanes and tropical storms we've been getting some bad storms here in Pennsylvania snow rain and wind be safe
Thanks a lot man! Yeah right? I think that's why we were all stumped at first, thinking it had to be something with wiring or the distributor...maybe timing. Pump didn't show any signs of going bad before the old motor came out but I guess since it's possibly the original pump and being 26 years old then me doing two track days on it made the thing give up the ghost.
LOL squealing belts make race cars seem not so cool. But yes dude, so looking forward to these coilovers. Trying to build up some of the suspension around those with the new ball joints and tie rods. Hopefully doing some other pieces before the coilovers are bolted up as well
I replaced my fuel filter and it seemed to rev up much better and it had much better response. I replaced my entire fuel pump assembly but I need a bigger fuel pump
Yes! That'll be a good day. Hoping to continue on with the suspension stuff preparing for these new coilovers coming, then once it's back on the ground on all 4 wheels it'll just be ready to go! I hope!
lol well that's cool man! You'll have to let me know if you were right or not after you see them. Or let me know now. I won't say yes or no either way until I get the coilovers delivered haha
Refine Movement I wouldn't want to say the gender of them bc UA-cam might demonize you guys for hate speech or something lol. But you'll get a birth certificate for the coilovers lol
I honestly was wondering that myself. If using synthetic will help the oil cover more places quicker. I know y8’s have a reputation of apinnong bearings. But this will stay at the stock rpms as well, no trying to go to 9k over here haha. But thanks man, I’ll be using the synthetic regardless
I have a 92 civic with D15b7. Car has really bad fumes and when I try to drive the car the car seems to sputter when I give it gas then I let off it catches up. Have to be easy on throttle. Also has a new cat but the car was sitting for 2 years. Gonna do a tune up should I also do fuel pump and drain fuel? It was sitting on full tank
Thanks a lot man, sure appreciate the thought! My exhaust piping is all stock except the cat was deleted by the previous owner. I just took off the muffler then. Sounds more aggressive than it really is lol
I haven't driven the car yet so I can't speak to that. The d16y8 will have more power than my old d15b7 did so that's what I imagine I'd be noticing first. But I will say that it sounds like the fuel is being pumped faster. With my car being gutted I could always hear the fuel pump very well, not I notice it priming even louder. More flow I'd imagine is why.
We didn't at first either man. After ruling out the timing and those possible bad sensors Dusan started thinking it was something in the fuel system. He was right!
Is that motor vtech or not. I just both a hatchback 97 same motor. I believe is a 1.6 it's super slow .. even a Ford focus is faster then my car, I just race one last time . I definitely lost..:((((((?????( please help...
No sir, it was more of a joking matter when I wrote that. Your engine will be fine as long as you don't do it all the time cold start put a lot of pressure on the piston rings because the oil isn't there to keep it cool.
Watching you wrench that fuel filter down with the positive battery terminal exposed next door was exciting
That face at 3:30 happens to everyone when shyt goes right🤣 Fuel, spark, air... those guys called it👍🏻👍🏻
Haha yeah pretty much!
AEM wideband ,some injectors, valasity stack ,fuel regulator, ajustable cam gear ,MSD ignition box ,shim for oil pressure ,a Hondata s300 ,a good dyno tune ,some stiffer sway bars ,a LSD diff, and Integra front brake hub assembly with calipers and bigger rotors from the salvage yard direct bolt on .💪😎👌
Glad you finally got it sorted man! Nothing beats working on project cars with your buddies. I spent this weekend pulling the k20 from my track EP3, a job that would be much harder/ess fun without friends to help!
Its always the smallest thing, cant wait for the track videos to come
That’s crazy man. I guess so huh. But yeah, getting back out on track is coming! Thanks
Goodto hear the engine is running without problems (that sound 😍) good job! 👍🏻💪🏻
Can’t wait to see it on the track! I’m sure you’re going to make some huge progress and be very proud about it
Well i bet thats a big relief i know it is for me cant wait to see coilovers also hope your prepared for this summers hurricanes and tropical storms we've been getting some bad storms here in Pennsylvania snow rain and wind be safe
Iam building a d16y8 as well, like the car man the videos you guys made have really helped me out with installing the aftermarket parts:)
Oh very cool man. Happy to hear our videos can help out! Have fun with your project.
Dude so stoked for you. The coincidence the pump failing with the swap is weird lol.
Glad it was a quick fix! More awesomeness to come!
Glad you got it sorted! cant wait to see this on the road!
So happy you got that issue resolved. Now to replace that squealing belt and prepare for the suspension upgrade 😁
LOL squealing belts make race cars seem not so cool. But yes dude, so looking forward to these coilovers. Trying to build up some of the suspension around those with the new ball joints and tie rods. Hopefully doing some other pieces before the coilovers are bolted up as well

glad you got it going bro. I'm excited for you
Thanks a lot man for real! Lots of cool stuff to come
Dam I'm excited for you! Car looks nice and now it's running. Keep up the good work can't wait to see what else you guys do on the cars.
Thanks a lot man! Yeah, a fair amount of suspension work in the near future for the EG anyway. Coilovers are coming!
I absolutely love you guys ! I need to order that honed performance brake booster delete tonight :)
I love it when things come together. Time for a ceremonial "first time on the road pull" lol
Yes! That'll be a good day. Hoping to continue on with the suspension stuff preparing for these new coilovers coming, then once it's back on the ground on all 4 wheels it'll just be ready to go! I hope!
Refine Movement you're going to love the coilovers. I'm pretty sure, like a hundit percent sure, I know what they are. The hint was too easy. Lol
lol well that's cool man! You'll have to let me know if you were right or not after you see them. Or let me know now. I won't say yes or no either way until I get the coilovers delivered haha

Ahhhhhh the feeling of accomplishment! That's awesome dude!
Im really happy that you solved the problem i culd si it in your face you're doing a nice and clean job with help but its very good always
Got link to this exact pump I’m seeing 2 different pigtail style pumps with same part number boss wonder why
You already know great video and keep up the hard work 💪
Awesome! car sounds great now!!!
Yeah it sounds really good, I'm really happy about it, thanks a lot man
You should use synthetic oil for your Y8 it will reduce the chance of spinning them bearings and provide other benfits
I m very happy to see your eg running again..!! 😉😉😉
I sure appreciate the thought! I'm very happy as well lol

2:25 i love this beat
Yes!!!!!!!! Congrats man!
Dusan&Juan Movement.
LOL they are the reason it’s able to move again so yeah
Do you have any video of the problem the car had because I think I have the same problem but not to sure and would suck to buy a part I don't need.
Glad to see your hatch running again and revving w/o issues.
Btw, what exhaust system are you using, plz?
Thanks a lot man, sure appreciate the thought! My exhaust piping is all stock except the cat was deleted by the previous owner. I just took off the muffler then. Sounds more aggressive than it really is lol
mine in idle sometimes turn of if dont hit the gas pedal. time to pit a new gas pump
Cool music!!!! Who are the group! And cool car! I'm doing same to my 93 cx dd!!!
Sweet man! Hope you have fun with your car. I have no idea on the music lol. I just pick songs from freemusicarhive.org that I think for the video!
Con la vecchia pompa quando lasci il gas scendeva a 0 rpm quasi a spegnersi?
Awesome Brotha, CONGRATS!! 👌👍
Thanks a lot man! Very happy
Hi RM, can you please make some video about the red stance civic. Thanks
ua-cam.com/video/b-DuKmBzRpc/v-deo.html Here you go!
Yeah that is great, but I ment some new one. But thanks, love you guys
Bro just wanna ask if does the aem fpr is compatible to stock fuel rail?
Yes
With a new o2 sensor you have to put some miles on the car n the code will stop being thrown
Do you know the part number for the aem fuel pump that you used ?
I don't off hand, no. It's 325 flow though. It's pretty high. I think they have 255 through 325
How do you feel the difference between the old fuel pump vs the new one ?
I haven't driven the car yet so I can't speak to that. The d16y8 will have more power than my old d15b7 did so that's what I imagine I'd be noticing first. But I will say that it sounds like the fuel is being pumped faster. With my car being gutted I could always hear the fuel pump very well, not I notice it priming even louder. More flow I'd imagine is why.
I'm gonna do that because my d16y8 suffer of same lack of power when I push the gas pedal
What year EG is this again?
1992
when i push hard the gas pedal it bogs down like your car did, i replaced the pump and no change. any ideaS ?
Martin Skolnik make a video of it, it's hard to diagnose a problem without sound and sight... like a 30 sec.
black jesus, it is on my channel now , check it out
Need to upgrade the brakes integra rotors and calipers are bigger then civic ones
Cool I didn't even consider the fuel pump.
We didn't at first either man. After ruling out the timing and those possible bad sensors Dusan started thinking it was something in the fuel system. He was right!
Refine Movement that's why it's good having good friends ☺
Is that motor vtech or not. I just both a hatchback 97 same motor. I believe is a 1.6 it's super slow .. even a Ford focus is faster then my car, I just race one last time . I definitely lost..:((((((?????( please help...
The d16y8 is vtec yes. I’m not sure what you are asking for help with man

music is sicc
redlined it cold kms
If you consider 4.5k redlined then yeah. Once. It went to 4.5k once. Every other rev was below 3k.
Great1
Imagine if you bought the fuel pump in the beginning? Would habe saved you alot of time.
Help me
That poor poor cold engine
Revving once to 4.5k cold is gonna kill it huh
No sir, it was more of a joking matter when I wrote that. Your engine will be fine as long as you don't do it all the time cold start put a lot of pressure on the piston rings because the oil isn't there to keep it cool.
Gotta Get A Tune Since Your Using A AEM Pump Lol
