- This tri-fold pocket adds an extra flap to the right inside fold for maximum tuckability. It can be made with coffee-dyed paper or a digital and can be made in a single or double thickness. It makes a great cover piece or is a solid insert for the beginning or end of a signature. Thank you for watching and happy creating.
The tri fold is great! A great addition to any journal. Thank you.
You are an absolute genius!! Thank you for sharing your brilliance! Jen ❤️❤️
Thank you. Genius isn't my normal M.O., so I'll happily take it 😊
Thank you so much Cori, I really really really enjoyed watching you make this amazing and awesome tri-fold. I really really love ❤️ this, especially the way you create the folds, so it really really makes it so easy to create them so they, stay flat. It’s the process of getting thing’s right. That’s what a really really love ❤️ about watching and learning so much from you. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
When I see the handle, Mags Nash, pop up as a message I know the message will make me smile. Thank you Mags 💕

Such a cool idea for birthday cards. I’m definitely going to make some! I always look forward to your videos. 😊
I made a few for birthdays and thinking-of-you and just-because cards. I love using the single layer sheet then putting it in a regular card base. Thank you Luann 😊
Easy and very creative - thanks ! Annette ( South Africa)
Thank you Annette!
Just subbed after watching this last night, and then again today. This is a perfect happy mail, or RAK to send out, when decorated and filled with ephemera bits. I saw scrapbooking with ME make this on her channel yesterday and followed her link to you. I see some great ideas here, thank you.
Thank you and welcome! Thank you for the reminder.... sending out some RAKs is just what I nee to cheer myself up.
Oh wow, looking forward to the new projects!
I always seem to have more ideas than time. Lots of projects in the works!
@@CoriDahmen Same here. I just finished one of your projects, the cards/tags with the long tiny scraps, last night :)
Awesome ideas!!! I love it ! I make a lot of journals with pictures and this works perfect ! Thank you
My pleasure and I’m happy to hear that it works for you 😊
I can’t wait for the scrapbook buster book videos starting in May. I’ve got my journal cover made just like yours of course it’s not as pretty as yours, it was my first time sewing a cover from scrap dollies. I’m so excited to this journey with you to fill my idea journal... ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️
Thank you Donna! I’ve been working on ideas to include and figuring out how I want it to look. I’m looking forward to it as well 😊
Thank you Cori for your video..lovely work..enjoy it a lot..

You’re welcome Mary. Glad it is useful 😊
Thanks! Loved it and happy to see you again 😘
Thank you Donna. It feels good to be back 😊
I love your style. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Ricki. Raggedy grunge hides a lot of flaws, and it makes me happy, so I call that a double win 😊
Hi Cori! Just wanted to say thanks, that I just went to a retreat, with my new fancy 3-hole ink box, which made me feel like such a professional, and then I made a bunch of flips flaps and folds projects over the several days of my retreat. I really like your tutorials and projects and like how you use simple materials because it then reminds me I can use just my old books and coffee dyed paper and it can turn out great.
Thank you Carrie 😊 It sounds like a lot of fun.... it’s been way too many years since I attended a retreat. There are so many cool options when making junk journals that it’s nice to return to basic supplies at times.
Very helpful video thank you 😊 even though it may be that you move right along I find your voice is nice to listen to. Also your instructions are easy to follow! 🌷🌷☀️
Thank you Kim. Easy to follow is always the goal 😊

Thank you Loretta. I may have to copy that to remind my students 😊
💙💙💙
Thank you for sharing!
You’re most welcome Sheri 😊
Just discovered your flips, flaps and folds series. As a newcomer to journalling this is invaluable. Thank you so much for sharing all this with us. I've started my own reference journal using these ideas. Thank you.
Thank you and welcome! I love having quick references available so I figure others do as well. Happy to hear that you’re finding these videos useful 😊
I love this video. Right to the point, not a lot of extra rambling, excellent step by step instructions! . And your voice is very soothing.
Thank you Mary. I go off on a tangent at times, but my goal is to make videos that teach an idea in a succinct way. Mostly 😊
I love this trip-fold! And thank you for showing it the two ways. That lends a lot of creative versatility. Can't wait to see what else you have coming up - sounds like lots of excellent projects.
Thank you Chelsea. I have so many projects planned... I just hope time and schedules cooperate!
Nice pocket!
Thank you Connie 😊
This is the perfect tri-fold for a journal I’m working on! Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial ❤️
I love it when a project comes together! Glad the timing was good and happy creating 💕
Love this, can’t wait for scrap buster.
Thank you and my goal is a May 1 kick off date. Busting scraps always makes me happy!
Another great project! Can’t wait for your next project
I’ve been playing around with ideas for the Stamperia project... thank you and it is coming your way soon!
You had a vertical tri-flip notepad thing in your 2nd advent card video. Could you do a tutorial on that....please.
Hmmmm. I'm not remembering that one. I will watch the video and see if I can figure it out!
Nice projects! Question: would you tape down that back part of the belly band if you were going to sew the belly band? I ask, as I wouldn’t normally sew through tape on my machine. I wasn’t sure if you always glue it down, or just for today’s video. Thanks for sharing.
When I know I'm going to sew something I don't use tape, unless it is purple tape at the edges, to hold it in place while I sew. I find even low-tack tape gums up my needle. If I know I'm sewing I generally use small amounts of glue and let it dry completely before sewing on the machine,
Cori I would really like to order one of the ink pad and glue bottle holders that you make. If it’s still possible. Thanks!
Of course! Would you prefer one, two or three holes?
First, thank you! My ideas book is coming along brilliantly with all these ideas. Secondly, I have to ask, how do you get your coffee dyed paper so flat? I iron mine over and over and it's still wrinkled 😄
Thank you and I’m happy to hear that your book is progressing nicely. I took two pieces of left over 1/4” plywood and drilled holes in the corners. I added flat top screws and wing nuts and I put the dried paper between the two pieces and clamp down, tightening the wing nuts. I’ve found that the compression gets the paper flatter than when I iron it. There is a video back a ways that shows my process. Most Home Improvement stores will cut the plywood for you. Mine are about 14” x 14” (ish) so that I can add longer and larger paper too.
Wow! Thank you that's brilliant 😁 like a big flower press! My fibromyalgia means I can't do that but I reckon I can bribe my Mr to make one for me😆.looking forward to seeing more videos x
Lol, hold that thought! I just found a 'giant' flower press that can hold a4 paper and it's cheaper than bribing my Mr 😄. It's probably quicker too!
@@prof.mommyarty lol! That should work 😊
Love your video but your voice gets very quiet and fast at times. Can be hard to understand.
Thank you for letting me know Lisa. I’ll try to be more aware of where I am in relation to the camera 😊
