Thanks for sharing these real-time listing critiques; they’re incredibly insightful! I primarily focus on art, but I’m considering expanding into t-shirts with some of my designs. I’m curious about best practices for listing them: Should I opt for unisex shirts or create gender-specific listings? And if going unisex, what’s best for the lead photo-showing both a man and a woman wearing the shirt, or just the shirt on its own? A video on this topic would be really helpful. Thanks again!
Your offerings and what works for you is subject to testing, all those things you mentioned will reveal when you start publishing and letting the data tell you what to follow for your next best step.
I loved your intro. Other UA-camrs (one in particular) starts hers with bashing every other UA-camr and how she is right and everyone else is wrong and you do the opposite of being open to everyone’s way of success. Doing and learning is the best way. Love your content it’s beyond helpful ❤
Just to let you know, you can have automatic fulfillment with multiple products types! You just have to add the SKU from printify to the variation, and it will sync with the product when ordered. More work up front, but not on every order
Very informative. Good point mentioning the custom part of the bachlorette shirt first in the title and the little custom location sticker. That's a huge eye catcher that let's buyers know exactly what she's selling.
mmmm makes sense thank you! the first and the last were making okay sales but not best sellers by any means. BUT next one ill find better examples like you mentioned
In regards to the first listing, the whole "urgency" thing; I don't think people realise that you shouldn't be running constant sales. It's classed as marketing fraud, and you can potentially get sued. But this is also on Etsy , as they only push shops with running sales. Which in turn, has conditioned buyers to only buy during a sale. "Oh, there's always a sale on somewhere, why should I buy here?" attitude.
A lot of people do say this, Your allowed to run sales on the platform as much as you want otherwise the platform would restrict it if it was a true issue. Etsy is not the first to invent the urgency badge as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay use the same tactic. I do think there is some truth to what your saying but e-commerce has not evolved to the age where this is is an active issue, especially because you can change the sale amount and turn on off and on for different days which is what I mentioned I do in the video I don’t run it continuously.
@@EcomHannah It's apart of the The Federal Trade Commission guidelines, it's marketing fraud. Will it happen? Probably not, but shop owners need to be aware. I personally wouldn't be trusting Etsy to look after it's sellers.
All you have to do is make one price lower than the rest and it will auto populate on your listing. If that is what you’re talking about you don’t have to set up anything.
After three years of dedicated work, my Etsy account was inexplicably suspended. If you were in my situation, what would be your next course of action? thanks
Maybe I misunderstood you, but it is possible to have multiple "blanks" products in a dropdown menu. Yes it is more work. But it is possible with the SKUs. I use this option a lot since the customer gets more options and I get more Sales :D
I love how specific this is! Thank you! Would it be possible to bundle different product types on the same listing to have a lower cost show initially? Stickers and Shirts with the same design, or a mug and a hoodie with the same design? Should one stick to apparel, like the first listing did in the vid, if doing this or can it be broader than that?
If I add my own video to a best selling listing, will it change it in any way? I'm not touching the SEO tags or anything. Just adding a video I made on my own
On the first one I know this was custom so you would want to fill automatically. I have some listings that have multiple products that sell good and not personalized. It extra work on the front end but you can copy the Sku code from Printify to listing for each product, size and color and it will auto fulfill. I only do this when they start selling good because it is a lot of work but it is less work in the end when it sells.
Thank you for the video. Your videos make me expand my mind... Is it possible to have multiple products in one Etsy listing if the products are from 2 different providers. I am thinking of car seat covers and blankets? Thank you Hannah😎😎
I don't understand how people can afford to knock 30%+ off their products and still charge less than I do making just 25% profit from each product. For example if my competitors charged £15 a tshirt and it costs me £15 to get the tshirt made and shipped to the customer before etsy fees etc then I wouldn't make any profit at all charging their prices to seem competitive. And I'm sure at least here in the UK there's laws around what counts as a sale, so if those listings ran a sale every day then they would be breaking the law here because it's dishonest about the true price of the item. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
the other example I am showing that is super cheap is not a POD seller they are printing themselves most likely but I was pulling out other data points in their listing as examples.
tbh i just wanna design, who’s tryna go halfs on a etsy pod store? ill design you handle the etsy logistics .. i got 200 printify listings ready and adding more, lmk

Hey thank you so much for the love and sharing such kind words !!! 🥹
Well…sometimes listening to too many opinions can be confusing.
Dylan? 😂 Not a fan of hers. Bashes everyone and gatekeeps a lot of stuff behind a paywall.
As a new POD shop this is such a helpful video! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for watching and sharing the love

Hannah you're taking listing which are doing GREAT. We want to see how to improve listings that DON'T SELL....
mmmm makes sense thank you! the first and the last were making okay sales but not best sellers by any means. BUT next one ill find better examples like you mentioned

Great value!!! You rock!
Thank you so much for watching and sharing the love
Super good video. Would love more of these! ❤
More to come!
Printify is more expensive for Uk sellers but it depends on what products you sell.
thank you for the info!!
Thanks for the video! 4:31, how can I activate the cheaper price view?

yes you are correct this was an error on my end

I would probably not mix apparel with other product types, but different types of apparel would make sense
But everything is open to split testing so you could try before writing it off

Should only add value not hurt anything unless the video is bad and turns people off

awesome yes, I definitely explained this bit wrong in the video, but thank you for the value and sharing

Awesome!!!! Those 2 products are super different but hey wont know until you test!
Id love to see how to split test...ive trued by just having differnt cover photos,
That is the main way to do it !

Not sure what you mean about asking chat gpt for new trends. It's last training update was 2022 so it can only give fairly general info.
The paid version is updated
So much valueee!
:]
The design looks really familiar. Isn't it actually a pretty close rip off of the twilight series? 😂
haha I am not sure
tbh i just wanna design, who’s tryna go halfs on a etsy pod store? ill design you handle the etsy logistics .. i got 200 printify listings ready and adding more, lmk
omg that is so many people's dream partnership! I am sure you can meet someone
