I'm trying it! I've always accepted that having a "loss leader" in my shop is going to outstrip my competitors. I also l know that I will probably get flack. But it's all a LONG GAME and people want to go viral and make money instantly. If that's the case and you can handle it, AWESOME. DO IT. I mean to connect with my buyers and really understand the market as it changes. Human psychology and market trends fascinate me at the rapidity of its changes. 😮
We have these strategies within our modules of the program. Not sure if you have considered help? But we’re coaching over 2000 students right now, many of them are over $5K+, $10K+ months. We have students doing $500K/y + revenues. Happy to share more if you’re interested!
Hi . Setting up my shop by having issues with the verification and Persona as my camera isn't working . Do you know how I can use the other option of 'Manual review without biometric info ' Thanks
I don’t have a problem giving it away to get traction but I can’t figure out what it’s costing me. I made one sale last month that I had $10 profit and Etsy paid me $1.40 then a day ago I asked my family to buy something and at your suggestion added a low ticket item I thought would be $4.50 retail and ended up in the hole around $6.00. Believe it or not I’m paying someone now to help me. It’s been 2 months of nothingness. I’m using Printify to make my product.
Trying this… when you say “give it away,” do you mean to initially price it to sell (and if so how do I properly adjust my prices to meet this exactly, using third party sellers) or do you mean price what it’s worth and then put it “on sale” for cost?
You sell just one or few of your products at cost: what it cost you to make or purchase plus shipping. The customer pays but you don't make a profit. This is a temporary strategy.
Dylan, why do you never mention the name of your Etsy shops or show the name on any of the screenshots you show in your video? I just tried looking you up on Etsy and can't find you. Please can you give me a link, as I'm interested in what you sell.
Concerned the groups' admins or even members could potentially flag posts like this as spam. Do you use your business Facebook to post or a personal account?
Yeah I worry about this too. I’m actually in groups that are my customer demographic but none of them would allow this. I’ve actually never been in a group that would allow it.
We are actually able to create a custom package for you and we can match almost any budget. If you're ready to move forward, we’ll work with you to ensure a manageable monthly payment plan. We can put together something for you on the call that fits that way. Some people come in and they are just starting out and they do not have a shop and they are not able to spend much. Other people are making $100,00 a month and they have teams that we are helping train. So we just take a look at your situation and your budget and we can give you a custom package that fits your needs. I would be happy to give you a spot for a call with us where you can see the recommended steps and a full demonstration. If that would interest you and we can go over the variety of options for our help and program. Dylan , you are an amazing woman, I love every single of your you tube videos, I wish I can pay for your program, but I have to make sure I have a safe income to pay my bills as a single mom of two boys. Please help me, How can we give them away? By giving a very low price? Or by giving them for free on Facebook? Please explain. Thank you so much!!
I’m in a similar boat but being in business costs money, whether paying for ads or other methods that don’t require money output like giving something away for free. There’s no getting around this, especially now of days the cost of doing business can be even greater. There are so many ways a starting business will use that will be a cost whether in free product, labor or something else to push faster or even skyrocket making money. I have done several types of business and that is solid advice and practice many businesses use to start.
I’m not an expert but I do know a thing or two. I would look for crafting groups, groups with the type of people that buy your type of product. I’m a part of multiple local town groups, you could go in your local town group. No doubt some people know you. It could be groups your type of clientele might also be in like gardening for example.
@@juliebrayton1277 Thank you so much!!!! I was looking at some crafty groups and noticed the people who post their art on there get up to 3 likes, so I didn’t know if it would be helpful

I’ve always loved creating designs for different types of projects, so starting an Etsy shop felt like the perfect way to bring my ideas to life on apparel. There’s something exciting about seeing people actually wearing what I’ve created, and it drives me to keep coming up with fresh designs that resonate with a wide range of people.
