@@UntamedMotors My wife just commended "You found your people!" LOL!! I am considering a Tundra after purchasing my 3.0 LZ0 Z71. They both have their good and bad points. It does grind on my nerves to have to keep a couple of quarts of oil in the truck when I am towing. I feel like a kid again! As in... 1983... So I was considering going to Toyota for the quality. Supposed to go look at Tundras tomorrow. But I don't want to spend the money and I do love many things about my Z71. Oh, the problems of modern life.
No, it is not shocking to me that you bought the best 1/2 ton truck currently on the market. I am a big Toyota fan and I currently own a 21 Tundra, but if I were on the market today for a 1/2 ton truck, I would have bought the Silverado with the 3.0L diesel engine.
Yep oil pump belt at 200k in rear not so good. I read about alot of check engine lights on these. Hard to say percent of people having issues but still a bit concerning. Will be interested in learning about your experience because I am in the market. I'm with you though the tundra should be reliable but falls short in functionality. The white tire lettering out looks cool.
Thanks man. 🙏🏼 Very happy with how the KO2s turned out 👌 Yeah we will see! Time hopefully. I’ve only read positive ownership testimonials from people. This 3.0l diesel is 💯 💪 Excited to share a bunch more content on this.
Just got my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 with the Duramax. AT 490 MILES, 1 week of ownership, it failed to start. Towed to dealership and few days later they fixed the ECM, had to replace it. Sad and disappointed that i switched from Ram after many years of solid ownership and few hundreds of thousands of miles on them, I wanted to try this Duramax. I drive all day 5 days a week and the lil 3.0 seems to be a solid little engine. Ill see what happens the next few years. im at 1660 miles now, week later and i love this thing. So good on fuel and the torque, oh man! I love to drive it.
@UntamedMotors After seeing your honest reviews of the new tundra in the past, I pulled the trigger on a new raptor almost a yr ago and love it. I still like toyota alot but their was alot if things that steered me away with the new gen hybridb platform. Thank you for many years of honest reviews and also Thank You for your service without people like yourself and my wife this country is nothing. Thank You 🇺🇸
My LZ0 At4 Sierra 1500 easily gets 30mpg hwy. My best so far is 36,4 on a 50 mile run from LA to Ventura. I live in a hilly area so my iin town is lower at 17mpg with a heavy foot. Awesome truck
I drive a 2017 Tundra -/ it was a SEMA show truck in 2018 for WARN and love it but your fears about Toyota going to a twin turbo V6 seem well founded as they are having issues with that motor . I just bought (kept my Tundra) a 2024 Silverado ZR2 Bison 3.0 Duramax as well - white . Love it so far !
I looked at a ZR2 today with the 6.2 V8. It was nice for sure. But since my wife’s Tahoe had lifter failure at 13k miles it’s a hard pass for me. Diesel may be the way to go but worry about maintenance costs. Nice truck. Enjoy it while ya have it
Yeah I hear you. The more I learn about this 3.0, the less concerns I have. I do often worry about the lifter issues becoming a problem in our Escalade. 🤞🏻
@@UntamedMotors wasn’t me.. Yukon Denali. You were wise going diesel. I’m still rocking the 37 Raptor and loving it. Been a year now. It’s not going anywhere.
I’ve seen people talking about oil replacement costing $1500-2000. That’s not bad at all for 150k miles on the truck. Buddy has an f150 3.5 eco boost with 60k miles he has is about to spend $4k on cam phaser problem they all have
I really love the look of the Chevrolet and the (Diesel engine) is amazing and keeps emissions down and power up, is a continuum of refining this robust engine.
So, 4 months down with this handsome truck. I’ve got questions. 1. Real world Mpg? 2. Real world DEF? 3. Comfort for long rides? 4. How sensitive is this engine on diesel quality?
The seats in the Chevy seem under~bolstered, they could be more plush, besides that I think it’s a really nice truck.. I like the high country myself. I own a totota Avalon, bought it new in 2012 as a leftover 2011, 179,460. Lies and running like new with no issues… but I too would buy American and would like to for my next ride….
I think the Silverado's right now are the best value out there....still a super reliable truck and value for your money. When you look at these trucks with comparable trim levels to GMC, FORD, RAM - it's still a better value.
Wait until you have EGR and DPF problems... Thats the main reason companies like Toyota dont sell a diesel in the US. Too many BS regulations and emissions standards to follow. All those parts needed to be in compliance are what commonly fail.
What's the point in fretting about reliability when you keep vehicles for such a short time? I appreciate your thoughts on the matter though as someone who keeps car for a minimum of 10 years (generally 15).
I’m coming around after the initial shock…. This video dropped about 2 hours after watching a video by @thegettyadventures and you guys say the same thing and hit on the same topics. I had no idea Chevy went to forged pistons and all the improvements with the LZO. I think for people they don’t want flashy or a 707hp engine but want a great all around capable truck that will likely last with a proven inline 6 diesel this truck can’t be beat.
Haha thanks Eric. I promise I didn’t just blindly buy this truck… although that’s how it appeared. I’ve only heard fantastic ownership testimonials, so I’m hopeful! 👍 Agreed. This is just a simple looking truck compared to the Raptor and TRX but a part of me likes that. 🤷♂️
@@UntamedMotors Same. I much prefer less flashy. (Although I have always been a Raptor fan). I am sure you did your research. You always do and I have defended your purchases before in the comments. I admit I was wrong for jumping to judgement in your first video. I should “know” you by now. Plus I didn’t know about the updated engine internals. I am really curious to hear your opinion on the upcoming 2025 RAM 1500 Hybrid. It sounds promising.
@@elodge1527 haha all good brother! I’d respond that way too tbh. I mean, a Chevy!?! Lol I get it. Thanks man. I haven’t looked into that upcoming Ram 1500 hybrid. Sounds interesting, I’ll check it out.
I tried staying a Toyota Fanatic. Bought a 23’ Tundra Platinum…it had issues. Tried again with a 24’ TRD OR Limited and again, initial quality challenges. Luckily I didn’t lose money on either. I just picked up a 24’ GMC AT4X with the 3.0L DuraMax. I’ll give it a go and report back.
@@brianmola711 a tamed beast. 25-28 MPG and the double locking diff just helped me get through an unopened pass in Colorado. 3000 miles in 40 days…happy so far!
Apparently it’s too long being an in-line 6, I had the 2018 Colorado ZR2 with the V6 gas, was really hoping the 3.0 would go to the canyon/Colorado, so I got a 22 Silverado withe the 3.0, it’s awesome but this power and fuel economy in the smaller truck would be great
I’m taking every opportunity to assess the differences… both are extremely smooth. Trying to see how they differ but think I’d need to do some minor off roading to give a solid assessment on that. The TRD-tuned Fox suspension was great and so are these… just need to pin-point the differences. I’ll be providing some feedback on that in the coming month or so.
I purchased one about a month ago...traded in my 5.3 for this 3.0 so far I love it! My average mpg is 30.5 and my best has been 35.5 only complaint I have is that there's no way of knowing when the truck goes on a regen other than the smell.. but everything else is great, I really enjoy driving this truck.
Great Presentation!. I agree that the ZR2 Bison is a fantastic vehicle. However, I have noticed more internet videos that are concern with the lost of diesel oil, that may travel to the turbo. Have you heard about the PPE Prototype Catch Can that will filter out this before reaching the Turbo? Steve, from Western Mass.
Depending on how long you do keep this truck, Stealth Performance Modules is currently developing the module for this engine. You think the truck is snappy now, but trust me, the Stealth Performance Module will may the stock throttle response feel lazy and dead. *Not paid, just a satisfied customer since 2019*
My 2017 Transit 350-HD did blow a motor at 20,000 miles-EGR Cooler Failure 😞,but Ford installed a new short block, I removed the emissions, Van has been flawless 180,000 and 0 issues. Ford stopped offering a Diesel in the Transit, iam stuck with my 2017😂
I own a company in West Texas we run seven trail boss trucks in the oil field. All of my gasoline trail bosses are 6.2 L 2021 models all have above 220,000 miles one of them I'm pushing 270 k, never had a single issue out of any of them just oil changes and tires. Nine months ago I purchased three trail boss trucks with the little 3 L mini max diesel. Those trucks right now have about 45 to 70,000 miles on them in nine months All three of those trucks have been in the shop at least three times and they all had to be towed in to Midland Texas for some kind of EGR emissions crap or DEF issue. I will be selling those trucks before the end of this year 2024 going back to the Gas models, in my line of business you cannot have downtime. Before I purchased those 6.2 L trail bosses we always ran a Toyota tundra with the 5.7 We still have one in our fleet right now we use as a shop truck, it has just over 500,000 miles on it and all that was ever done was an alternator But there's no way I would ever change over to that new ugly tundra today we work in an extreme environment dirty and dusty just can't have anything with a turbo due to our long idle times. I was just looking at the trail boss that has 270,000 miles on it it has around 8900 engine hours so you can figure probably at least two or 3000 of those hours are sitting there idling Not to mention on the little mini Max diesel those things have a little cheap belt driven all pump, one of them has already broke the belt, luckily it was under warranty with the damage it did the total bill was a little over $6000.
As a Toyota fanboy I don't blame you for this move. I think Toyota has lost their way at least in regards to their loyal core buyers and what they covet in the brand. Times change and companies have to grow and adapt but I no longer think they offer the best half-ton or compact trucks on the market. I am by no means a GM fanboy but I think you have a better truck there with the compact diesel than you would with a Tundra and that awful turbo six. Best of luck with the truck but I doubt it'll be an issue as you most likely won't still have it come this time next year given your track record lol.
So, I’ve got a Suburban with the 6.2L like your Escalade. And both 4 Runner and Tacoma (mt) TRD Pros like you’ve owned recently. As well as a 6.2L Silverado Trail Boss which is comparable to your ZR2. My fav of them all: the Trail Boss. I hope you enjoy yours like I’ve enjoyed mine!
This truck really has been a pleasant surprise. Loving everything about it tbh… which I know is blasphemy to say on my “Toyota-focused” UA-cam channel lol.
I love toyotas but for people are that brand loyal they are missing a ton of great vehicles. Love my toyotas of the past and the ones I have currently, but my 22 F350 tremor (and many other trucks these days) is absolutely fantastic. I think the Toyota SUVs are phenomenal but I find that the new Tundras and Tacomas are so behind when it comes to the trucks from the big three. AEV really is a nice upgrade to the GM trucks. I wish I had AEV parts available for our Super Duty which is fully built out, but I really wanted a ford over a ram. I think your new 1500 paired with a LC200 really checks all the boxes.
Im with you there. I’m all for brand loyalty but you need to remain open minded… other vehicle manufacturers are bringing the heat. Need to be willing to try new things. =]
People also need to understand that while 25-30 mpg is impressive…where I’m at in Pennsylvania diesel is consistently 30% more expensive than 87 octane. So if you do the math a Silverado with a 5.3 probably isn’t too far behind.
Have a ‘16 ltz on kings, 35’s, and the 6.2/8l90 8 speed. Have 160k on the truck and it’s been amazingly reliable and all around excellent truck. Have been watching videos on this 3.0 diesel as I like the mileage but am concerned about the longevity of the engine. Where and when do these 3.0 diesel engines fail? Where are the weak points?
On the market for one as well. Talked to a farmer selling his 2020 ltz with the 3.0l he had 90,000 miles and said it never gave him any issues and it was the best truck he’s ever owned. I asked why he’s selling it and he opened his garage with a new 2024 parked in it lol he said he won’t buy anything else.
I love my LM2 Duramax engine on my 2021 Sierra 1500 Elevation. I get at least 550 miles on a tank of fuel and can get about 27 MPG on the average. Since I had my truck I have had really no issues except for a few small things.
It looks great. The white letter BFGs make it look even better. That woulda been my first change as well. Were there any changes to the stance of the truck because I like that too. Enjoy.
I test drove this and the 6.2. I liked the 6.2 more, it felt like there was a bit of a turbo delay with the 3.0. Plus the sound on the 6.2 is awesome. Not sure about long term reliability
The fuel pump with some lubricity added to the fuel (dry ULSD) with something like a HotShot's Secret EDT and Diesel Extreme could easily extend the "expected" lifespan, no guarantees, but 100K is not written in stone, also the oil pump belt is a Kevlar reinforced belt that has shown extremely good lifespan in any engine that has had it inspected or replaced so far (due to rear main seal leaks usually), and showed no signs of failure (missing teeth, cracking, etc.) on engines with 140K+ miles, there is no reason to believe that good oil change intervals won't keep that belt in fine shape well past 200K. I will be very surprised if you get the MPG's you claim others are getting, I am getting approximately 24 MPG in my 24 ZR2 w/LZ0 compared to 27.4 MPG in my 21 RST w/LM2 due to the 2" factory lift, more aggressive tires, no front air dam, a bit more weight, and I hyper mile a good bit to see how good an MPG I can get. Still, a good video, and a GREAT truck, I really enjoy mine!
Thanks for the video. Is pound feet of torque not foot pounds. “A pound-foot (lb⋅ft), abbreviated from pound-force foot (lbf · ft), is a unit of torque representing one pound of force acting at a perpendicular distance of one foot from a pivot point. Conversely one foot pound-force (ft · lbf) is the moment about an axis that applies one pound-force at a radius of one foot”
I’m at 21 atm but I’ve also done more city driving than anything… most reports I’m seeing show 25-30mpg. Which is remarkable. The suggested combined rating is 24mpg.
I need a truck though and the Land Cruiser doesn’t fit my family of 6 comfortably (plus cargo)… otherwise I’d have a Land Cruiser again. I prefer this diesel GM product over the new Tundra.
It wasn’t co-designed and engineered by anybody. Opal already had designed and used in a cab over truck. GM just grabbed it because it’s a good engine.
ZR2…. This might be the first vehicle to suffer a major issue before he sells it. I know the diesel is re-done but I also know prior generations had catastrophic overheating issues. Fingers crossed absolutely nothing goes wrong!
What is your gas mileage per Gallon ? I traded a 2015 Tundra got 11.3 mpg. Love Toyota but gas mileage is aweful. I have a 2019 f-150 3.5 getting 22+ avg on Interstate. Regular local mpg is 17.6 all time. Toyota needs to get its act Together on mpg. Otherwise I’ll never go back. And I don’t like the new Tundras at all
The fuel economy has been a total shock… 24mpg combined. I’ve been a little less as I’m breaking in still but most reports I’ve seen show owners getting 25-30mpg with this updated 3.0L 👍
Great review on a great truck. You’re not the only Toyota channel that is pushing this great truck. 14 years Toyota owner bought 23 ZR2 only issue is it isn’t the 3.0L diesel engine. Hope you will post MPG ratings. I haven’t had any issues with my ZR2 it’s a great truck and I’m not a fan of what Toyota has done with their battery powered trucks. I have my doubts that a 2024 taco is gonna be as reliable as my V6 powered 2008 Taco was.
Yup you need to drive longer times, short trips where the engine doesn’t get up to temperature otherwise the DPF filter clogs. I don’t think Wyoming has emissions. After warranty take of all the emissions crap. Wait what am I talking about Untamed won’t keep it that long 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well whoever buys this after he trades it in in 3 months. I think that Cadillac is the longest daily driven vehicle that’s stayed around the channel.

@@dalelangehennig161 haha nice! The ZR2 was cool but it feels “right” being back in the Tundra. 👌 💯
Neighbor picked up one of these, I am thoroughly impressed with this truck. The bison bumper looks way better than the standard ZR2 bumper.
I got one and love it average 30 hwy so far
Wow that is awesome 👍
Bought a ZR2 with duramax last night and on the drive home, 28mpg!!!
Awesome! Congratulations man!!
I have a 23 Denali with the 3L LZ0. This is the smoothest and most refined power delivery I’ve ever seen and I get 22-26 mpg around town.
No, it is not shocking to me that you bought the best 1/2 ton truck currently on the market. I am a big Toyota fan and I currently own a 21 Tundra, but if I were on the market today for a 1/2 ton truck, I would have bought the Silverado with the 3.0L diesel engine.
I saw a diesel ZR2 and it was beautiful. Having never owned a diesel is there extra costs with owning one?
I just made the switch from a 2021 tundra to a Diesel LT Z71 Silverado
Love my Duramax - getting lifetime 24.6 mpg
Yep oil pump belt at 200k in rear not so good.
I read about alot of check engine lights on these. Hard to say percent of people having issues but still a bit concerning.
Will be interested in learning about your experience because I am in the market.
I'm with you though the tundra should be reliable but falls short in functionality.
The white tire lettering out looks cool.
Thanks man. 🙏🏼 Very happy with how the KO2s turned out 👌
Yeah we will see! Time hopefully. I’ve only read positive ownership testimonials from people. This 3.0l diesel is 💯 💪 Excited to share a bunch more content on this.
GMC expensive garbage made for idiots...
I've owned a lot of trucks with a lot of engines. IMO the 3.0 Duramax is the best one for a truck.
I can't wait too see what truck you have next week 😊
Same! 🤞🏻

@@UntamedMotors yeah sounds like the 3.0 is a good option. Curious to see how yours does and how you like it 👍
I won’t go near the 6.2. Have a relative on THIRD rebuild from lifter issue.
@@TCinSoCal man that’s ridiculous… sorry to hear. =\
@@UntamedMotors wasn’t me.. Yukon Denali. You were wise going diesel. I’m still rocking the 37 Raptor and loving it. Been a year now. It’s not going anywhere.
We have 20000 miles on our Yukon xl diesel, favorite part of the truck is definitely the engine.
That’s great to hear! I have yet to hear an honest bad ownership review of this diesel 👍
Haha hate to admit it but I ended up trading this a month after buying… traded for a Ford Raptor. Then a Tundra TRD Pro.
@@UntamedMotors did you trade for failures or because you wanted another toy?
@@fatman5377 just wanted something different is all… the zr2 is a fantastic truck. Resale is bad though…
@@UntamedMotors it depreciates 30% on year one, especially the higher trims.
Best of luck to you.
The belt on the back should have been re-engineered to be gear driven. I do like that set up. Congratulations.
I have a Trail Boss in slate gray ordered with the 3 liter.
Awesome man! Love that color.
Absolutely stunning vehicle. Very jealous!!
Thanks a ton! Appreciate it.
I think the Silverado's right now are the best value out there....still a super reliable truck and value for your money. When you look at these trucks with comparable trim levels to GMC, FORD, RAM - it's still a better value.
Sweet truck, regardless of diesel vs gas
Do you still own this truck? Haven’t seen any new content on it.
Have you been able to log your fuel economy on this bison? with the extra weight, including the tires, I'm curious how the MPG changes.
Wait until you have EGR and DPF problems... Thats the main reason companies like Toyota dont sell a diesel in the US. Too many BS regulations and emissions standards to follow. All those parts needed to be in compliance are what commonly fail.
This probably the reason Toyota going to a hybrid with more mpg, hp, and torque.
What's the point in fretting about reliability when you keep vehicles for such a short time? I appreciate your thoughts on the matter though as someone who keeps car for a minimum of 10 years (generally 15).
I don’t fret reliability. Reliability and resale tend to go hand in hand though… so it’s still a good thing to consider for someone like me. =]
What do you think about thw colorado 2.7 turbo engine? You think it will hold? Im about to buy one and im curious.
It’s a somewhat proven engine, but it’s not a naturally aspirated V6. But it’s definitely somewhat proven.
Can you talk about why you choose this vs the 1500 Seria AT4x AEV?
With diesel being about 25% + more expensive than gas (at least in my area), the increase in fuel economy is not as impressive
How has the duramax been so far?
@@brianmola711 a tamed beast. 25-28 MPG and the double locking diff just helped me get through an unopened pass in Colorado. 3000 miles in 40 days…happy so far!
Great video, and I appreciate the detail you provided.
GM needs to put this engine in the new Canyon and Colorado!
That would be awesome!
Apparently it’s too long being an in-line 6, I had the 2018 Colorado ZR2 with the V6 gas, was really hoping the 3.0 would go to the canyon/Colorado, so I got a 22 Silverado withe the 3.0, it’s awesome but this power and fuel economy in the smaller truck would be great
Forged internals are great but does it still have a wet belt driving the oil pump?
How do those DSSV shocks compare to the TRD Pro? Noticable difference in daily driving?
I’m taking every opportunity to assess the differences… both are extremely smooth. Trying to see how they differ but think I’d need to do some minor off roading to give a solid assessment on that. The TRD-tuned Fox suspension was great and so are these… just need to pin-point the differences. I’ll be providing some feedback on that in the coming month or so.
Ive never seen BFG tires on a Zr2 before, did you add those? or the dealer??
I added them 👍
I purchased one about a month ago...traded in my 5.3 for this 3.0 so far I love it!
My average mpg is 30.5 and my best has been 35.5 only complaint I have is that there's no way of knowing when the truck goes on a regen other than the smell.. but everything else is great, I really enjoy driving this truck.
Wow 30.5mpg is awesome! Glad to hear you’re loving it. It’s a fantastic truck.
I'm impressed with this motor as well I just wonder where we would be today if they had gone forward with it in 2007 before the the FED took over
Haha I’m with you on that… hmm 🤔
Depending on how long you do keep this truck, Stealth Performance Modules is currently developing the module for this engine. You think the truck is snappy now, but trust me, the Stealth Performance Module will may the stock throttle response feel lazy and dead. *Not paid, just a satisfied customer since 2019*

Untamed on November 2023 : Why i traded my LX600 for Silverado ZR2 Bison
Untamed on March 2024 : Why i traded my Silverado ZR2 Bison for Lexus GX550

I own a company in West Texas we run seven trail boss trucks in the oil field.
All of my gasoline trail bosses are 6.2 L 2021 models all have above 220,000 miles one of them I'm pushing 270 k, never had a single issue out of any of them just oil changes and tires.
Nine months ago I purchased three trail boss trucks with the little 3 L mini max diesel. Those trucks right now have about 45 to 70,000 miles on them in nine months
All three of those trucks have been in the shop at least three times and they all had to be towed in to Midland Texas for some kind of EGR emissions crap or DEF issue.
I will be selling those trucks before the end of this year 2024 going back to the Gas models, in my line of business you cannot have downtime.
Before I purchased those 6.2 L trail bosses we always ran a Toyota tundra with the 5.7
We still have one in our fleet right now we use as a shop truck, it has just over 500,000 miles on it and all that was ever done was an alternator
But there's no way I would ever change over to that new ugly tundra today we work in an extreme environment dirty and dusty just can't have anything with a turbo due to our long idle times.
I was just looking at the trail boss that has 270,000 miles on it it has around 8900 engine hours so you can figure probably at least two or 3000 of those hours are sitting there idling
Not to mention on the little mini Max diesel those things have a little cheap belt driven all pump, one of them has already broke the belt, luckily it was under warranty with the damage it did the total bill was a little over $6000.
what's the towing capacity of this vehicle, ballpark?
The towing capacity is 8900 lbs 👍
As a die hard Toyota guy, was very intrigued. Thank you! @@UntamedMotors
You will be back to Toyota in couple of years. My neighbor bought one of the baby Duramaxs and it lasted him about 2 yrs before a major engine issue.
Haha good call. I’m already back into a 2021 Toyota Tundra 👌
Payload sticker for this particular truck please? Love the torque spec
The Zr2 Bison doesn't have the approach bumper?
So, I’ve got a Suburban with the 6.2L like your Escalade. And both 4 Runner and Tacoma (mt) TRD Pros like you’ve owned recently. As well as a 6.2L Silverado Trail Boss which is comparable to your ZR2. My fav of them all: the Trail Boss. I hope you enjoy yours like I’ve enjoyed mine!
This truck really has been a pleasant surprise. Loving everything about it tbh… which I know is blasphemy to say on my “Toyota-focused” UA-cam channel lol.
You haven’t talked about the tech updates on your 2024 ZR2, like the front parking sensors, they weren’t available for 2022/2023
I love toyotas but for people are that brand loyal they are missing a ton of great vehicles.
Those step bars gotta go!
Haha agreed. I have a different set inbound. =]
The Duramax having a turbo doesn’t worry you about long term reliability?
How was this compared to your modern Tundra TRD PRO?
How easy is it to clean or replace a diesel particulate filter in these? Costs?
4 months max
I love my LM2 Duramax engine on my 2021 Sierra 1500 Elevation. I get at least 550 miles on a tank of fuel and can get about 27 MPG on the average. Since I had my truck I have had really no issues except for a few small things.
It’s such a solid platform 👌 glad you’re enjoying yours!
It looks great. The white letter BFGs make it look even better. That woulda been my first change as well. Were there any changes to the stance of the truck because I like that too. Enjoy.
Just a little wider with these tires. These are 12.5in wide whereas stocks were 11in wide.
👍👍👍 @@UntamedMotors
I test drove this and the 6.2. I liked the 6.2 more, it felt like there was a bit of a turbo delay with the 3.0. Plus the sound on the 6.2 is awesome. Not sure about long term reliability
Im liking what i see (minus the oil pump belt between trans and flywheel) and definitely interested still . Im just liking to wait out the "newness"
People like us that trade often it dont concern me and the location of oil pump.
Thanks for clarifying I’ve always heard it both ways. 🤷♂️

The prior generation having heating issues????? Never heard of that if anything emission issuess.

Tundra got 11.3 mpg. Love Toyota but gas mileage is aweful. I have a 2019 f-150 3.5 getting 22+ avg on Interstate. Regular local mpg is 17.6 all time. Toyota needs to get its act
Together on mpg.
